CHAPTER 353: A QUICKIE? MAXWELL!

"How do I look?" Andrew asked, nervous, as he turned to face Maxwell. Thomas and Luis had outdone themselves. They already had supplied all of Andrew’s clothes, with the help of Maxwell, and now they were doing this.

Andrew and Maxwell were in a couple’s outfit.

It wasn’t very obvious at first, until you looked closer. Andrew had a dark, almost black red suit on, with a shimmery, sheer dress shirt underneath, a vest that was in the same shade but a little more structured, and a tie in a complimentary red tone. It made Andrew a little uncomfortable, but it was almost so dark that no one could tell it was a red suit.

Conversely, Maxwell was in a suit that looked sheer and sparkly, with a dark, almost black red dress shirt and a vest that complimented it. He had a tie that was sparkly, and thin, and made the man’s dark hair stand out against his pale skin. His blue eyes also popped, and since he had his hair styled to perfection, Andrew just wanted to smother the man in kisses.

Maxwell’s eyes were wide as he scanned his partner, and Andrew watched as the man swallowed and a tentative finger of pheromones reached out to him before Maxwell actually did it.

Maxwell stepped closer to Andrew, choking the man on his pheromones as Andrew’s cock grew unbearably hard in his pants. The man’s touch was careful, gentle, pretending to brush out a wrinkle on Andrew’s jacket that he couldn’t see. Andrew wanted to touch him, especially as Maxwell looked up at him with that look in his eyes.

"Dr. Andrew Knox." Maxwell began. "If I don’t see your cock by the end of the night, I’m going to get very cross with you." Andrew nodded rapidly, in full agreement. The sweetest, prettiest smile crossed Maxwell’s expression and he stood on his toes, pressing a kiss against Andrew’s lips. "I’m glad we are in agreement. Feel free to pull me aside whenever you want to complete that mission." Maxwell was going to make them late.

"Max, we still have to sit in a car with Richard." Andrew breathed and Maxwell chuckled.

"We could take a separate car." He suggested, and Andrew groaned. He raised his head up, taking his eyes away from the tempting man to stare up at the blank, white ceiling. He needed to get himself under control.

"Angel, we are about to meet some people who your family consider important. I do not want to be thinking about how much I want to have my tongue deeper inside of you." Andrew told him, barely able to control himself. Maxwell’s soft chuckle only made it worse.

"You’re already thinking about it." Maxwell accused, and Andrew groaned, louder.

"Yes, but it’s different if we stop halfway versus if I haven’t done it yet. Now, get going downstairs or check up on Richard and see if he needs any help. Some distance at this moment will hopefully get our pheromones under control." Andrew was the strong one right now. He had to be.

The urge to grab Maxwell, tear his clothing off and make sweet, sweet love to him was rocking his body, and they weren’t coming back to the house tonight. They could be as loud, as messy, as aggressive as they wanted tonight. Andrew just needed to make it through the little appetizer before he could get to the main meal. That’s what he needed to tell himself.

Maxwell’s touch faded, and when Andrew looked back at him he found that the other man was pouting. Andrew almost gave in.

"Fine then. I guess I’ll just go help Richard out since someone is being so...stingy." Maxwell told him, glancing over his body again. He knew that he was trying to be angry, and demeaning as he scanned him. It was supposed to be a moment where Andrew felt bad, but instead, Maxwell’s expression softened and he looked...hungry.

His eyes narrowed, his ears turned pink, and he huffed, turning, and stomped out of the bathroom in their bedroom. Andrew heard the door open and slam closed, and Andrew chuckled.

Andrew covered his face with his hand, his shoulders shaking because Maxwell had just thrown a fit over Andrew saying no to any kind of quickie in the car on the way to what was the biggest social event of the season. That Maxwell’s parents hosted.

Andrew couldn’t stop his shoulders from shaking more.

God, he loved the man.

Maxwell was in better spirits after having to actually help Richard get ready. The man wasn’t hopeless, but the suit he’d been given had been a little complicated. It was nothing like what Andrew and Maxwell were wearing, his parents knew better, but Richard was hopeless when it came to ties.

Unlike Andrew, he’d never really been taught, had had Andrew or May there to help him whenever he needed it. He looked embarrassed to have Maxwell tending to him, at least what Andrew had caught when he’d stood in the doorway, watching two of the most important omegas in his life interact.

Once that was done, Maxwell got the text that the driver was there, and everyone hustled to make sure that they had everything they needed. Maxwell had told Andrew that his parents had provided clothes for the room that they were staying in, so he didn’t need to worry about it. Andrew didn’t leave without his i.d., his wallet, or house keys out of habit. Even if he was told he didn’t need to bring anything, he didn’t believe it.

Richard, like Andrew, had opted for contacts as well, and had pulled back his longer hair in a rather nice looking braid. Andrew had shot Maxwell a look, wondering if he had done it, but Maxwell had shaken his head.

Huh. Richard had done that. The more you learn about others.

The ride to the venue was quiet, the driver not saying much either. They did make sure to let Richard know that he was his driver at the end of the night, he was a beta, and he made sure Richard put his contact info into his phone, same with Maxwell and Andrew. Andrew appreciated the higher level of security for Richard’s sake, and had a feeling it was from Thomas and Luis.

Andrew felt his whole throat close up as he looked at the giant, glowing place that was going to be his social debut as Maxwell’s partner. Officially.

It was a giant, glowing dome in the middle of December. Snow glittered in the dark sky, and each light was decorated appropriately for the season and the party as well. Tinsel, sparkles, and thoughtful plants decorated the outside of the building, making it an even more stunning location then it already was.

It was a beautiful location that had hosted this event 4 times before. That was a tidbit of knowledge from Maxwell as the car had moved in this direction. It was apparently a big deal if this event was held at a venue again. Andrew just knew that Maxwell’s parents had high standards.

A line of cars were waiting behind them, anxious to drop off the guests inside, while Andrew felt his body begin to shake slightly. The nerves were getting to him now.

"Alright. Mom and Dad are no doubt already inside. Let’s go, you two." Maxwell said, taking Andrew’s hand in his own and gestured for Richard to follow after them. Richard looked about as nervous as Andrew felt. He did worry how his face looked as they moved towards the front doors, a security detail waiting outside.

They waved Andrew, Maxwell and Richard in without hesitation, and then Maxwell took the trio to a coat check. The people helping looked a little shocked to see Maxwell, Andrew, and Richard. Andrew was sure they were a strange combo, but that was fine.

"Max! Andy! And, oh! I’m so glad you agreed to come, Richard!" It was Luis’ voice from behind them, and Andrew turned while he was in the middle of adjusting his cufflinks. Luis was already reaching for him, wrapping him in a hug that had Andrew smiling. Luis gave him a gentle squeeze, pulling back and letting out a gasp. "Andy! Are you wearing contacts? My goodness! You’re even more handsome than before! How did Maxy let you leave the house?" Luis asked. She wasn’t teasing.

Maxwell let out a long sigh as he stepped out of Dad’s hug and turned to hug his Mom. Thomas was about to shake Richard’s hand, before he shrugged and pulled the awkward scientist into his arms, giving him a squeeze and turning to Andrew after to give him the same treatment.

"He wouldn’t let me mark him." Maxwell complained and Andrew nearly choked on air.

"What? That isn’t what I-don’t you dare blame me." Andrew told him angrily, and Maxwell grinned like an unrepentant child. He stuck his tongue out at Andrew, while Thomas and Luis watched on, a little startled, but clearly not upset in the slightest. It was only Richard who looked truly awkward.

"Well, if you let me have my way, I wouldn’t be complaining right now." Maxwell said snarkily and Andrew huffed.

"Oh, you want me to let you have your way?" Andrew said, his voice dropping and watched as Maxwell’s ears turned pink and the confidence left his expression. "Fine. Do you want me to let you have your way right now? With everyone around? I don’t mind. They don’t know who I am. We can even do an ode to your parents." Andrew suggested and Maxwell flushed, his whole face going red.

"I was just teasing!" Maxwell protested, and Andrew’s face broke into a smile. He bent, pressing a kiss against his lover’s cheek.

"I know, but you should be careful. I don’t have to just take it." Andrew warned and Maxwell grumbled, turning more into the kiss and Andrew chuckled.

Luis stared at them with warm eyes, her hands clasped in front of her.

"I’m glad you two get along so well. Jenny and Kim are already here, and your parents are still on their way, Richard. You should all head in and enjoy yourselves. Your brothers are running behind, as is typical." Luis told them before directing her words to Maxwell. She rolled her eyes, and Maxwell chuckled.

"At least Ben and Amir had an excuse. Will doesn’t have one."
