CHAPTER 24: CHAPTER : 24 : FLOOR 1!
The moment Aiden and Luna stepped through the glowing portal, the world around them shifted.
Gone was the warmth of the garden, the breeze rustling through the flowers and the scent of flowers. Instead, they were greeted by a cold, echoing emptiness and flickering overhead lights. The floor beneath them was not stone or grass—but smooth concrete tiles, dull gray and slightly cracked. Faint fluorescent lights buzzed overhead, hanging from a ceiling wrapped in dust-covered pipes.
Luna blinked, her ears twitching and tail brushing nervously against Aiden’s leg.
"W-Where... where are we?" she asked softly, her voice echoing eerily down the tunnel.
Aiden narrowed his eyes, his boots crunching lightly against stray gravel and dirt as he looked around.
Posters—faded and torn—lined the walls. Benches sat on either side of the narrow platform. And behind them, massive steel tracks stretched endlessly into the darkness.
Aiden’s lips parted slightly in awe. "...Is this a subway?"
"Sub...way?" Luna repeated, confused.
Aiden ran a hand through his hair. "It’s... a kind of underground transport system. But this place... it’s so quiet. Dead."
Luna slowly stepped beside him, heels clicking softly. She tilted her head, taking in the strange iron poles and the signs with strange markings she couldn’t read.
"I’ve never seen a place like this," she murmured, clinging to his arm. "It’s so... cold and lifeless. Like no one’s been here in centuries."
Aiden turned toward her, only to find her gazing at him, her sapphire eyes reflecting the dim lights.
"Are you scared?" he asked gently.
She smiled faintly. "No. Not with Master beside me."
Then she stood on her toes and cradled the back of his neck with both hands, pulling him into a deep, sensual kiss.
Her lips were soft and warm, a stark contrast to the chill of the dungeon air. Her tail swayed behind her, wrapping around Aiden’s thigh. Her body pressed against his, her generous chest molded to his front, and she kissed him like she didn’t want to ever stop.
Aiden groaned into the kiss, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her tighter. Their bodies melted into each other, their breaths mingling, their heartbeats syncing in rhythm.
When they finally parted, a soft string of saliva connected their lips before Luna giggled, flushed and glowing.
"At last," she whispered, brushing her lips against his jaw. "We’re alone again..."
Aiden smirked. "You say that like we just escaped from a prison."
"More like a harem," Luna teased, though her blush deepened. "I don’t like sharing you, Master..."
"I noticed," he chuckled, nipping at her ear.
She squirmed against him, cheeks burning. "S-Stop that... I’m still sore from last night..."
"Oh?" Aiden raised a brow. "Yet you’re the one kissing me like you want to get laid right here, right now."
Luna’s face turned beet red. "M-Master!! I-I was just happy to be with you!"
"But you’re not denying it," he teased further.
She pouted, her tail flicking anxiously. "T-There’s no bed here, you know..."
Aiden leaned down, whispering against her lips. "There’s a bench."
Luna gasped. "W-We’re in a dungeon!"
"I know," Aiden grinned, clearly enjoying himself. "But hey... technically, we’re supposed to test the limits of our bond, right? Might as well test our stamina before the monsters show up."
"Y-You’re awful!" she squeaked, swatting his chest weakly, even as her arms clung tighter to his neck.
He pulled her back into another kiss, slow and affectionate this time, and Luna melted again, her body trembling with excitement.
Their lips parted again, her breath shaky. "I... I missed this. Just the two of us. No one watching, no one interrupting."
"You say that," Aiden smirked, "but the last time we were ’alone,’ a certain goblin girl woke up mid-kiss."
Luna groaned in embarrassment. "D-Don’t remind me! I wanted to disappear into the mattress..."
Aiden laughed. "You looked cute, hiding under the blanket."
She buried her face in his chest. "I’m never going to live that down."
He kissed the top of her head, his fingers stroking the base of her tail.
"Mmm~ Master..." she murmured, tail flicking excitedly again.
"I could get used to this," Aiden whispered. "Fighting monsters, discovering strange places, and making out in train stations."
"Let’s keep the making out part consistent," Luna added dreamily.
He smirked. "You’re needy today."
"I have the right to be!" she pouted. "You wore me out last night and now you’re teasing me non-stop. Of course I want more cuddles!"
Aiden chuckled, tugging her close again, their foreheads touching.
Then—
"ONII-CHAAAAAN!!"
Aiden and Luna both jumped, spinning around toward the portal.
Through the shimmering blue light came a small figure stumbling forward.
Ivy.
She ran straight toward them, her arms open, panic on her face.
"Ivy?!" Aiden called, already stepping forward, arms outstretched.
Before he could reach her, another voice echoed from the portal.
"Ivy! Wait!!"
It was Lysandra.
Aiden blinked. "You’ve got to be kidding me."
Luna groaned, pressing a hand to her face. "We were alone for two minutes..."
Aiden sighed, but there was affection in his eyes. "They never listen."
Lysandra burst through the portal a second later, panting and clearly flustered.
"I swear—I was only chasing after Ivy!" she shouted defensively. "I wasn’t trying to follow you!"
Aiden raised an eyebrow. "Uh huh."
Luna smirked. "You’re blushing, Princess~"
Lysandra’s cheeks flushed even harder. "I-It’s just warm in here!"
"In a creepy underground subway?" Aiden asked, amused.
"I-It’s... stuffy! And what’s a subway?" she snapped.
Then—
A screech.
A blood-chilling, inhuman screech echoed through the tunnel.
They all froze.
From above—no, from the ceiling itself—something dropped.
A massive spider-like creature landed with a sickening thud in front of Ivy.
Its carapace gleamed in the dim light, and its multiple red eyes locked onto the little goblin girl.
Ivy stopped in her tracks, her entire body frozen. Her wide, tear-filled eyes stared at the monster. Her lips trembled, but no sound came out.
Then—
"O-Onii...Chan...!!" she screamed.
Her scream echoed down the tunnel, shattering the silence.
Aiden’s expression turned cold instantly. His hand shot to his side, summoning his dagger in a flash of light.
"Luna, get her!" he shouted.
"I’m on it!" Luna responded immediately, dashing forward with her claws glowing.
Lysandra, wide-eyed, could only whisper in horror. "Goddess above..."
The first floor of the 100-Floor Dungeon... had just begun.
