Beast Hack: Customizing Beasts and Capturing Beauties
Chapter 111 Kalidorns Battery
Kalidorn was filled with anger. He let out a roar as he drew out his sword. He charged toward Moon. His movements were wild and erractic.
He raised his blade high and was ready to strike. "You''ll regret this, you insolent wench!"
Moon stood calmly. She tilted her head. She smirked under her silver mask. She turned her attention to Loxen. "Loxen. Do it. Shadow Ball. Target the Storm Hawk."
Loxen let our a growl. It began to open its powerful jaws. Shadow energy began to swirl and condense rapidly into a dense sphere.
Moon turned her gaze back to Kalidorn. Her smirk deepened as she stepped forward to meet his charge.
She took out a dagger from her waist. She held it loosely at her side. Her posture was relaxed but she was ready.
Kalidorn''s fury peaked as he closed the distance. He leapt into the air. He was ready to use an overhead strike to cleave Moon in two. "Die, you wretched bitch!"
Moon''s smirk didn''t falter. She raised her dagger and intercepted his sword effortlessly.
Before Kalidorn could recover, Moon twisted her body and drove her knee into his chest, following it up with a brutal kick to his midsection.
Kalidorn staggered back. He stumbled as he kept his balance. He looked at Moon and snarled. "You... you''ll pay for that!"
Moon smirked behind her mask. "Oh, Kalidorn. You talk so much, yet you fight like a child throwing tantrums. It''s time for you to feel some real pain."
She turned to Loxen and smirked. "Loxen, now!"
Loxen''s growl deepened as it snapped its jaws shut to release the shadow ball toward the storm hawk.
The hawk screeched in alarm as it tried to evade, but the attack was too fast. The Shadow Ball struck it and exploded.
The Storm Hawk plummeted to the ground. Its body was trembling from the force of the impact. It let out a weak cry before falling silent.
Kalidorn was in disbelief seeing his beast fall. "No... no! Damn you! I''ll kill you for this!"
"W-what''s happening?!"
"Help! My beast—it''s attacking me!"
The arena descended into chaos. Beasts of all sizes and types rampaged wildly, their roars and cries drowning out the terrified screams of the crowd.
Kalidorn staggered back; his face was pale with disbelief as he watched his Storm Hawk screech and thrash uncontrollably.
The hawk''s feathers crackled with violent arcs of electricity, and its movements were erratic, no longer responding to his commands.
Kalidorn looked at Moon. His body was trembling in anger and fear. He looked at the berserk beasts and Moon back and forward. "What have you done?!"
Moon tilted her head. She was amused by Kalidorn. She looked at Kalidorn. "This is a gift. A gift from my master... and me."
Kalidorn clenched his jaw. He was angry and tried to move, but he could not. "Your master?! Who dares—"
Moon interrupted him with a chuckle. She slowly raised her hands to the edges of her mask. "Oh, Kalidorn. Don''t you recognize me?"
With a single fluid motion, she removed the silver mask, revealing her face beneath. The pale moonlight illuminated her silver hair and eyes, which now gleamed with cold satisfaction.
Kalidorn was so shocked. He could not really say anything. He tried to process the sight before him. "You... you''re... Sadrina?"
The girl his family had sold into slavery now stood before him, commanding a power he could not comprehend.
Luna—no longer Sadrina—smirked. She tilted her head slightly. "Surprised? You should be. But as you know, I am Luna now. That weak, discarded girl you threw away? She''s gone."
Kalidorn''s disbelief quickly turned to fury. "How?! How can you tame beasts? What have you done to them?"
Luna chuckled. "Oh Kalidorn. Don''t bother trying to understand. Just know this: my master and I planned this perfectly. Ninety days was all it took. The Garran family is officially over."
Kalidorn''s face twisted into a mask of rage. Unfortunately, he could not move at all as he was too weak from the adjustment. "I''ll kill you!"
