"What is it?" His lips pressed even tighter, and his muscles tensed.

"Earlier, I told the gecko that I didn’t love you. That’s not true. I..."

But then, the young man before her suddenly stood up.

He pulled her into his embrace, preventing her from saying more.

He tenderly kissed her eyelids.
