[BL] Accidentally Becoming the Healer of the Deranged Archduke
Chapter 337: The Noisy Pavillion
CHAPTER 337: THE NOISY PAVILLION
The purple hair bounced all the way as Noxian rushed to Xion’s side.
"Brother! Did you miss me?" Noxian grinned as he plopped on one side of Xion. Three of the four chairs were full now.
Xion’s tense shoulders loosened. "Yeah, how was your training?" He combed the curls that dangled in front of Youngster’s forehead.
"It was fine," Noxian said while subtly giving the lady a warning glance.
He simply rested his head on Xion’s shoulder, trying to keep his brother away from this woman.
Now, Xion might not be aware, but how could Noxian not know? The moment Darius allowed her to enter the castle, he was ready to fight with the Archduke.
How dare he toy with his brother like this?
It was Serena who stopped him. ’It is not something for you to meddle in. Go and learn how to fight properly. That is the only way you can truly protect him.’
He had to bite back the curse dancing on the tip of his tongue when he saw Bianca from afar. Heck, he even left the strangely silent Ray in the barracks to rush here.
But it seemed that he was still a step late. What the heck did this lady tell my brother? Should I ask?
Just then, another pair of footsteps echoed through the pathway.
The otherwise silent pavilion is awfully crowded today. Xion squinted in displeasure.
However, the moment his eyes caught the sight of the blurry figure, his entire face lit up like a 100W bulb.
He waved his hand, not caring that the duvet slid off one of his shoulders.
Bianca’s gaze also lit up when she noticed that she was actually wearing the same color of fabric!
And just like that, the temperature dropped—not because of the snow, but because of the presence that followed.
The devil himself had arrived.
The first thing Darius did after reaching them was to lean down and kiss Xion’s forehead. "So happy to see me?" he teased while carefully covering his baby properly.
While doing so, he easily forced Noxian to lift his head.
Comically, two pairs of eyes, demonic purple and bloody red, both glared at Darius with the same kind of intensity.
"What," the Archduke said slowly, "is going on here?"
"Oh, nothing really," Bianca was the first to reply. "I was mesmerized by such a beautiful coincidence."
The grin on her face didn’t sit well with Darius.
This princess had told him that she was not here to marry him. She only wanted a place to stay safely for the time being, and that she would help them in any way possible.
That was the only reason he had let her in, not to play matchmaking with his Xion.
Yeah, the Archduke had keenly noticed how Bianca’s bloody gaze was practically stitched to Xion’s blue shirt.
Then he looked down at his brown tunic and tsked.
Then, without saying another word he picked the barely eaten dessert and tapped on Xion’s lips with the spoon.
"Open up, darling." Despite knowing that Xion wasn’t good at receiving such kind of terms in public, Darius deliberately used the endearing words. "Let’s feed you now, love. Can’t have you fainting again like last time, hmm?"
Sure enough, the kitten who was super excited to see his human, suddenly widened his eyes, and the red blush crept up to his cheeks.
The only night he fainted was when they were doing the deed!
The dense black lashes lowered in shyness, and yet those rosy lips parted obediently.
"Good boy." Darius watched how Noxian was strangely sitting still and not making any commotion.
Did he finally accept me as his dear brother-in-law? He mused while feeding Xion another spoonful.
"Okay, that’s enough." Xion couldn’t swallow another bite. But it felt nice to have someone who was only focused on him.
"Why are you here?" the kitten asked, looking up at the Archduke with shining eyes. Even without reading his mind, anyone could tell that Xion was happy.
If Xion was happy, then Darius was happy too. To prove it, the Archduke leaned down and licked the corner of Xion’s lips, exactly where the white cream was.
"I missed my husband, and I also wanted to know if you were flirting behind my back," Darius said teasingly but his gaze remained on the blue shirt for a bit longer.
As if he wanted to burn it right that instant.
Xion, on the other hand, felt that he was burning. The barely calm heat rushed to his face and spread to the back of his neck.
He couldn’t even articulate his words so, the fumbling kitten simply buried his face into Darius’ chest.
"Want to go back?" Although it was phrased as a question, the Archduke didn’t wait for Xion to reply. He directly scooped him up before leaving the pavilion.
From beginning to end, he didn’t spare any extra glance to anyone other than Xion.
Bianca’s eyes narrowed at the back of the retreating figure.
His Grace hated Silas. That was a fact known to almost everyone who was aware of the past history between the two.
Many would dismiss it, saying Silas was just a child back then and now they both had grown up. So, there shouldn’t be any grudges.
Regardless, of the efforts of the old king, Silas had still remained the same stupid man-child.
He even had to go as far as picking Bianca who logically should have a grudge against Darius for killing her dear brother.
So, she played right into his royal hands.
Now that she was finally free from the clutches of her family, she only wanted to live for herself and do what she desired the most.
Top on her wish list was to befriend the angel, and now the sweet angel had been taken away by the devil.
How rude.
She scoffed before making her way back to the assigned chambers. It was a long way back.
Black box-
Darius threw Xion on the bed and kissed him. "Let’s remove your shirt."
Then the cloth was ripped away.
Xion: "..." Shameless pervert!
Bianca, thrilled: "Soon I will achieve my goal—to befriend an angel!"
Noxian: "...Did you all forget I’m still here?"
Poor baby could only run back to the barracks for more training.
