I will delete this after I resume posting in two days. I have been feeling unwell the past few days and it has caught up to me quite hard. I will be back soon with the story as usual. Just need to recover from adding some other things on my schedule. In other news, I have started studying to go to law school when I return to the USA in 12 or so months. Wish me luck!

I was already closing my eyes in my dream, almost like I was asleep. But I felt something in the corner of my room. It was watching, breathing, but motionless for some time.

Then there were whispers, unintelligible, but not in any language. Just noises.

It moved, even without seeing, I knew.

Slowly, the thing crawled on me, sharp fingers piercing into my shoulders. Like spines. The pain enough to penetrate past the dream to even when I woke up for some moments.

Then it spoke with a wraps.

"Why are you sleeping? You should wake up."

It continued again.

"Sleeping? Sleeping? Wake up. WAKE UP!"

Then I woke up.
