Ye Ningwan woke up, neither eating nor drinking, silent and unresponsive.

"We’ll stay with sister," Ye Shao consoled, putting his arm around Wu Taotao’s shoulder.

However, after Jin Yingzi hung up with Wu Taotao, she hurriedly walked into the café.

Inside the café, a man wearing a hat and sunglasses was sitting.

When the man saw her approach, he took off the sunglasses.

Chen Tan smiled wryly, "I didn’t expect Miss Jin to joke around."

Jin Yingzi asked, "What does Special Assistant Chen want with me?"

Chen Tan said, "I know you were involved in Miss Ye’s meeting with the boss yesterday."

Chen Tan said, "I mean, maybe the boss doesn’t have complete memories. I’m saying he might have forgotten some things, so I’m wondering if his attitude towards Miss Ye is related to what he’s forgotten?"

"Thank you, Special Assistant Chen!" Jin Yingzi expressed her gratitude.

Chen Tan smiled wryly, put on his sunglasses, stood up, and left with her.

Wu Taotao was surprised when Jin Yingzi not only came but also brought Chen Tan along.

Indeed, seeing Chen Tan, Ye Ningwan finally reacted.

Chen Tan repeated everything he had told Jin Yingzi to Ye Ningwan.

"Miss Ye, this is all I know. I’m not sure if this information will help you," he said.

"Thank you, Special Assistant Chen. I know what to do now," Ye Ningwan murmured.

Wu Taotao quickly asked, "Ningning, what are you planning to do?"

Ye Ningwan didn’t tell her but apologized instead, "Taotao, I’m sorry for worrying you all. I’m okay now, and you should go back and rest after a day’s work on my behalf. Special Assistant Chen, thank you for today. Yingzi, could you see him out?"

Jin Yingzi nodded and saw Chen Tan out.

Once in the car, Chen Tan rolled down the window and looked at Jin Yingzi, "Miss Jin, are you doing well in life now?"

Jin Yingzi was startled, nodded, "Yes, very well."

Chen Tan bowed his head with a wry smile, then closed the window and drove away.

Jin Yingzi frowned, puzzled by Chen Tan’s inexplicable question.

However, she didn’t dwell on it and turned to walk towards the bus stop.
