When they arrived at the scene, many important figures were seen inside the private laboratory. They were standing near the protective barrier for the old peach blossom tree and wearing different expressions on their faces.

"Y-You!" The people’s faces flush red in anger and humiliation but couldn’t say anything because it’s an old Professor.

"Who dares to say anything about my son can leave immediately!" It was Professor Jian who declared coldly. He stood beside the young man and patted him on the shoulder. "This is my son under my guardian. If you want to bully him then step on my old bones first!"

The atmosphere went cold and what’s supposed to be something that must be treated holy and important couldn’t seem to continue smoothly anymore.

"Anan, are you okay?" Hou Nian whispered to the young man and looked at him worriedly. Qin An was just silent even from the malicious words around him and she was very worried.

Qin An stayed silent for a second before nodding at her.

"I’m fine."

At this moment, Qin An just felt a bit stunned by the reaction that he got. Ever since he revealed his identity and the people in the Federation knew his capabilities, they had been treating him well and respected from all aspects.

It’s not that he hasn’t received bad treatment but it seems that this world has been treating him well enough, thus making him forget that there’s another side of a human too.

"It’s not that there’s no other way," he begins. "But I need the help from the tree."

He doesn’t even need to take this trouble from people as long as he does his job properly. After all, what’s his priority are the dead and not the troublemakers.

"You should let them see us, kid." Another soldier also chimed in. "These people are just feeling arrogant and feel that they are such very important people. They need to be taught."
