CHAPTER 19: CHAPTER 19: STRONG RABBIT

She dropped the others and started stretching. He sat down and waited, when she was done she waved her hand and a giant 2 metres long stone sword flew to her.

The swords was shining like polished brown steel, it was made from tons of rocks compressed into a sword. Without her telekinesis she would not even be able to lift it.

She waved her paw, the air exploded and the sword appeared above him in blink, with his speed he could easily dodge it but he chose not to, it was unnecessary.

The sword hit his back and bounced back, sparks flew and a shockwave exploded outwards ripping out everything around him.

When the dust cleared he appeared still lying on the ground in a 1 metre deep crater, there was not even a mark on his scales. She kept swinging her tiny paws at him and the stone sword followed.

Although she can control the sword with her mind using her paws makes it easier but even so she still could not wound him. Watermelon sizes dense rocks flew out and floated around her.

She sent them flying at him like cannon balls. The ground around him exploded but he still did not move. Through the dust cloud he did not notice the sword flying at him.

This time blue electric arcs were dancing on it. When it landed on his back he felt electricity flow through his scales and muscles followed by a slight burning sensation.

This was one of his weaknesses, while scales could block and diffuse most attacks it couldn’t fully stop lightning which can flow through them.

Then the dust cloud parted and she appeared with lightning arcs dancing around her body like snakes. He knew taking her kick wound not be fun.

The lightning around her was much stronger than the one on the sword so he dodged. The air exploded and his body appeared 50 metres away in a blink.

With the flash trait he was able to match her speed even without using his top speed, mind you speed was her forte. She kicked the ground and jumped at him with her lightning coated sword floating around her.

He covered his claw with the transparent jell poison, other than acting as a powerful force nullifier it also had a slight numbing effect and was very resistant to most elements.

It numbing effect is probably the only reason it is even classified as poison. He swung his jell coated claw at her but it was blocked by an invisible force for a moment.

This was another application of her telekinesis. Although powerful it was not enough to fully stop his attack, the invisible barrier shattered like a balloon.

But she used her telekinesis to fly back and dodge his claw. He opened his mouth and breathed out white fog that covered 200 metres around them.

This was one of his poison abilities, it was still a wonder to him how his abilities can be so powerful and magical even though he couldn’t use essence energy.

His poison gland was able to transform his poison to create different types of poisons based on his desire. It could turn the poison between liquid, solid and gaseous states.

This white fog was a type of anesthetic that induces heavy sleep. She jumped out of the fog with a blue energy barrier around her. This was not haki armour but an essence barrier.

She was the first creature he has seen use it, he didn’t have much to work on but he suspected this was a speciality of spiritual beings but she’s the only rank 2 spiritual creature he knows besides him and he couldn’t use essence.

Although the barrier was able to block most of the mist some was still able to get to her. He jumped towards her and started chasing her around while she attacked him with her sword and bolt of lightning.

Their bodies were moving so fast they appeared as nothing but blurs and shadows. Each of their attacks shattered the ground and created powerful gales.

This lasted for a few minutes but they had caused massive devastation to the area, craters and charred spots filled the ground. Although it would appear as if they were evenly matched it was anything but so.

Firstly she had already activated her haki armour and combined with her essence barrier it created a really powerful defense. But he was yet to use his haki armour.

And he was not even using his herculean strength or flash traits to the full potential, on top of that her speed was slowing down, the anesthesia was starting to work.

He knew this fight would not last much longer and as he thought. Just as she was kicking the ground to dodge her foot gave out and she fell.

Before she could pick her self up he was already there, his claw shattered her haki, essence armour and he pressed his sharp claw on her neck.

She squirked in frustration and he could see the disappointment in her eyes. After that she ran to the forest. A few moments later he heard explosions coming from her direction.

He knew she had resumed her training, she did this everytime she lost against him. After spending some time with little baby rabbits he left.

He spent the rest of the day swimming and occasionally munching of fish. The number of rank 1 fish has grown again and that was because the number of rank 1 plants was no longer as hard to find in the river, though there were still a few.

However none of the fish he met had a spark, they were all demonic beast. Late at night he was lying on his stomach on the river bank watching the forest across the 300 metres wide river.

He had decided, he would venture in there again but before that he would have to fill the last trait spot. A week passed, during this last week he had been eating whatever he can and he still did not find a suitable trait.

He was standing next to the river ’ well here we go’ he jumped in. It was time to pay a visit to the other side.
