CHAPTER 48: CHAPTER 48:WILD IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE

A faint, almost relieved smile curved on his lips before his hand drifted down, slowly, deliberately, until his fingers closed around my cock. He rubbed the tip in lazy circles, his voice dropping to a low, almost regretful murmur.

"I’m sorry... You touched me, and I tried so damn hard not to react. Little Zayn, I’m sorry."

I stared at him for a moment, then let out a quiet laugh. He shook his head, eyes narrowing playfully.

"It was fucking hard to resist you... But I’m a strong soldier. I didn’t let my guard down."

I met his gaze seriously. "I’m glad you can laugh about it now... but promise me you’ll never get angry with me like that again. You scared me, Evric, watching you lose your temper like that."

His expression softened, guilt flickering in his eyes. "I was in pain, Zayn. I thought I was losing you... or that someone else might take you away from me."

I reached for his face, my thumb brushing his cheek. "Nobody’s taking me anywhere. She’s just a friend, nothing more, nothing serious."

He exhaled slowly, almost in relief, and handed me my clothes. "Put these back on."

I frowned. "Why? Are you still angry?"

"No," he said simply.

"Then why?" I pressed.

A smirk tugged at his lips. "Honestly? I originally called you here to spend the night with me so we could hit the bar together. And then when I came back, I just..." His hand slid back to my cock, giving it a teasing squeeze.

I narrowed my eyes. "I don’t believe you."

"I’m not lying," he chuckled.

"If you’re not angry, prove it, give me head," I challenged, my voice daring.

He raised a brow. "If I do that now, you’ll be too spent when we come back. You’ll tell me you’re tired, and I won’t get to touch you the way I want."

I thought about it for a moment before conceding with a small shrug. "Fine."

I got dressed, and together we headed downstairs. The moment Nuala saw us walking side by side again, her face lit up.

"It’s good to see you two back on good terms," she said warmly.

We both smiled in unison before making our way side by side toward his parking slot. His driver stepped forward, but Evric’s gaze was already fixed on a sleek machine parked a few spaces away, a glossy black Aston Martin DB11, its curves catching the low light like liquid obsidian.

He turned to me with a boyish spark in his eyes. "Are you up for a night drive?"

I blinked. "I thought we were going to the bar."

"Changed my mind," he said with a shrug, though the glint in his eyes told me it was more than a whim.

He gave me a choice, agree to the night drive, or we could stick to the original plan and head to the bar. I studied him for a moment, and seeing the rare ease in his expression, I decided not to ruin the mood. "Alright," I said softly. "Night drive it is.

"

"Good choice," he murmured, clearly pleased.

Evric tossed his keys in the air and caught them before telling his driver, "Don’t wait up. I’ll drive tonight."

The engine roared to life with a low, throaty growl, vibrating through the air as he slid behind the wheel. I settled into the passenger seat, the leather warm and rich beneath me. With one smooth motion, he pulled us out into the open road, the city lights glinting ahead like scattered stars waiting to be chased.

We pulled onto the open road, the city lights shrinking in the rearview mirror until they were nothing but distant stars. Evric tapped the steering wheel in rhythm to the music he’d just put on, something smooth yet upbeat. I could see it in his face, the way his jaw relaxed, the way his eyes lit up. Tonight, he wasn’t the guarded man I usually knew, he was just... happy.

We talked. We sang along to the lyrics, badly at times, laughing even more when he hit the wrong notes. He drove faster than usual, the wind rushing through the open windows. I told him to slow down, and he only grinned before reluctantly easing his foot off the gas.

Hours passed with no destination in sight, until finally I asked, "Where are we even going?"

He glanced at me, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Nowhere."

We both laughed. Somehow, that felt perfect no plan, no pressure, just us. Eventually, we found ourselves in the middle of a deserted road. No streetlights. No traffic. Just silence... and the faint hum of the engine.

He cracked a joke, and I laughed until my chest ached, until the laughter faded and we were simply... staring at each other. The air between us shifted, thickening with something far more electric. Then he leaned in, kissing me hard, urgent, and deep.

Before I could think, my body reacted; I was already hard. His voice dropped, lower, rougher. His hand brushed over my lap, and he smirked.

"You’re hard," he murmured. "I’m hard too... Tell me, Zayn, would you welcome sex outside?"

I swallowed, looking around at the empty road. "I’ve never had sex outside before,

what if a car passes by? Anybody could see."

He nodded, pulling his hand back slowly. "It’s okay. I understand. Let’s just drive a little more and head home." But his voice was quieter now, and he didn’t meet my eyes.

I studied his profile. "Are you angry?"

His lips curved faintly. "No. How can I be angry with my man?" He tried to make it light, even adding a joke, but something in his tone told me otherwise.

I narrowed my eyes at him. "You think I’m boring... don’t you? When it comes to sex."

Evric chuckled softly. "Do you want the honest answer?"

"Yes," I said, holding his gaze.

"You seriously don’t have to worry if you’re boring or not... I’m not with you because of sex."

I tilted my head. "So if it was about sex, you wouldn’t be chasing after me?"

This time, he didn’t answer immediately. His lips parted as though he might speak, but nothing came out.

"I understand you," I said finally, trying to let it go.

But then he turned to me, his voice quieter. "I love you, Zayn. I don’t know why you’re suddenly bringing this up. You’re not boring, I just... love crazy things. Wild things. Which you don’t like."

He leaned closer, his hand cupping both my cheeks, his thumbs brushing against my skin. His gaze held mine, steady. "I’m wild, Zayn. I could have sex anywhere, especially if it’s with you. But don’t sulk, okay? I love everything about you. That’s enough."

He moved to start the car.

And that’s when I blurted, "I’ll do it."

His head snapped toward me. "What?"

"I’ll have sex with you. Here."

"Zayn..." His voice was low, half warning, half disbelief. "You don’t have to..."

"I want to." My voice was steady, but my heart was pounding.

His smirk deepened, and without a word, he reached over and killed the engine. The sudden quiet made my pulse hammer even louder in my ears.

"Say it again," he murmured, his voice low, almost a growl.

"I want you," I whispered, my throat tight but my resolve steady. "Here. Now."
