CHAPTER 229: 229: VISITOR

Lenny stared at him, blinking. He listened to all Eden had to say before he asked, "So you mean you’re falling in love with the two of them?"

"Well...." Eden hesitated. "That might not quite be it. But then again, it might actually be a sign that I’m growing softer."

He continued, "And if I actually end up growing softer, then I might end up falling for them. And I’m not ready for that yet... Again." He muttered the last word as flashbacks came running through his memory.

He found himself thinking about his past. About the moment when he had decided to take a break from love. The moment that led him into that corner to make such a decision.

Lenny sighed. "Well, unless you really are a monster, then I don’t know how that’ll be possible. Because you seem like you’re falling for them. Or something."

Eden blinked. "Well. Then that’s bad..."

Lenny sighed. "The moment you signed up for the dramatic scheme of seducing them, that was the moment you took the risk of falling in love again. And I think that risk is becoming a reality."

Eden bit his lower lip. "I just think I’ve lost my knack." He shook his head. "Yes. That should be it. Because the old me never falls in love that easily. I’m never swayed that easily. So how is it possible that it’s different with them?"

Lenny stared at him. "Maybe they could possibly remind you of someone?" It was a casual statement from Lenny, but it already had Eden thinking.

He sat there in bed, eyes lost in the far distance as he found himself thinking about Lenny’s words. Words that he couldn’t find logical but couldn’t stop thinking about for the next few seconds.

"I guess I’ll either have to guard myself better or keep my distance," Eden finally said after a while of thinking.

"Are you sure about those two options?" Lenny stared at him, worried.

Eden hesitated and then nodded. "Yeah. I think I am. I mean, I’ve gotten part of my power and soon I should find it all. So with my powers, I don’t think I’ll be needing them anymore..."

"I can protect myself then," he decided.

Lenny nodded. "Well, if you say so, then I guess I’ll only have to support you."

Eden nodded. And then they heard a sound from within the room.

Eden and Lenny instantly turned to the side where the noise came from. The bathroom. They heard something in there, and it was pretty obvious at that point that someone was in there.

"Did someone get in here?" Eden asked.

"I don’t know. Maybe?" Lenny shrugged.

Eden slowly got up on his feet, alert. "How did someone possibly get in here? I mean..." He hesitated, staring at the bathroom door.

They heard some movement from the bathroom. And then soon they saw the doorknob moving. Someone was about to open the door.

Eden stiffened. He didn’t know what was behind that door, so he didn’t know if he could even take whatever that was down.

Lenny, on the other hand, sat up, staring at the door. He was ready for an attack. Ready to transform into anything for it.

And just then, the door was pushed open and a man walked in.

Eden stared at the tall, naked, wet feet of a young man. And then the towel around his waist. He let his eyes move up to the naked chest of this young man. His bare naked chest that was dripping with water. And then he stared up at his face.

That blue hair.

"Felix?" Eden found himself saying.

Felix winked at him. "It’s been a while. I guess you’re still alive, Master."

Eden almost rolled his eyes a couple of times. "Where the hell have you been and... what are you doing here?" he demanded.

Felix had his hand on his hips, holding onto the loose towel. "Well, it’s a long story. But I found my way back here when I heard that you’ve returned," he smiled.

Eden stared at him from head to toe. "So why are you taking a bath in my room?"

"Because it’s the only place I can take it, I suppose?" He walked up to Eden. But halfway through, the towel fell off. He now stood before Eden naked.

Eden wanted to panic, but he kept his cool. He stared at Felix and then raised an eyebrow. Lenny, who sat there in plain sight, disappeared into the dust.

Felix smiled. "Well, it was becoming a hassle anyway. This is more comfortable." He smiled as he walked up to Eden and leaned his face closer. "Master, did you miss me? You never looked for me. I’m sorta disappointed."

Eden glared into his eyes. "And since when were you interested in me looking for you? It’s not like you like men."

Felix raised an eyebrow. "I don’t. I’m just interested in you, Master."

Eden stared deep into his eyes. "Is that so? How interested are you in me? Enough to sleep with me every day?"

Felix scoffed. "Well, I guess it depends on how active you are and how much I can learn from it all. Magic-wise."

Eden tilted his head. "Well. That’s not so straight of you." He raised his fingers, running them over his chest and up to his neck. Eden’s eyes followed his fingers up to his lips as his eyes met Felix’s.

Eden scoffed. "But I suppose you must have done it with a couple of girls in your free time."

Felix smiled. "No. I was waiting for you, master."

"How loyal." Eden’s fingers were now on his neck, caressing his collarbones while his eyes laid on his face. Tension skyrocketing between them.

Soon, Eden leaned closer to his face. Their breath brushed against one another. It was as though they would be kissing anytime soon.

And in a low tone, Eden said, "You know I could kick those balls between your legs and paralyze them forever, right?"
