He didn’t even know he had telekinesis. ’ What the soul signature you keep talking about?’ The hippo scoffed in contempt.

’ Mmm, I do not know how to answer that, I suppose you can call information about yourself. Your soul contains all the information about to you.

And it emits signals which contain some of this information. Somethings like your abilities are hidden deep within your soul and cannot be detected easily.

But your rank, grade and levels are less so, soul signature contains that information.’ ’ Then how is it different from aura? Because I can deduce those things from aura as well.’

’ True, but the difference is aura speaks more of your accumulative strength as well as experience. It’s also influenced by your abilities which is why some auras feel hot like fire and others cold as ice.

Because of that, two people with the same soul signatures can have auras with different levels of strength. Take you for example, while you soul signature is that of an early rank 3 with a peak sky grade bloodline your aura can rival that weak rank 4’s ’

He nodded in understanding. ’ You also talked about levels of will manipulation, what was that about?’ ’ Mmm, the first level is image conjuring.

That the stage where you can temporarily strengthen your attacks by conjuring an image in your mind. The second level is the one you’ve achieved.

And according to my memories the third level is called true image projection. That where the images manifest as illusory images to world.

I’m not clear on it significance either but I think it has the ability to change effect, those are the only three I know of. Enough about that, it’s time we talk about why I brought you here.’

’ No, I want him to pay for what he did before you discuss anything else.’ ’ Enough child, let it go.’ ’ Let it go? He killed a member of my clan how can I let it go?’

’ It was not even a member of your race let alone your clan.’ ’ It doesn’t matter , it was still mine.’ The old frog sighed. Ved was confused.

What did the old man mean when he said it was not a member of her race? Ved was certain that was a hippo just like this one so he decided to ask.

’ Demonic and spiritual beasts are completely different races even if their bodies look the same.’ ’ If their bodies are the same them how are they different?’

’ The soul is what determines race.’ Even the hippo looked offended at being compared to a demonic beast even though it was fighting for it just a moment ago.

’ What do you want him to do for you to let this go?’ ’ He just has to apologize and call me pretty big sister.’ she grinned. The old man looked at him.

Ved gritted his teeth ’ I’m sorry.’ ’ Yeeees’ ’ I’m sorry pretty big sister ’ She smiled with satisfaction. ’ Good boy.’ He gritted his teeth and swore he would pay her back for this humiliation.

He didn’t even understand why he felt like apologizing was humiliating but this was another effect of having a dragon bloodline he just didn’t know about.

’ Now then,back to the topic of getting out. This space was created by my ancestor the legendary golden frog of wealth. When he left for war he set conditions for getting in.

He made it so the formation outside will only work with the blood of creatures without essence in them or those with his bloodline. While not perfect it was the best option at that time since there were very few normal animals without essence making them rare.

However there must’ve been some complications because even those with his bloodline were nolonger able to activate it.’ ’ There are a lot of normal animals here, why not use their blood?’

’ Generations of my ancestors tried and it was then that we learnt even that was nolonger possible. Whatever happened to the formation altered it significantly.

We believed it was nolonger possible to leave until you showed up. While you’re a rank 3 I cannot sense any world essence from you which is probably the strangest thing about you but maybe it’s why you were able activate the formation.’

He took a step back. ’Sorry to bust your bubble mate but it wasn’t me who activated the formation, it was a bat. So, I’m sorry but you’ve got the wrong guy, I’m gonna go now.’

’ Wait.’ he stopped. ’ I understand why you would be cautious but we mean you no harm.’ ’ Speak for yourself.’ whispered the hippo, the old frog glared at her and she turned her head away.

’ All we need is a tiny drop of your blood, even if does not work it’s still work a try, besides this formation is the only way out. You will be trapped here as well.’

’ One question, now that you know the formation works again why didn’t you use the other normal animals here.’ The frog sighed. ’ I tried, it still didnt work which led me to believe it only worked for you but if you claim you weren’t the one to activate it then maybe it works for those not born here.’

’ But I evolved to rank 3 here, wouldn’t that mean I was technically reborn here?’ ’ Mmmm, that could be an issue but we won’t know until we try.’

Ved sighed and decided to comply,it was not like he would be able to run if the frog wanted to stop him not to mention if it worked with the hippo.

Besides he also wanted to leave this place and if these two were going to harm him they would’ve already or maybe they intended to do it outside but he also might have a better chance of surviving there.

But he would have to be in perfect condition. ’Could you let me rest first?’ ’ Take your time.’ Three days later he was ready, his web and poison had regenerated,he stood at the centre of the formation and just as he was about to drop his blood an annoying voice stopped him.

’ Wait, I can’t leave my clansman.’ ’ Do not worry little girl, I know how to reopen this spatial dimension from the outside, you will not be leaving your clansman.’

Wait spatial dimension? Now that he thought about it the old frog did say this entire space was created by his ancestor. ’ I wonder how powerful that ancestor was.’

Then he dripped a drop of his blood on the formation. The formation lines lit up then his eyesight was covered by a blinding light and they disappeared.

Even before his eyes could adjust he recieved a system notification. ( Warning: Third wave has arrived. The world barrier has been breached. The Vermin of the NAMELESS have descended, prepare for war.)
