Chapter 300
CHAPTER 300: CHAPTER 300
Seeing the scene before her, Little Hua felt a slight fear. She instinctively took a step back, only to have her hair yanked by Master Yin.
The pain and pull forced her to follow Master Yin’s steps to the edge of the large pit. Perhaps it was the scent of fresh human, but the insects in the pit grew increasingly restless.
"The bloodline of the Shui Family’s Saintess will surely nourish this Miaojiang Holy Gu, but with your small frame, I doubt it would even fill the gaps between its teeth," Master Yin said, dragging Little Hua away from the pit and towards a corner where an old, bloodstained chair sat.
He picked her up and placed her onto the chair, where locks were affixed on the armrests. They could even adjust to restrain Little Hua’s slender little wrists.
Little Hua just observed everything around her in bewilderment, not saying a word.
"Are you angry, Little Hua? Daddy brought you here, are you angry?" Master Yin lightly caressed Little Hua’s cheek, speaking with a unbelievably gentle voice as if truly trying to coax her like a kind father.
Little Hua’s brows furrowed as she stared intensely at Master Yin, seemingly wary of his every move.
"Look, your little hands have turned purple, it must hurt a lot, right?" Master Yin said, plucking a few strands of hair he had yanked from Little Hua earlier from between his fingers, "Your hair was pulled out too, that must’ve hurt a lot as well? Is Daddy very bad?"
Little Hua mimicked the adults and let out a cold snort: "Pah! You’re a bad man, you’re not Daddy! Mother said, I don’t have a Daddy!"
Master Yin’s eyes darkened slightly, but he still wore a kind smile on his face: "Is Little Hua very angry? I caused Little Hua’s mother to die. If it weren’t for me, Little Hua could live happily with her mother forever. Unfortunately, your mother was ungrateful, so I had no choice but to kill her..."
"You’re a bad person!!" Little Hua finally shouted in anger, and a surge of spiritual power erupted from deep within her. However, before the power could take effect, it was completely absorbed by the chair beneath her, transferred elsewhere.
On the other side, something within a small box behind Master Yin faintly flashed.
Little Hua felt a wave of fatigue. Her already tiny body was left without strength, her eyelids drooping. Though her mind kept reminding her of the very dangerous situation she was in, and that she was in front of a bad person, her energy was not enough to keep her conscious.
Soon, Little Hua fell into a deep sleep.
Master Yin stood up, his face full of displeasure: "Useless little thing, not even half as good as Shui Yuhua, and she passed out so quickly."
He turned to inspect the item in the box; it appeared to be something resembling an Elixir. The Elixir emitted a green glow, yet its entirety appeared like a miniature heart. Upon closer inspection, one could even see it pulse slightly.
"But never mind, this little thing has plenty of time, and being so little, with some effort, she’ll definitely never resist in the future. By then, not just the Shui Family, but all of Miaojiang will heed my command. As for that little emperor, he wouldn’t warrant even a glance from me."
Master Yin, speaking to himself, closed the lid of the box again, casting a disdainful glance at the sleeping Little Hua.
"I wonder if things have been dealt with upstairs. A woman at the Golden Core Stage should be easy enough to handle," he said, heading out.
It seems someone’s information was delayed, but it’s reasonable since Chen Muxue had only recently undergone her Tribulation, it’s understandable others aren’t aware.
