Chapter 234: Pour Me some.
CHAPTER 234: 234: POUR ME SOME.
The door was opened and Queen Elizabeth walked in with her lady-in-waiting following behind.
Queen Lea looked up, watching them walk in as she said, "Send that old hag out. I don’t have time to stare at her face," she said, referring to Queen Elizabeth’s lady-in-waiting.
"Yes," the maids turned to grab the lady-in-waiting.
"What? I wish to stay with the Queen. Please let me stay," the lady-in-waiting requested.
But Queen Lea rolled her eyes. "I don’t have time for any of this. Take her away. She’s already annoying me."
Queen Elizabeth stared at Queen Lea. She knew no matter what she said, Queen Lea wouldn’t let her stay. So she said to her lady-in-waiting, "Wait for me outside. I’ll be out soon."
The lady-in-waiting was skeptical. But she slowly nodded as the maids took her outside and closed the door.
Now Queen Elizabeth was standing before Queen Lea, who was smiling at her.
"You’ll be out soon? You really are getting cocky recently. How annoying," she said as she took a sip from the tea. "I called you a long time ago and you’re coming now? How dare you keep me waiting?"
"Apologies. Something came up," Queen Elizabeth said as Queen Lea scoffed.
"You’ve gotten a lot of nerve recently. And if I don’t cut off your newly growing wings and tame you, you might as well slap me in the future or something," Queen Lea said.
The room was quiet for a while as she drank up her tea and then kept the cup at the side. She stared at Queen Elizabeth while she stood up.
"So where were we?" Queen Lea smiled. "Oh yeah, I remember."
She said, "Last time I was telling you how your unruly son keeps messing things up. And how he is getting so bold and arrogant lately. And you, as the mother, VOLUNTEERED, to take any punishment on your son’s behalf. Isn’t that so?" She said as she stared at Queen Elizabeth.
Queen Elizabeth stood there, head bowed while she said nothing.
"I said, isn’t that so?" Queen Lea asked again as she now stood before Queen Elizabeth.
Queen Elizabeth slowly nodded. "Yes."
Queen Lea smiled. "That’s more like it. And so, as the honourable and humble Lady I am, I decided to fulfil your request by punishing you instead." She stared at her. "Now go down on your knees and let’s continue from where we stopped the last time."
Queen Elizabeth hesitated before she slowly adhered to the demands of Queen Lea. She slowly went down on her knees before her.
Queen Lea smiled, satisfied. "That’s more like it," she said as she turned and headed to her bed. She now sat down before Queen Elizabeth, who was kneeling before her.
Queen Lea sighed. "I would have asked you to continue cleaning my feet. But I’ve already gotten my feet cleaned, so I wouldn’t want you to dirty them with those filthy hands of yours."
She stared at Queen Elizabeth as she sighed. "So I guess you’re lucky. Because I’ll have to find something else for you to help me with."
She sighed as she looked around and then stared at the tray on the table close by. A jug of tea and some cups were there. "That’s it I guess. Go and pour some tea and come serve it to me."
She stared back at Queen Elizabeth. "At least that should be a decent start."
Queen Elizabeth hesitated, still kneeling there as Queen Lea questioned, "I wonder if I’m not loud enough, or you’re just trying to protest?"
"It’s none of that," Queen Elizabeth said as she slowly got up to her feet. The Queen and maids there watched as she slowly walked up to the table.
They watched as she poured some tea for Queen Lea and then went to serve her the cup of tea. "Here."
Queen Lea stared at it. "That’s so thoughtful of you, My Queen," she smiled as she took the tea from her hands. "Now go back and kneel down while I think of something else."
Queen Elizabeth didn’t say anything. She went and knelt down again. Kneeling before Queen Lea.
Queen Lea stared at the tea as she blew some air through it, trying to soothe the hot tea that produced some steam.
She gently soothed it for a while and then took a little sip. Queen Lea sighed with her eyes closed as she tried savouring the taste of what she had just drunk.
And after a while, she opened her eyes and stared at Queen Elizabeth, who had her eyes down.
"Bad," Queen Lea said. "This tea tastes terrible. How dare you give this to me?" she demanded as Queen Elizabeth stared up at her, confused.
"Are you looking down on me or what? How dare you give me this bitter tea? Or did you put something in here to poison me or what?" she questioned.
Queen Elizabeth knew it was her way of throwing a tantrum and finding fault with her. Because she wasn’t even the one who made the tea. And it was literally the same tea she was having before she came in.
"The nerve you have!" Queen Lea snapped. "You still have the guts to feed me something like this? How annoying!" she snapped as she angrily threw the cup.
Queen Lea had thrown the cup towards Queen Elizabeth’s face so she would pour the tea all over her. That was her plan. And it was a quick and unexpected action. One that was supposed to end with the hot tea pouring all over Queen Elizabeth’s face and body.
But even before the tea could get to Queen Elizabeth, it disappeared.
It happened so quickly. The tea substance had disappeared into thin air and appeared above Queen Lea instead. The tea miraculously spilled all over Queen Lea’s head instead.
Pouring all over her. Her hair and down to her face. The hot tea led her into a frantic movement of panic as she got up to her feet, screaming and running around the room while slapping her face.
