Becoming the Richest by Farming
Chapter 164 - 164 0164 Lesson_1
Chapter 164: 0164 Lesson_1 Chapter 164: 0164 Lesson_1 David Wood glanced at the video and still found it a sight for sore eyes, so he turned it off.
He looked at the number with a dark expression on his face.
Others might not know, but how could he be unaware?
The fact that the other party dared to send the video over meant that if it were made public, it would be a huge joke.
Not to mention that Edward didn’t bother to deal with it.
He asked Daisy with some deep meaning, “Does that person know your sister?”
Daisy also nodded, “Probably knows her, they talked.”
It seemed like their relationship was not ordinary.
Carol Sean immediately started making a scene, “Did you hear that, did you hear that, it’s definitely some outsider he’s kept, she doesn’t care about her younger brother at all, even teaming up with strangers to bully him, and actually leaving Edward hanging from a tree, for an hour, one whole hour.”
Edward showed his wrists just in time, crying, “Grandma, look at my hands.”
Having been hung for an hour, his hands were genuinely rubbed raw.
The crux of the matter was Ruffy’s malicious intent to hang him up and then let him down intermittently, solely to prevent Edward from passing out from the pain.
It was both a psychological and physiological torment, he was so angry he could have exploded.
“My dear grandson!”
Carol Sean hugged Edward and cried, and Olivia Johnson, seeing this, was so furious her teeth itched and she twisted Daniel’s arm.
Daniel Wood could only give a bitter smile and look towards David Wood, “Dad, about this matter…”
“First, go check who this person is.”
David Wood didn’t act rashly but also glared at Carol Sean, “Don’t go to that village or go looking for her trouble. She hasn’t come back home, and she’s on a program now. We don’t have a leg to stand on, understand?!”
Carol Sean just wiped her tears and looked at Edward, but her heart was filled with venomous hate for that granddaughter she had never met.
She blamed Ellen entirely for Edward’s current misfortune.

Ellen couldn’t care less about whether Edward made a fuss after going back home, as she was enjoying her time in her own village.
But Lucy Wood still made a strange call to Ellen, “I heard Edward came to the village to find you?”
Ellen casually said, “I only caught a glimpse of him from afar, hanging from a tree, but I didn’t see it clearly.”
Lucy Wood: “…”
Ellen’s remark was nonchalant; Lucy laughed, “I heard someone dealt with him, his grandmother even called to tattle on me. Daisy said it was Edward who caused the trouble himself, who is the person who taught Edward a lesson?”
“A friend I know,” Ellen didn’t deny Ruffy’s involvement, “Any reaction from the Wood family?”
“How could there not be? They were livid when they called me. I told them if they don’t want the media to find out, don’t come to me. That shut them up a bit.”
They even wanted her to admonish Ellen, but she didn’t listen and hung up the phone.
Anyway, her last outburst at the Wood family was pretty much a falling-out, and now she didn’t feel like dealing with it anymore.
Ellen just said “Oh” and didn’t comment on the matter, but Lucy probed, “Will it affect that person? Considering how spoiled Edward is by Grandma and Mom, I guess they must be going crazy.”
“Not my problem.”
Ellen had no intention of getting involved in the affair. Edward had offended Ruffy, not her.
How Ruffy chose to deal with Edward was his business; it was as if he was dealing with a stranger who had nothing to do with Ellen. How could she interfere?
Lucy acknowledged, asked a few more questions, and then hung up the phone.
