Becoming a Billionaire after Divorce
Chapter 359 - 107 Elevator War God Liu Qianqian!
CHAPTER 359: CHAPTER 107 ELEVATOR WAR GOD LIU QIANQIAN!
The distraught woman was none other than Liu Qianqian, who had vied for attention with Ding Muchen at a school banquet. As a stunning mixed-race beauty, she had never tasted defeat twice at the hands of the same person, especially not such a complete and utter one.
She had thought her little smear piece would completely ruin Ding Muchen, or at the very least, leave her ostracized and condemned by all. However, she never expected the clever plan to backfire so spectacularly.
Not only did Ding Muchen suffer no harm, but she was met with a chorus of praise and envy instead. Liu Qianqian stewed over it, reflecting on her failure. Are all the students at this school idiots? I exposed her dirty laundry for everyone to see, so why aren’t they criticizing her? My post had plenty of pictures and text. Where exactly did it fall short compared to those smear pieces from the Little Fairies online?
But she failed to consider one crucial point. It was thanks to Teacher Ding’s hard work that students from a vocational art school like theirs—performers often looked down upon and loathed within the entertainment industry—had a rare opportunity to land a professional job in their field right after graduation. It was a chance that many alumni before them could only envy.
So how could they possibly be ungrateful enough to slander the two people being celebrated on the campus confession wall? If anything, they couldn’t praise them enough.
She had intended to log into a few alternate accounts to stir up some drama, but she soon discovered that the post had been deleted by the administrator and her account had been muted. "Damn it!" Liu Qianqian flew into a rage once more.
After venting, she consoled herself. It’s fine. As long as Ding Muchen saw the post, it served its purpose. Heh, if it managed to piss her off, then it’s a success.
Leaving the teachers’ apartment, she unwittingly wandered back to the small grove. There, she witnessed a scene that made her seethe with rage: the two of them were acting lovey-dovey, completely oblivious to the recent online storm. Isn’t this just a wasted effort, like winking at a blind man? Damn it all! Ding Muchen, have you no shame? How can you just sit on a man’s lap like that? In broad daylight! Our school won’t tolerate such a brazen teacher!
She deliberately coughed a few times to announce her presence and walked toward them. To her surprise, they both glanced at her in unison before looking away and simply resuming what they were doing. This drove her absolutely mad; the feeling of being utterly ignored washed over her once again.
"Teacher Ding, isn’t it a bit inappropriate to be doing this at school during the day?" Liu Qianqian finally couldn’t help but speak up.
"What are you implying, Teacher Liu?" Ding Muchen’s retort cut off whatever else she was about to say. "Are teachers not allowed to date at school?"
"So, are you saying President Sun is your boyfriend?" Liu Qianqian thought she had found an angle of attack. This man she coveted is definitely not single. He would never go along with what Ding Muchen just said. That means she’s about to be utterly humiliated! The thought of Ding Muchen’s impending embarrassment almost made her laugh out loud.
Just when she felt her victory was assured, the man unexpectedly nodded. "Muchen is my girlfriend now. We’re dating. Is there a problem?"
Liu Qianqian was stunned. What? He just admitted it? Isn’t he afraid I’ll spread this around? Isn’t he worried about the woman he has at home causing a scene?
She had always imagined Sun Dasheng as a man who relied on a woman’s capital for his success. (And to be fair, many tycoons did rise this way, so her assumption wasn’t entirely unfounded.)
As it turned out, she was completely wrong.
At this realization, her gaze on the man grew even more intense. His declaration proved he had built his fortune from scratch, a true self-made, first-generation millionaire, right? If so, the man she had mentally categorized as merely a high-quality, T1-tier prize had just been upgraded. He was now a scorching-hot, best-of-the-best, T0-tier dream man. Her jealousy toward Ding Muchen deepened.
Why? Our looks are on par; we’re both considered the most beautiful teachers at the school. Why does he favor you and not me?
She was nearly driven mad by jealousy. However, as a teacher who had graduated from performance studies, just like Ding Muchen, she had excellent professional control. The complex storm of emotions vanished from her face in an instant, replaced by a standard, practiced smile. "Muchen, President Sun, you’ve misunderstood me."
"I didn’t mean anything by it. I just wanted to remind you. After all, there are many eyes around the school, and the students are a mixed bag. If some student with poor character were to record this and post it online, it would surely start another round of nasty rumors."
What a move. She pinned the blame for what she had just done onto some nonexistent student. Even the Little Fairies who mastered the art of the online smear piece would have to call her their founding master.
Ding Muchen looked at Liu Qianqian’s smiling, seemingly concerned face and couldn’t help but wonder, Did I misjudge her before?
"In any case, thank you for the reminder," she said. "But I have the situation under control."
"Heh... well then, you two carry on. I won’t disturb you anymore." Liu Qianqian smiled and turned to leave. The moment her back was turned, however, the raw jealousy on her face was impossible to hide.
"She’s gone. What are you still looking at?" Ding Muchen said, feeling a little jealous. She reached out and gave his thigh a pinch.
Sun Dasheng pulled his gaze back. "Nothing. It just felt a bit strange."
"Hmph! Strange, my foot. Your eyes were glued to her. Have you taken a fancy to her? Should I send you her WeChat?"
