Every night was always a nightmare to her because she can see them frequently and even said that some ’people’ whom she can see will always try to talk to her.

It was a very bizarre situation and they didn’t know how to deal with it. The young Shen Zhi could only tried herself to endure the torture on seeing such things.

"I suddenly remembered something." Shen Jietang said and paused for a few seconds before looking at Shen Lou with a serious face. "... your sister can see Black ever since your cat died."

"Why can’t I? Just because she’s your favorite child?!" For the rare time again, Shen Lou’s temper went out and he became so sensitive again that he couldn’t control his mouth anymore.

Ever since he was young, all he could remember was how his father would always take his sister to the military and train with her. Even if he knew that it was because their father is cultivating Shen Zhi as his heir, he still couldn’t help but feel jealous.

Shen Jietang decided to not conceal any truths from now on and let Shen Lou face the reality of his life that was saved by Shen Zhi.

"Shen Lou, you were my heir." Shen Jeitang begins his confession in front of everyone.

"It was supposed to be you who had to undergo deep training even for a young age and endured everything he had. But he didn’t because Shen Zhi protected you." Shen Jeitang sighs.

Both options can never be considered. Their father loved his wife and will never remarry for the sake of producing an heir nor their pride allows them to agree and find someone to manage the family.

Thus, Shen Zhi starts carrying all the burden behind her silently even until this present.

"Do you know how precious Nanny Liu is in her life? Even though she knew that there’s a hint of greed and maliciousness, that woman took care of her ever since she was a child, Shen Zhi was still attached to her. But what did she do that time?" Shen Jietang looked at his son. "Didn’t she just let go of her for you?"

"Shen Zhi could have just rejected you, but as always she didn’t for you." Shen Lou on the other side of the screen became extremely silent after hearing the sudden truth.

His head hung low and he clenched his fist tightly before asking, "Where is she?"

This made Shen Jietang pause again.

"... Dad?" Shen Lou asked with a bad premonition inside him.

"She went to war again with the Marshal. As for when they will come back... no one knows."
