CHAPTER 288: CHAPTER 279 JIN SISSHA’S BAD LUCK BEGINS_1

Jin Yang, the fourth son of the Golden Dragon Clan, returned to the cave and happened to hear his brothers’ anxious voices as they surrounded Jin Yao.

Hearing the voices inside, Jin Yang couldn’t suppress the memories of his past actions. He too had been so easily swayed and biased. He too had shown such favoritism toward Jin Yao. When Jin Yao lied to her brothers, they couldn’t see it. When Jin Yao shifted the blame to Si Yan, they couldn’t see it either. All they saw was Jin Yao crying, looking beautiful and pitiful.

"It’s all Si Yan’s doing. I’ll go find her!" Jin Kun bellowed as he stormed out of the cave.

Jin Yang grabbed Jin Kun by the arm. "Third Brother!"

"Jin Yang, what are you doing here? Why are you stopping me?" Jin Kun asked anxiously.

The strange feeling in Jin Yang’s heart intensified.

He held Jin Kun back, whispering, "Si Yan is pregnant; don’t go disturbing her."

Jin Kun said mockingly, "Fourth Brother! Si Yan is just pregnant, but Jin Yao’s belly is about to burst!"

Jin Yang was taken aback. For some reason, Jin Kun’s words sounded eerily familiar, almost like something I’d said myself in the past.

"Fourth Brother, move aside! Yao Yao is in so much pain, don’t you feel for her at all?!"

Jin Yang looked at Jin Yao. Somehow, I just don’t feel as heartbroken for her as I used to.

Jin Yang said, "We’re still in the middle of a competition; the timing is sensitive. Si Yan and her group’s performance is the best. If we go looking for trouble with her now, outsiders might say our Golden Dragon Clan would resort to any means to win."

Jin Kun retorted recklessly, "It’s just a competition! Is it more important than Yao Yao?! She’s in so much pain!"

Jin Yang asked, "The Witch Doctors are out of options?"

Jin Yang said softly, "Third Brother, you still don’t have the full story. Don’t talk about Si Yan like that."

Jin Kun insisted, "I still have to find Si Yan! Yao Yao could really die from this pain!"

Jin Yang, still held back by Jin Tong, looked up and saw Si Yan.

A breeze blew, as if it carried all the warm and beautiful colors straight to Si Yan. Her hair was black, and so were her eyes. Her smiling eyes were curved, making her look especially cute and pretty. Her nose was small and well-defined, her lips soft and tender, and her small face was fair and rosy. Even her swollen belly seemed to be enveloped in a lovely glow.

Jin Yang felt his heart begin to pound in his chest.

Gazing at Si Yan in a daze, he thought to himself. My little sister... how can she be so adorable?
