[BL] Seducing Male Leads To Survive As A Villain In A Novel
Chapter 260: Defence
CHAPTER 260: 260: DEFENCE
The priest paused as he stared at Leo. He sighed, "Not another one... And who are you?"
Leo smiled. "Don’t worry. I’m not here to save him. I just wish to have a quick talk with you."
The priest stared at him. "Well, I don’t have time for that..."
"You don’t have time for it, or you don’t want to answer?" Leo smiled. "Because like I said, all the arts you’ve used here are just diabolical."
"And who are you to decide that?" The priest questioned.
"Leo Enor. The Grand Duke of Enor," Leo smiled. "I’ve studied many fields of knowledge and can say I know a bit of everything. But I’ve taken a deep study into theology and some art of magic. And I can tell you for sure that nothing about what you did is sacred..."
The priest paused, staring at him. He felt a flash of fear run through him as he heard Leo’s words. He was right; there was nothing sacred about whatever he was using. They were black magic he had made to take down Eden.
But he never thought anyone would find out. But it seemed Leo had caught on to him. And he could tell he wasn’t lying at all.
The audience now looked around in shock.
"Another Wizard?"
"He’s also a wizard too? How’s that possible?"
"So there’s someone more powerful than the Wizard of EL? Aren’t we doomed?"
"How’s that possible? Isn’t he a priest? How can this be..."
Everyone now had something to say. And the priest was beginning to panic. He had hidden it all along. His dark side of black magic.
He didn’t want to be known for it. Remembered for it or whatsoever. So he had taken the good path instead. A sacred path.
But now it seemed people were going to look into him for his black magic. It seemed they were going to find out about its origin and even more. And that was the last thing he wanted.
It was the reason he never wanted to use it again. But the king had threatened him to, assuring him that no one would know. But it seemed like it wasn’t possible. Someone knew.
"If you want to fight with me then come on, you’re talking a lot of rubbish," The priest said, trying to cover up.
But Leo scoffed. "No thanks. I won’t be able to even touch you if I tried. So what’s the point of even fighting? You’re powerful. As expected of a wizard."
Leo saw the panic on the priest’s face and he could tell his words were right. He was strangely a wizard.
At first he wasn’t sure. Even when he was certain his powers which he was observing were similar to that of black magic. But now that he had seen his reaction, he was certain.
"What’s all that talk about?!" The King interrupted, trying to rescue the priest. "How dare you accuse him of using black magic to get rid of an enemy? Is that what you think of me?"
Leo said nothing.
The King continued, "He is the renowned priest of Elzager known for his rare ancient arts. So it’s not a surprise most of you don’t know about it and call it black magic."
"He is here to eliminate evil on my instructions. So anyone who questions him has questioned me. And I will not take it easy on such a person," The King ordered and everyone was quiet.
"Now," The King said to the priest. "Ignore these fools and take down that wizard now."
"Yes," The priest turned to Eden to take him down. But immediately Adrian and Elvis attacked from the side.
They had both teamed up and kicked the priest down.
The priest staggered backwards but struck with his powers; the two of them dodged and kicked him again.
They had skillfully teamed up to take him down. And the three of them ended up in a tense fight. Swords flying, kicks and punches roaming and magic swooning.
All the priest could do was use his powers against them. But the two still came back to attack him. Putting together their skills and strength to tackle the priest of Elzager.
Leo on the other hand stood there staring. He casually took a glass of wine and sipped it down while enjoying the fight. He had already done his part in helping out.
And that was by stalling the priest while Adrian and Elvis got up on their feet to attack.
Eden was still on the ground, watching the fight between the two male leads and the priest.
"How long can they hold him off?" Eden asked Lenny in his mind.
"I don’t think it’ll be for long," Lenny said. "They’ll be taken down soon and he’ll come for you next."
"And we still haven’t come up with something..." Eden bit his lower lip. "I still think we should try that. Merging like the last time..."
"Like I said, it’s a risky attempt now," Lenny said. "Judging from the priest and his powers, he can end you faster if you put up a power that you can’t control much. And at the moment, you can’t control the merging..."
"So what do we do?" Eden asked.
"Maybe I can try holding him off. Morphing into a dragon or something. Maybe I can hold him off while you try running away or something," Lenny said.
Eden sighed. "Yet again the book certainly tricked me into coming and thinking it’s not much of a deal. Had I known he was this powerful I wouldn’t have come. I thought the wizard of EL would always be stronger..."
"Well too bad. You’ve found your match. Or someone stronger. Obviously," Lenny said.
Before long, The priest had taken down Adrian and Elvis. He sent them flying through the air again, Adrian hitting against a pillar while Elvis crashed against a table.
The two of them fell to the ground, exhausted. They were hurt and bleeding. They obviously weren’t attacking again anytime soon.
And at that moment, Eden knew he was on his own. And he had to act fast or die according to the fate of his character.
