Noah lived in a relatively close residential tower in the downtown core. It wasn't one of the plots that his Mom had bought up, at least as far as Maxwell knew, so that gave Andrew a sense of relief. Andrew then remembered that his Mom didn't let any of the Abrahams live in her towers, so Noah wouldn't have been able to live there anyways.

The group got to the tower and Andrew thought that he was going to have to call Noah to get up, but Kim was already on it. Jenny was at the door waiting for them, her expression on the grim side as she caught sight of them.

"Andy. It's good to see you in one piece. I'll ask more questions once everyone is upstairs." She said and Andrew couldn't get a read on what that meant. Were things bad here? Or were they needed to help give a distraction to Noah and Nicole's fiancé?

The elevator up to the apartment was full of quiet words, the soft shifting of winter clothes and mild elevator music. It was a little surprising that this location had elevator music, but Andrew appreciated the distraction. Jenny kept glancing at Andrew and Maxwell before looking back towards her wife.

Jenny also held onto Kim's hand tightly, and Andrew wondered what she was thinking about, worrying about? He wouldn't know until he got to the apartment.

The apartment was on the upper levels of the tower. It had a great view overlooking the city below, about as good of a view as the apartment that the Beckett's had. It was a rather large, open space, opening into a kitchen on the right hand side, a small nook to put jackets and shoes, and then a hallway past the kitchen on the right hand side that led to bedrooms and the like. At least, that was what Andrew assumed.

There was something far more interesting to him inside of the living room right in front of him when he stepped inside.

There was a large L shaped couch in a dark grey colour that took up most of the living room. In front of the couch was a rich mahogany coffee table that served as a nice way to warm up the space. A t.v. was mounted on the wall across from the couch allowing the windows on the far wall to be a focus. A glass door led out to the patio and Andrew could see a two seater set stacked up and pushed against one side. It was covered in show, showing off the pretty sky outside.

Andrew saw what Jenny had been worried about as soon as he got in. The couch had three forms sitting on it. One was Amir, who was sitting close to the door, the second was Noah, and the third was presumably, Nicole's fiancé. The coffee table in front of them was littered with bottle after bottle of liquor. Of all kinds. Andrew at first wondered about if this was a new thing until he took in the state of Noah.

Noah was drunk. Not the fun drunk that Andrew had witnessed before only a few weeks ago. No, he was the terrible kind of drunk that Andrew was intimately familiar with.

Andrew could feel how Maxwell tensed at the sight of the intoxicated black man and Andrew couldn't exactly blame him. Andrew felt like he was seeing a different version of himself as well.

It was clear that Noah had not taken the news of his fiancé betrayed him well. Andrew couldn't blame the man. That had to be a horrible feeling. Andrew hadn't worried that Maxwell had betrayed him, just that he didn't care about him as much as Andrew cared about him. That he was holding him back.

So when Andrew saw the state that Noah was in, glazed eyes, flushed cheeks, empty bottles before him as he sat there looking like the world was ending, Andrew felt intimately aware of what he might need.

Nicole's fiancé wasn't doing any better, Andrew might add. It wasn't as if Noah had done this alone. On the couch on the opposite side of Noah was a thin whisp of a man. A shade lighter than the man he was sitting next to on the couch, he was a pretty, delicate kind of man in a way that was more similar to Amir than it was close to Maxwell's beauty. He wore a giant cream cable knit sweater that swallowed him. He had tears running down his face as he raised a shaking hand holding a glass of wine to his lips.

These men were not drinking because they wanted to. They were drinking to numb the pain. Andrew was glad that he didn't get the urge to join them.

"Do they know anything?" Andrew asked Jenny, who gave him a strange, complicated look.

"Noah has been too busy kicking himself about how he couldn't see it coming, nor do anything for his sister. I've been waiting for you to get here and limiting their consumption so that you could talk some sense into him. Especially since you went there." Jenny said and Andrew nodded. He braced himself, taking off his shoes before he turned to Maxwell.

He had thought Maxwell was okay. That he had unfrozen, but he hadn't. That was also not a good thing.

"Maxy? I'm here, Max." Andrew told the other man softly and watched as he shook himself. He understood. It was startling to realise that Andrew's personal issues weren't his alone. That, and Andrew had previously had no idea where they came from. He just assumed it was a vice he had worked hard for, you know?

To come face to face with the reality that he hadn't had to work as hard as he had? That it was basically genetic? Yeah, that sucked.

Maxwell's blue gaze turned upwards towards Andrew, his expression pained as he reached for Andrew's hand to give it a squeeze and Andrew just held his hand for a moment. Luis and Thomas watched on, probably able to sense that something was up, but it was May and Ford who knew the full force of what Maxwell was going through.

Maxwell eventually let him go, swallowing thickly as he looked away from Andrew.

"Go help him." Maxwell whispered roughly and Andrew nodded.

"You're going to be okay?" Andrew asked him softly and Maxwell gave a soft chuckle.

"I will be. He isn't you." Maxwell said. "It was just…a startling visual." He admitted and Andrew nodded. He reached out, his hand cupping the back of Maxwell's head as he pressed a kiss against his forehead.

"That's right. I'm right here." Andrew told him with a boyish grin and that seemed to force Maxwell to relax. He nodded, scanning Andrew's form with evident relief in his gaze before he actually gestured for Andrew to go.

This whole time, Noah hadn't even noticed that Andrew had arrived. Amir had, nodding gently in their direction, a small worried smile twisting his lips. Finally, Andrew approached his younger brother. A younger brother who carried a lot of worries and burdens on his shoulders.

"Noah." Andrew called and watched as the man jerked.

"Thankfully, he didn't have a glass in his hand. The rocks glass in front of him was empty, the giant cube having melted a significant amount. Andrew had a feeling that Jenny and Amir were the reasons that there was even a cube in the glass.

"Andy?" Noah rasped, his voice surprisingly clear. "Is that you?" He asked and Andrew nodded. He wasn't even sure if the man was able to see him clearly.

"Mehar with your grandparents?" Andrew asked Amir and Amir nodded, his expression softening slightly.

"They say hello, and that they are excited to see you again." Amir said with a chuckle. Andrew smiled warmly.

Noah stood up suddenly, nearly knocking over a few bottles nearby. Thankfully Amir caught them as Noah moved towards Andrew, his arms out, his expression stark.

"Did you find her? Is she okay?" Noah sounded as desperate as he looked. His hands shook as they landed haphazardly on Andrew's shoulder and arm. Squeezing tightly, using Andrew as a hold. Nicole's fiancé attempted to get to his feet as well. Amir moved over to take the wine glass out of his hand so that he didn't spill all over himself, his brown eyes spilling over as he stared at Andrew.

"Did you find her? How is she?" It was clear that the two were of the same mind and in any other situation Andrew would have thought that was cute.

"She's alive." Andrew told them first and Nicole's fiancé bent in half, hugging his stomach.

"Oh thank god." He sobbed. Amir was at his side, his expression mournful before Jenny showed up on his other side, comforting the younger omega. Noah continued to stare at Andrew, scanning his face to try and see if there was anything else he could glean. Andrew wondered what his glazed eyes saw.

"But how is she?" Noah asked, his tone serious and Andrew stared at him.

"Not well. Shattered. It's up to her now for her recovery. I got her out, Noah, but…" Andrew let out a slow exhale. HIs mind wandered back to her condition. "She fought well. I just hope that those fuckers rot in actual hell." Andrew said firmly, his emotions stirring angrily in his gut.

Noah let out a shaky exhale, his brown eyes going wide, shifting to amber.

"She was in the rooms? Why the hell was she in the rooms?" A chill went down Andrew's spine.

"You knew of them?" Andrew asked and Noah nodded. He looked spooked, upset. Scared.

"Everyone knows of them, Andy. They're terrifying. I was warned about them as a kid before I manifested, and when I didn't at a time that I should have, I was brushed aside and that fear still lingered. Any of the true alphas or alphas that went into those rooms…" Noah shuddered, looking ill. "She made it out? Did she…?" He trailed off, looking horrified.

"She's covered in her own bite marks." Andrew said and Noah looked ill with relief.

"Someone was looking out for her." Noah said and Andrew wasn't going to tell him that he couldn't confirm that. As of right now, it looked like that was the case.

That was more important for them to know than any of Andrew's worries. They probably wouldn't even be able to remember this conversation anyways.
