CHAPTER 44: CHAPTER 44: GIANT CROC

The crocodile felt nothing and continued with it meal. Since he didn’t infuse the poison with his will it became completely undetectable to the crocodile.

When it reached the crocodiles body it joined with the already existing poison and continued spreading.

When the crocodile was done eating it swung it giant body causing giant waves to spread out then it left.

He followed it slowly, hiding his aura to make sure he was not detected while also keeping his distance.

When he was hungry he would eat the nearby plants or some unlucky fish that happened to swim by him.

Since he wasn’t hunting for evolution points it didn’t matter if the fish was a normal unawakened animal as long as it filled his stomach.

Just like that an entire month passed, then a second, then a third. By the end of the third month the poison finally took effect.

The giant crocodile suddenly stopped moving then it body sank to the floor. It had fallen into deep sleep.

He hesitated for a moment, picked up a rock and threw it at it but it did not move. Then he approached slowly.

When he got close he poked it body with his claw, when it didn’t wake up he released a sigh of relief.

He circled around it body to look for a weak spot, the pain might wake it up so he needed to kill it with as single attack or atleast very few attacks.

He watched nature documentaries in his past life and saw Jaguars kill crocodiles and the way they do it is by biting the back of their skull.

That killed the crocodiles in mere seconds but there was a problem with that plan here. This thing was huge, like really huge.

It length alone was probably around 30 to 40 metres, it head was almost if not as big as he was, even if he bite the skull he doubted his teeth would reach it brain.

Actually there were two problems, he couldn’t even bit the skull because when it fell over it landed on it back.

He sighed and backed off, he stood a few metres away from it trying to think of the safest way to kill it.

He could try poisoning it with lethal poison but it was so powerful it would just shrug of that poison unless he infused it with his will and even then he would probably have to keep injecting it as well.

However he couldn’t do that from afar but getting close might lead to his death. ’ Crocodiles bellies are softer, should I just drill into it stomach and kill it from the inside?’

He immediately dismissed that idea, while their bellies were softer that was compared to their backs and this was a rank 3 beast, even it soft belly is still hard.

He sighed, he knew the only way to do this was to get close but he didn’t want to risk his life, especially after going through so much trouble to get it to sleep.

While he was thinking one of it legs twitched, he knew he didn’t have much time so he stopped hesitating. He did have an idea but he was not sure it was very safe.

But at this rate the crocodile will wake up before he could think of a much safer plan so he attacked.

He sunk his teeth into it neck, it eyes sprung open but before it could react he coated the transparent gel poison all over his body. The crocodile roared then tried to claw at him.

However it webbed feet slid off the slippery gel but that also brought him a problem. The gel was making him slip off the crocodile which put a lot of strain on his teeth which he was using to hold on.

The crocodile swung it body left and right, flipped over and over again but he refused to let go, instead he used his web to attach himself to it belly.

Fortunately his web and gel did not interfere with each other, infact the web was able to easily pass through the gel like it was not even there.

This made it even harder for the crocodile to shake him off. Then it started swimming, it speed was much faster than his, it giant body split the water and sent giant waves in opposite directions.

It swam close to the ground and dragged his body against the muddy swamp floor but even that failed to shake him off so it jumped.

It body soared out of the swamp and flew dozens of metres into the air, the sun reflected on his gel like it was diamond. It green mossy back became clearer out of the muddy swamp water.

He smelled a faint scent of grass from it. ’ Oh by Ra’s bold head this is bad.’ they were falling towards a region filled with weeds and tall grass.

The fact that he could smell grass from it meant it had the wood element and being around so much grass and weed was not good at all, for him.

He desperately tried to inject the poison faster, he didn’t just bite it for nothing, the moment he sunk his teeth into it he started injecting poison.

By now he had already injected over 60 percent of all the poison he had left which wasn’t a lot.

After using the undetectable anaesthesia and the gel poison he was only left with around 40 percent of his total poison and he had already used 60 percent of that.

Their bodies hit the water and sent tons of water flying into the air like a bomb. Before he could react the surrounding grass and weeds moved like snakes.

They tied themselves around his body and tried to drag him off but his web was holding him tight. More and more grass stretched towards him but he didn’t stop injecting his poison, he couldn’t afford to.

After realising it couldn’t pull him off it made the grass tighten around him, he felt his body being squeezed and his old internal injuries opened up.

He wanted to scream but he did not dare remove his teeth, the grass continued tightening, when he injected the last drop he roared in pain and threw up a mouthful of blood.

The tightening grass had opened the wounds inside him and the pain was mind numbing. He felt his web loosen, it was not as effective underwater afterall, just as he was about to be pulled off, the crocodile roared and the rage in it eyes intensified as it gazed at him.
