CHAPTER 136: CHAPTER 136: PRETENDING TO BE A DOCTOR TO SEE HER

Jin Yingzi leaves, and Zhan Hanjue returns.

As they pass by each other, Jin Yingzi nods slightly to greet Zhan Hanjue, but Zhan Hanjue doesn’t even glance at her.

Zhan Hanjue’s eyes deepen: "Are you angry with me because of him?"

"Shouldn’t I be angry?" Ye Ningwan retorts angrily. "I’ve already told you, there’s nothing between Wen Jianan and me. He went to find me in the mountains purely because he is the class monitor, responsible for every student in the class. Why are you jealous, making him suspend classes? How am I supposed to get along with classmates in the future?"

"Do you really think he treats you as just a classmate?" Zhan Hanjue sneers coldly.

"And if not?" Ye Ningwan questions back, "What else could there be besides a classmate relationship?"

Zhan Hanjue sneers again but says nothing.

His silence makes Ye Ningwan even angrier: "You wrongly accused him, which actually means you don’t trust me. Suspending him, do you suspect I’m having an affair with him? Zhan Hanjue, that’s too much."

"You think I’m too much?"

Zhan Hanjue stands up, face darkening.

Ye Ningwan looks up coldly: "I and he are innocent; your suspicion of something else is excessive. Excessive not just towards him, but towards me too."

"You think it’s excessive, then it’s excessive! I’m just such an excessive person." Zhan Hanjue says coldly.

With that, he turns and leaves.

Ye Ningwan: "..."

What exactly is he angry about?

"Taotao, can you find out about Wen Jianan’s suspension for me?"
