CHAPTER 223: CHAPTER 61: HIDING WITH WANG MANMAN IN THE CLOSET

"I think you’re asking for a spanking, daring to fish in my pond."

Then Yun Yuqing’s bottom suffered again.

After a bout of playful fighting, she obediently returned to her room.

The next day, he rushed off to the villa without a moment’s rest to feed the three sisters. That’s right, Lu Qingyun had already returned from her hometown, bringing quite a few local specialties for him. After finishing the local specialties, he started on her. The two hadn’t seen each other in a long time, and the other two sisters tacitly left the remaining time to their youngest sister.

"Is everything settled at home?" Sun Dasheng asked.

Lu Qingyun nodded happily. "I took half of the one million you gave me and had my parents demolish our old house to rebuild it."

"Is that enough money?" Sun Dasheng asked.

"That amount wouldn’t even cover a down payment in a big city, but it’s enough to build a beautiful two-story house back home. If they run short during the renovation, I’ll send more. I just didn’t want to give them too much at once, for fear of attracting unwanted attention," Lu Qingyun explained.

"Hmm, you’re so careful and thoughtful. No wonder you’re an accountant," he said, grabbing her twin pigtails as he began to move.

"Mmm... Mmm..." Lu Qingyun’s voice gradually trailed off, and soon, only the sound of heavy breathing could be heard.

「...」

「On the third day, Sun Dasheng arrived at his final stop: Wang Manman’s home.」

When he arrived, Wang Manman was teaching her daughter to identify words from picture cards. Seeing him, the little girl was even happier than her mother and threw herself at him.

"Uncle, hug!"

"Oof, Nan Nan, you’ve gotten heavier since last time," Sun Dasheng said, easily lifting her with one arm.

"Did you miss Uncle?"

"I did!" Nan Nan kissed him on the cheek.

"Did Uncle come to take Nan Nan out to play?"

It’s in a child’s nature to be playful, and they’ll naturally grow close to anyone who takes them out to play.

"This little imp," Wang Manman said with a smile from the side. "When you’re not here, all she does is talk about when Uncle Sun is coming. She’s just hoping you’ll take her out to play."

Sun Dasheng figured she was using her daughter’s words to complain that it had been a long time since his last visit. He moved closer and stealthily reached a hand behind her, giving her plump bottom a squeeze.

Startled, her heart nearly leaped from her chest. She glanced at her daughter, relieved to see the little girl completely absorbed by the small toy he had brought.

"You’ll be the death of me! The child is still here," she whispered.

"When does she go to sleep?" Sun Dasheng whispered back.

Wang Manman glanced at the clock on the living room wall. It was eight in the evening. "She should be asleep in about half an hour."

"Got it," he replied.

Sun Dasheng then turned to the little girl in his arms.

"Nan Nan, how about we play a game of hide-and-seek?"

"Yes, yes!" The little one met his suggestion with great enthusiasm.

Sun Dasheng set her down. "Okay, close your eyes, count to ten right here, and the game will start."

"Okay! Uncle, you and Mom better hide well, or Nan Nan will find you really quickly!"

The little girl obediently turned her back to them and began to count out loud.

Sun Dasheng grabbed Wang Manman, who was still standing there in a daze. "What are you waiting for? Let’s find a place to hide. We don’t have much time."

Wang Manman couldn’t believe his sudden burst of childishness. Was he really going to play such an immature game with a child?

"Come on, where’s a good place to hide? Preferably somewhere big enough for two," Sun Dasheng urged.

She finally snapped out of it. With a complicated expression, she said, "The closet, I guess. No other place has enough space for two people."

"Alright, let’s hurry."

They went into the bedroom closet. The space was actually quite large, but it was so filled with clothes that they were forced to squeeze into a corner. However, the clothes also served as a shield, obscuring the view and making them harder to find.

After the little girl finished counting to ten, she began her earnest search. She spent a long time checking the living room, the kitchen, and the bathroom, but found no one. Then, she opened the door to her mother’s bedroom.

"Mommy, Uncle, are you in here?"

At such a young age, she had already learned the classic strategy of beating the grass to startle the snake. Unfortunately for her, the two "snakes" she hoped to startle were tangled together in the closet, already ablaze with passion.

The closet was dark and cramped. Before long, the small space was filled with a charged atmosphere.

The inevitable happened.

"No, stop!" Wang Manman pushed his head away from her chest.

"What’s wrong?" Sun Dasheng asked, puzzled.

Getting interrupted right in the heat of the moment was not a pleasant feeling.

Wang Manman shot him an exasperated look. "I heard Nan Nan’s voice. I think she’s in the room."

"So what? It’s fine. She won’t find us in here." With that, Sun Dasheng buried his head and resumed his work.

His actions elicited a series of soft moans from Wang Manman.

Though their movements were gentle, the closet still trembled slightly.

The little girl walked up to the closet and stopped, as if she had heard something. She tapped on the closet door and called out loudly, "Mommy, Uncle, are you hiding in here?"

Wang Manman, who had been enthusiastically clutching his head to her chest, snapped to her senses. "No, stop! Brother Sun, stop moving! I think Nan Nan heard us."

Sun Dasheng stopped as well, no longer forcing the issue.

The next moment, Wang Manman’s heart nearly leaped from her chest as the closet door creaked open. Fortunately, it was a very deep closet, and their hiding spot was completely obscured by the rows of hanging clothes in front. The little girl didn’t see them, and she closed the closet door again.

"Weird... where did Uncle and Mommy hide?" she muttered to herself.

The sound of her footsteps faded as she left the room.

「...」

After a while, the little girl still hadn’t found anyone and, in desperation, yelled, "I give up!"

Her mommy and uncle finally emerged—from her mother’s bedroom.
