CHAPTER 263: 263: A TOUR

The great priest watched his son fall down, unconscious. And he gasped. But on looking up, Eden already had his eyes on him.

He was still the same. Nothing changed about Eden from his looks and clothes. But he smiled.

Eden flashed a confident smile at the priest as he said, "Don’t worry, your son is alright. He’ll wake up soon."

The priest glared at him. "What are you up to now?"

Eden smiled. "What am I up to? Easy. I want to survive."

The priest scoffed. "That’s impossible for someone like you."

"Is it?" Eden tilted his head. "Well I guess I’ll have to take you down to achieve that."

The priest struck first. He sent multiple waves of green light at Eden, trying to knock him down. But Eden casually waved his fingers back at him.

Purple waves clashed with all the waves sent by the priest and sent them back at him. A huge purple wave followed, brushing the priest off his feet and sending him crashing down.

Eden didn’t stop; he stared at the priest who was on the floor and smiled. "People like you are means through which the plot uses to end me. I can’t watch that happen." He snapped his fingers and the building shook as though there was an earthquake.

Everyone staggered as Eden stared at his fingers. "Wrong one. I guess I still need to get a hang of it." He scoffed as he stared at the priest and snapped again. The priest flew into the air and began spinning.

Eden watched him spin and then sent him flying and crashing against a curtain. He fell to the ground.

Eden sighed as he stared at Felix. "I guess I can’t do anything with you now since you’re his father. I can’t be that evil to end the life of my student’s father."

Eden sighed as he turned and stared at the priest who was staggering to get up on his feet. "Too bad," he smiled. "But I guess I can torture you internally."

Eden’s eyes went purple as he stared at the priest. The priest too stared in his direction and their eyes locked. Eden’s purple eyes hypnotized the priest’s eyes and the priest stiffened.

He stood like a statue as his eyes went purple as well. He stood there but his mind wasn’t there anymore. He had gone into his mind where Eden had taken him.

And Eden had sent torturous images and beasts into his mind. Having them run after him and torture him.

All the priest could do was run around and escape from these monsters he couldn’t take down. In his mind, he couldn’t use his powers at all. Strangely.

And when he had gotten tired from running, Eden appeared in his mind and stood before him. The priest staggered backwards.

"You.. what do you want from me.. what are you doing.. where am I...?" The priest looked around. "Let me go now..." He snapped.

But Eden smiled. "Don’t worry, I’ll give you a quick death."

"Death.. what.. what do you mean...?" He moved backwards. "You’re going to kill me...?"

Eden smiled. He was standing in the air in the atmosphere that was black. There was nothing in sight. Just the black atmosphere and the two of them.

"You can’t kill me..." The priest said. "I made you! You can’t kill your maker.."

Eden didn’t understand what he meant by that. And he didn’t care. At least for now. He had both hands behind him as he smiled. "Is that so? Well let’s see how much you can last before dying."

Eden added, "And why don’t we try something interesting? I’ve seen it in the movies. People dying multiple times. Let’s see how that works here..."

Fear was written all over the priest’s face as he staggered backwards. "No.. no.." he turned and began running for his life, moving through the plain darkness without even knowing where he was going.

But Eden smiled as he watched him move. "That’s hopeless," he said with a smile as his eyes went purple.

A huge purple bird beast flew towards the priest who was running. And it picked him up from the back with its mouth. It spun the priest around and threw him off in the air.

"Ahhh!!!!" The priest screamed in shock while flying through the sky. And then he landed on a harsh rock and died.

Again.

The priest opened his eyes in the same spot. Eden was sitting on a rock close by. Staring at him with both arms crossed. "Welcome back," he smiled. "Not running again?"

Shocked, the priest gasped as he began running in the opposite direction. Running from Eden as far as possible.

But as he ran, the ground broke open and he fell into black water. He struggled swimming but to no avail, he was drowning. And soon a huge purple shark attacked him.

"Ah! No! Stay away!" He tried running from it but the shark ate him up. He died.

Again.

He opened his eyes and found himself in the same dark place. This time, Eden was sitting on a tree, staring down at him.

Eden smiled. "Welcome back."

Fear gripped the priest. "What’s this?" He looked around. "What am I doing here?"

"If I were you, I’d start running before that thing catches me," Eden smiled, pointing at his back.

The priest quickly looked back to see a huge purple snake coming his way. It looked vicious and hungry.

"What is that?!" The priest immediately began running for his life. Eden laughed, watching as the snake chased him until he could run no more.

And so the snake began eating him up after catching him. Part by part. And soon swallowed him up, dead.

Again.

The priest dreaded opening his eyes. And when he did, he saw himself in the same place.

"What’s all this?!" The priest panicked as he saw Eden sitting down on another tree, enjoying some apples. "Are you messing with me or what?"

Eden smiled. "Welcome back."
