CHAPTER 14: CHAPTER 14: LESSER SWAMP DRAGON

" Squirk" he opened his eyes and saw the rabbit standing infront of him with a white flowers. It had the scent of essence like awakened creatures.

’ Ah what the hell’ with only a few seconds left to live he decided to indulge the rabbit and accept it gift. He ate the flower, ( Obtained 0.4 evolution points, sufficient evolution points, does host wish to start the evolution process?)

’ Huh? Oh yes, start evolution process’ the countdown began, however the wave countdown was a second ahead meaning the wave would arrive before he evolved.

He was terrified then when it hit zero he felt something wash over him like a breeze. What followed was the worst pain he had ever felt.

It felt like everything, like he was being drowned, burnt, flailed and shocked all at the same time. He felt as if the world itself was denying his existence.

For a split moment he saw a giant eye lock into him, it was as if it was the eye of God himself. Endlessly large and endlessly powerful.

He has a feeling that the eye was trying to erase him, that it disdained and loathed his existence, that it deemed him unworthy of existing and that infuriated him.

In his anger and defiance he felt something rise inside him, something so powerful and primal it gave him the impression of the most ancient of beings and he denied the eyes authority, he denied it deniance of him. ’WHO ARE YOU TO DENY MY RIGHT TO EXIST’ he screamed in his head.

It felt like an eternity but it all happened in a single second then his mind blanked out. The evolution process began but he was unconscious and did not feel anything.

Unbeknownst to him the misfortune had turned into fortune. His body had been bathed in the world essence energy but his body couldn’t contain said energy.

So during the evolution process the essence was used to refine not just his body but his soul as well. His body strengthened many time more than it would’ve have had it been a normal evolution.

His traits were strengthened and upgraded, his scales became thicker then compressed and repeated. His entire body grew to 2 metres long before shrinking down to a metre but the mass was still the same.

The evolution process lasted for days and when he woke up he felt larger and stronger, much stronger. He was just about to check his status when he heard a familiar squirk behind him.

The rabbit was in distress again. He ran towards it, his feet cracked the ground and his body moved over 200 metres in a single bound before coming to a stop.

He turned back to look at the trail of deep footprints left in his path, even he was surprised by that speed. ’ Damn I should join the olympics, bet the gold will be mine, wait no no no, you getting distracted again, rabbit needs help’

He continued running though no longer at full speed, he will need time to adjust to that speed but even so he arrived at the rabbit field in seconds.

What he saw made his jaw drop, there were still hundreds of rabbit just grazing without worries but there were also 13 of them tied together with a vibe.

They were growling and struggling, the white rabbit was looking at them with worry, she kept squirking as if she was trying to communicate with them to no avail.

However when he looked into their eyes he realised all of them lacked the spark she had, they were the same as the snake and those 2 behemoths.

He sighed, he really pitied the rabbit, he knew how much she cared about them so it must be hard for her to watch them become ferocious monsters.

When she saw him she ran towards him and gave him the vine with begging eyes. He didn’t know what she was asking but he was willing to help the best he could.

After giving him the vine she ran off to a large hole and jumped inside. ’ What the hell?’ she came out with two white flowers each with 9 petals.

’ Ah so that where she got it’ this was the flower that saved him which was surprising because he didn’t think he could receive points from plants.

She forcefully fed each of them a petal then stood back. They squirked in pain then fainted. She gathered them into the same place and gently laid them down.

With that done he decided to check his status. ’ Status’

’ Dragon? Ahahaha, I’m finally a Dragon, I mean I could’ve done without the lesser or swamp, that just sounds dirty but a dragon is a dragon I guess and I’m goddamned dragon’

He was elated to be finally called a dragon, he started inspecting his body. He realised he felt heavier, by his estimate he was probably 20 to 30 kg but he’d have to ask the system.

’ System how heavy am I now?’ ( By systems estimate host weighs about a 100 kg) ’ A 100 kg, damn that heavy, does that mean I’m fat now? Am I fat dragon? No Ved you can’t use that word, it offensive, but seriously a 100 kg? The amount of power I can dish out with herculean strength will be insane plus it has grown as well.

Also what’s that new haki ability? Is it like the one I saw being used by those 2?’ (Ability definition: Haki- Host can impose his will upon the world. Sub Abilities:

Will suppression- Can suppress the will of those with lesser wills

Haki armour- Create an armour of will that reduce the effect of Abilities used against host

NOTICE: Ability Haki will strengthen alongside host will). ’ Damn that a neat ability’ he then inspected his body and noticed another glaring change.

His poison gland felt incredibly dense and the poison it secret was back to being colourless but he knew it was many time more potent and had other properties as well.
