Bao Jingyan didn’t pay much attention to He Jitang.

But Bao Jingyan had already walked into the inner room.

Just then, little Ci’an woke up, nestled in Su Ruanruan’s arms and called for his uncle.

Bao Jingyan took the little one and gave him a kiss, "You’ll sleep with your aunt and uncle tonight!"

Little Ci’an happily hugged Bao Jingyan tightly, even making a small request.

He Jitang stood outside, in a bad mood!

He admitted that when Bao Jingyan arrived, he had deliberately misled him, but he didn’t expect Bao Jingyan to be entirely indifferent.

Was Bao Jingyan too shrewd, or too good at pretending?

He Jitang couldn’t see through him at all!

Meanwhile, Bao Jingyan happily took He Third Brother’s son back to his own guest room, fed the little guy some boiled water, and instructed Su Ruanruan, "Go take a shower!"

Su Ruanruan felt uneasy, "I don’t have pajamas!"

Bao Jingyan, without a second thought, took off his shirt, "Wear this!"

Spending the night out, Su Ruanruan was not fussy; she took it and went into the bathroom.

The two of them were silent for a long while.

Then Su Ruanruan finally remembered to ask him, "Why aren’t you angry today?"

Bao Jingyan took a cigarette out of his trouser pocket, but considering little Ci’an present, he just twirled it between his fingers.

Hearing her question, he laughed and countered, "What do I have to be angry about? He just undid two buttons!"

His words were unpleasant, and Su Ruanruan lightly punched him.

Bao Jingyan spoke more frankly, "If it were upright men like your second brother or Yin Zhao, I might be a little jealous, but someone like He Jitang doesn’t deserve it!"

He drew her closer, softly speaking, "My Ruanruan wouldn’t like him."
