CHAPTER 46: CHAPTER : 46 : DRAGOMOM!

The group stood before the biggest damn set of doors they’d seen in the dungeon so far.

And "big" was underselling it. This thing was titanic. At least twenty feet high, thick enough to make a castle gate look like a closet door, with engraved scales and fanged dragon heads carved into the wood and reinforced with blackened steel bands. Every etching seemed to radiate an ancient, predatory pressure, like the doors themselves were daring anyone to come inside.

Lysandra tilted her head back, scanning the height. "If the gate’s this tall... just how big is the dungeon boss?"

Her voice had that tight, slightly breathless edge — the kind of tone someone uses when they don’t want to admit they’re nervous.

Luna smirked. "Don’t tell me you’re getting scared already, Princess." She leaned slightly, hands on hips, flashing the kind of teasing smile Lysandra absolutely loathed.

Lysandra’s lips tightened. Instead of snapping back, she stepped closer to Aiden and, with the most casual possessiveness in the world, hooked her arm through his. "Why would I be scared... when my husband will be there to protect me?"

Luna’s smirk twitched into something sharper. She didn’t argue — instead she slid in on Aiden’s other side, hooking onto his free arm and resting her head on his shoulder. "Damn right, Princess."

Aiden sighed, but he didn’t pull away from either of them. The way they latched on, you’d think they were competing for a limited seat on the last lifeboat. But there was something reassuring about it, too — like no matter what came through that door, he would protect them.

From the side, Ivy was staring dead ahead at the towering gate. "Fluffynugget, you got any idea what’s inside?"

The little floating puffball did a midair flip, tail streaming behind it, and chirped, "Mii~"

That could mean anything from yes to I just thought about carrots.

"Right..." Ivy muttered.

Aiden rolled his shoulders, already stepping forward. "Okay... girls. Back to work." His hands pressed against the massive door — muscles flexing as he pushed. The ancient hinges groaned, stone grinding against stone, and the air beyond spilled out like a cold, dry breath from something that had been waiting a very long time.

The moment the gap widened enough, their heartbeats picked up. When the doors finally swung all the way open, they stepped into the boss chamber.

The torches lining the walls flared to life one after another, fwump fwump fwump, until the vast hall was bathed in a flickering orange glow.

The room was massive. Square pillars thick as towers lined the corners and halfway points, each carved with runes depicting dragon battles. The ceiling soared high above them, vanishing into shadow, with faint chains dangling like ornaments of some forgotten execution ground. The air was heavy, the acoustics so perfect that every step echoed three times before fading.

"Ohhh..." Luna’s voice bounced off the walls, making her sound like three Lunas talking at once. She grinned, clearly impressed.

Then the sound came.

BOOM.

Something huge slammed into the center of the hall hard enough to shake dust from the rafters. The shockwave rattled their bones, and Aiden instinctively stepped forward, putting himself between the girls and whatever had just dropped in.

"What the hell was that?" Ivy shouted over the ringing in her ears.

"Maybe the boss?" Aiden replied, eyes narrowing.

As the dust cleared, they saw her.

And damn, she was impossible to miss.

A giant woman — no, a towering dragonkin hybrid — stood in the center of the hall. Easily fifteen feet tall, her body covered in sleek, black-glowing scales that shimmered like obsidian catching moonlight. Power radiated off her in visible waves, distorting the air.

Her face was sharp and proud, framed by long, black hair streaked with molten-gold strands. Twin horns curved back from her temples, ridged and tipped with a faint ember glow. Her eyes burned like molten lava, locked on them with a mixture of anger and... hunger.

And then there was the rest of her.

A massive, muscular yet strikingly feminine frame — the kind of build that said she could actually punch a mountain in half. Her hips flared wide, her abs were sculpted like armor, and her breasts... well... proportionate to her massive size. And — because apparently dungeon bosses had no concept of modesty — she was completely nude. The scales stopped in strategic (but not complete) patterns, leaving her most intimate parts utterly exposed, as if clothing was some bizarre foreign concept. It was livivng Dragon MILF. A Dragomom.

A thick, muscular dragon tail extended from the base of her spine, lashing against the stone floor with enough force to make the whole room tremble.

"Oh for— do none of these bosses have any modesty?!" Lysandra shouted, throwing both arms up.

"Don’t think they do," Aiden said flatly.

The dragon woman took one slow step toward them — and even that made her breasts sway with the weight of movement, the subtle jiggle matched by the dangerous rippling of the muscles in her thighs.

Then she roared.

Not just a loud sound — this was a shockwave. The scream hit like a physical wall, rippling the air, making the torches flicker and sending loose dust flying. Everyone except Aiden and Fluffynugget immediately clamped their hands over their ears.

"Move—!" Aiden started to bark.

He didn’t get to finish.

The boss’s leg shot out like a piston. The kick slammed into Aiden’s ribs with bone-cracking force. He felt the air blasted from his lungs as he was launched across the hall, slamming into one of the massive pillars hard enough to crater it. The impact rang in his skull, and for a split second, the world blurred.

The others froze, stunned. That speed. That power. They hadn’t even seen her wind up.

"AIDEN!" three voices screamed at once.

Fluffynugget zipped forward in a blur, little body wreathed in crackling golden light. With a surprisingly vicious war-cry — "MIIIII!" — the puffball slammed into the dragon woman’s stomach like a living cannonball.

The impact made the boss grunt and stumble back half a step, tail digging into the stone for balance. Her eyes snapped down to the tiny creature, nostrils flaring.

What followed looked absurdly like an anime brawl. Fluffynugget darted around her at insane speed, delivering rapid-fire headbutts, tail whips, and dive-bomb strikes to her knees, ribs, and jaw. The boss’s counter-swipes were fast but Fluffy was faster, weaving through her arms like a glowing bee that really hated her guts.

"Holy crap, Fluffynugget’s actually holding her off!" Ivy gaped.

Taking the distraction, the girls sprinted toward where Aiden had cratered the pillar. He was already getting up, one arm holding his ribs, but his eyes were locked on the fight with a razor focus.

"You alright?!" they asked in unison.

"Yeah," he grunted, catching his breath. "She’s strong... but I can take her."

As if on cue, a translucent, blue-tinted panel blinked into existence in front of him — sleeker than usual, with glowing circuit-like lines dancing across it.

Aiden’s lips curved into a grin. "Oh... that’s perfect."

He turned his head. "Ly, come here."

Lysandra blinked but stepped forward without hesitation. "What are you—"

He pulled her in and kissed her.

Her eyes went wide for a heartbeat before she melted into it, her hands bracing lightly on his chest. When he finally pulled back, her face was pink and she looked... well, a little dazed.

"Hey! I want a turn too!" Luna yelled from a few steps away, tail flicking.

"Jeez... even here?" Lysandra muttered, still flushed.

Aiden smirked, then turned toward the boss, raising one hand. "Crystalline Barrier!"

A wall of shimmering blue crystal erupted into existence between them and the boss’s path — a perfect replica of Lysandra’s magic, down to the faint runes glowing along its surface.

Lysandra blinked at it, jaw dropping. "T-That’s my spell! How—?!"

"Don’t worry about it," Aiden said with a smug grin. "Just think of it as your husband leaning on you for a bit."

Her blush deepened but she didn’t argue.

The boss, now fully aware of him again, flexed her claws and started toward them ignoring Fluffynugget, tail swaying. Each heavy step made her chest shift slightly, her muscles rippling under the black scales, her eyes locked in with predatory intent.

Aiden rolled his neck, letting the barrier fade. "Alright, girls... let’s dance."
