[BL] Debut in Interstellar After Retiring as Grim Reaper
Chapter 216 - 215: Nan Moyi
CHAPTER 216: CHAPTER 215: NAN MOYI
Chapter 215: Nan Moyi
Nan Moyi is probably one of the trainees who has been steadily growing with calmness. Unlike others who seemed to be burning with a fighting spirit, he was like a lake— calm and just flowing without any deviation.
All the members of S Class seemed to even encountered difficulties that almost caused their position to be removed but not him. He was not like Shen Lou who had conflicts with the team members, He Yan who had the bottleneck, Han Suwen who was disliked, Gu Yijin who was too distant nor Qin An who was sharp. Nan Moyi is something that just seems to be on the side where there’s no brightest light but even so, he never dimmed in a single second on stage.
In addition, he was the oldest among all the trainees so maybe that made him look more reliable like an elder brother. And it’s actually true in his real life situation because he was the eldest among his other four younger siblings. They became orphans long ago and he was the main supporter to provide for them.
But how did he end up entering this competition rather than maybe just doing other jobs? In the past he actually had. Nan Moyi is someone who doesn’t rely on one job. He had many back up plans for him in case there’s a situation in the family. He also gave up studying and found several jobs to fulfill his responsibilities as the eldest for them.
And it was only until the second child of the family became a scholar in a prestigious university and an apprentice of a wealthy master who provided them a free home. Furthermore, his other siblings also found many simple ways to help the family even with just doing other people’s homework. Due to his sibling’s diligence, they were able to find a home where they could no longer have to constantly worry if they’ll be kicked out due to the rental issues.
That’s when the second and third child wanted him to do what he wanted too. In the beginning, Nan Moyi refused. He had long given up all the plans for himself and just wanted to continue finding ways on getting money to provide for their life. He believed that that was the responsibility he was willing to take after their parents died. Unexpectedly, these two didn’t even ask for his permission and just signed him up for a dance competition.
Nan Moyi had no choice back then and just thought about doing his best to win the prize. But when he stepped on the stage and performed, all the blood inside his body that he thought had died seemed to start boiling with a tingling passion. He could hear his heart beating too loud as if it wanted to get out of his chest.
Like how the dream that was buried deep inside his heart wanted to get out from the cage where he forcibly decided to forget.
Nan Moyi felt the self he left came back inside him. He felt alive as if the once withered winter turned into a beautiful spring.
Since then, Nan Moyi decided to take a gamble.
He worked hard again to practice all day long. Of course he wouldn’t forget his responsibility in the family. Instead of doing various jobs, he decided to join competitions to hone himself and also while earning money.
Eventually, he saw this competition and with the support of his family, he took the risk again to join.
Behind the calm lake lies a worried heart. He didn’t even know what’s happening to his family outside and could only hope for the better. Nan Moyi wanted to win not just for himself but also for the family who believed him.
Right now after this round performance, he wanted to thank the members especially Qin An. He actually didn’ t know. For starters, the other members helped him too, but Qin An did something for him.
During the week of given practice, he had a mild riot. He was sick after constantly working on his body non-stop and felt exhausted. Nan Moyi actually didn’t mind. He wanted to just continue practicing but it was Qin An who ordered him not to do so.
He was considerate even for the short period of time they had to master the performance especially that it was him who wrote the song and instead be the one to guide them. He remembered the young man firmly refused and wanted him to take rest.
’What’s the hurry? You don’t even have to worry about a thing because we can work it out. All you have to do is to get better immediately and come back to the group.’
Those were the young man’s words that made him reassured. The members made him feel like he doesn’t have to be anxious because they had each other.
That’s why when they finished the official performance he couldn’t help but went to Qin An and hugged him. He was grateful for the team and even felt relief after being chosen as the MVP.
Nan Moyi thought about his family while standing in the middle of the stage. They are probably watching him right now and he knows that they are proud of him.

"Qin An." After the shooting, the live episode ended successfully and they were given a period of rest again before another work. Nan Moyi went to the young man early in the morning to sit down beside to have breakfast together.
"Qin An, I want us to be a group again. If there’s a chane to pick, choose me," he said.
"Choose you?" He Yan heard their conversation and quickly joined them. With the young man’s sparkling eyes, he also looked at Qin An eagerly
"Me! Me too, Anan! Let’s be a group again, okay?" He Yan insisted. Nan Moyi saw the young man stilled for a moment when He Yan called him that name again before nodding in resignation.
Just as they were about to continue their breakfast, a voice sounded.
"Please consider me too."
They quickly turned their heads to the new person and saw an unexpected one.
It was Gu Yijin.
"Classmate Gu?" He called in surprised. Gu Yijin nodded at them before taking a seat in front of them while looking at Qin An seriously.
"Will you consider me?" The young man went straight to the point and quickly repeated his purpose to Qin An.
"??!" However, this only earned a surprise for them.
Gu Yijin wanted to team up with Qin An? But as far as he noticed, both of them were not even close nor had a proper conversation even from the start of the competition. Because they have both personalities where they seemed uninterested to other trainees, they didn’t bother to get along and just be civil.
Qin An and Gu Yijin were one of the trainees who felt like they were in different competitions because they really didn’t talk. Yet now, Gu Yijin actually proposed this to Qin An? And not to mention that he even took the initiative which was something that he never did.
Nan Moyi subconsciously narrowed his eyes in deep thought and looked at the two. Was there something going on that he didn’t know about?
It’s just that before he could dwell on that thought further, more voices from other trainees interrupted their conversation.
"What about us, Anan? You won’t forget about us, right?" Han Suwen’s voice sounded a bit teasing as he went to them with others.
"That’s right. Qin An, you once saved my life and I wanted to thank you. Can we be on the same team again so I can help you with all I can, right?" Lu Nanxiao seconded.
And what was even more unexpected was Shen Lou who actually joined. The young man slightly raised his brow at Qin An. "Remmeber what you said the last time."
What was the last time? Nan Moyi wondered but all of them didn’t understand. As for others, they just looked at them but that didn’t changed the fact that they are also looking at the young man who was centered at the conversation.
"..." Qin An didn’t answer them and looked a bit speechless.
With so many trainees suddenly gathering up around the young man, who couldn’t be?
Nan Moyi looked at their expression and suddenly felt in the mood to tease. Thus, he moves slightly closer to Qin An and smiles slightly.
"Anan wouldn’t forget about me, right? After all, I was the one who asked first."
"..."
Qin An was even more dumbfounded at this sudden topic around him. He really couldn’t understand why the hell are they up to.
However despite this, the atmosphere around them looked unexpectedly harmonious. Qin An looked at the gathering trainees around him and felt a bit relieved.
He had only realized now how the number of people around him is actually getting a lot. It was a total contrast to how he went here the first time.
No one even dared to look at him except for He Yan with a friendly gaze.
By this time, there seems to be a crowd around him making him feel like having someone by his side.
It was very contrasting because I was used to being alone. Qin An thought so and was about to continue his breakfast when Shen Lou suddenly handed him a meat bun.
"Try this." The young man said he was about to decline when all of the sudden, looking at the stretched hand in front of him made him inexplicably remember a vague flash of memory.
It was just a second but Qin An saw a hand holding the same meat bun too in front of him. And different from Shen Lou’s slightly youthful voice, the unknown sounded deep and a bit hoarse inside his mind saying the same thing.
’Try this.’
But Qin An couldn’t even remember such a memory in his previous life. So who?
