At the mention of her name!

Luna understood everything she needed to do! She knew what her master wanted- what she wanted!

Her gaze turned cold! Face impassive.

She walked with a gradual movement! Her composed motion causing literal sparks and flickers of blackish-lightning to appear around her figure!

*Crackle!~* *Crackle!~*

They zipped and fizzled; clinging to her slender figure in an erratically mesmerizing manner.

Being a speed-type Magical Beast Wolf!

One; who’s aspects of Laws were also centered towards speed and dexterity! Her speed was already something no one could match in her phase!

Her rank aside! Luna was actually using her Primary Law of Higher Lightening! There was no way anyone would be able to see or preceive her movement.

Therefore the second her master uttered her name! She was already before the Mortal Knight! Regardless of her gradual movement.

She grabbed him by his black-hair! The one responsible for her masters anger not to mention hers! And disappeared.

Soon she could be seen standing before Black!

The world remained motionless but she wasn’t! Immediately after Luna broke Aien’s legs and had him prostrate and kneel before her Master.

All this happened in the time Aien took to blink! Now he saw himself kneeling before the man who was laughing so sinisterly! Who he wanted to kill.

Then his emerald gaze caught sight of an unknown woman standing beside the mortal! She was dressed in a maid outfit!

Although her face was blurred by a vail of darkness! He could atleast tell that she was a wolf by the furry-black wolf tail behind her!

Aien’s mind was still in the process of understanding what just happened! And how he was here! Who this maid was? When a mind numbing pain assaulted his mind.

"Aanngghhnn.. "

He grunted! His face distorted.

"Wh.. Wh.. My.. Legs.. "

Aien wasn’t even out of the shock that his legs were now broken! His eyes widened in horror as he preceived the presence of a foreign energy in his body!

He shuddered! Even forgetting to breath when he realized that the unknown energy had completely suppressed him!

Making him so weak now that even a rank 1 individual would be easily able kill him! And he couldn’t do anything to stop that.

He was completely and utterly powerless against the foreign energy in his body! He didn’t even know when it entered his body.

"Are you regretting it now! Aien Feran’zin!!"

Black spoke in an indifferent voice! But the slight curl in his lips and the cruel glint in his eyes told a completely different story! It was the expression of a sadist.

Aien trembled.

A cold chill clawing at his heart. "Wh- What did you do. Mortal!!?" He uttered! His throat heavy with fear! His tone carrying his confusion and horror!

But Aien was still able to maintain his sanity.

All because of who he was! And also because of the presence of an Elder from the family he served under.

Meanwhile Black without replying immediately summoned his long-sword! The flawless blade gleamed under the bright light.

At this moment the old man; Elder Aldric finally came out of his shock!

"Young man! I would advice you not to make any rash decisions!" Aldric echoed with calmness but the quiver in his voice was plain as day!

His expression grim! His silvery-whitish gaze focused on the wolf maid standing beside the unknown man! His mind shaken by her mere presence.

He clenched his jaws. His gaze refocused on the mortal man.

"Though I don’t know who you’re Mortal. But I’m sure you don’t want to become an enemy of the Evergreen Family correct."

"However if you harm a Knight of the Family then no matter the reason we’d be forced to retaliate against you. As it would be a disgrace to our name otherwise."

The old man tried to intimidate! And seeing that the mortal has stopped in his actions! He nodded inwardly! Regaining his confidence.

He gave another glance to the wolf maid. Examining her! Aldric could tell that she was indeed a Pseudo-Divine.

However he didn’t think he would actually loose to her even if a battle broke out. And looking at her blurry face.

He concluded that she must have used a concealment type artifact to abduct Aien from under his nose when he had his guard down.

Meaning there was no need for him to be so overly cautious of her! She had merely caught him off-guard and nothing else.

Now Aldric could understand why the mortal was able to kill those two Ascension Level 87 guards! And how that woman had survived from Aien’s surprise attack.

’Yes! The artifact! As long as I don’t give her the time to use it and hide herself. I don’t think it would be hard for me to defeat her.’

Regardless He was still cautious!

The question still remained who this independent pseudo-divine was! And as an independent existence why was she serving under a mortal.

Or perhaps she wasn’t really independent and the mortal indeed had a high background! Enough to compel an actual pseudo-divine to become his guard!

"How about you let Knight Aien go! Mortal. I don’t think there is any unresolvable enmity between you two! He is just a father who was consumed by sorrow and attacked your woman. It was all but a mistake."

"As for the death of Riaz Feran’zin. I heard; It was he who had provoked you first! And I too think that his death was totally reasonable! So there is no need for you to take things so far."

Black looked at and heard the old man with a calm gaze. Even though his words indeed sounded like a request! But he didn’t miss the commanding tone it carried.

His gaze focused on Aien; who trembled. ’A mistake he says.’

"What Sir Aldric said is completely true! Mortal. My mind was so consumed by grief at the death of my son! That I didn’t even realize that it was my own son who had provoked you first! By demanding your woman."

"If I.. I had known! Then I would’ve killed him myself. So I don’t think you did anything wrong! Mortal."

"It is but a misunderstanding and a bad mistake!.. A wrong decision made by a grief-stricken father! That we stand against each other."

"But now that I know of my son’s failure! I know that I was wrong; therefore I apologize for attacking your woman in my anger."

Aien Feran’zin uttered with sincere expression! He didn’t even care about the death of his son anymore! He just wanted to save his life!

That was all that mattered to him.

The arrogance Aien showed a few moments ago was nowhere! He didn’t even care that he had become a laughing-stock in the eyes of so many people.

The fear of being suppressed! Not being able to do anything! The fear of loosing his life so pathetically! Meaninglessly! Had already made his mind numb towards everything else.

Aien was honestly even more terrified of the mortal and the woman standing beside then he was terrified of the old man who came with him.

Meanwhile Aldric laughed! And started advancing towards Black! His strides unhurried.

"See; how noble and righteous the Knights of our Evergreen Family are. How quickly Knight Aien realized his mistake and apologized! And even condemned the action of his own son."

"Hahaha.. Now; why don’t you let him leave- " Aldric came to an abrupt halt. Both in his steps and his words.

"Do you really believe that I’m afraid of your Evergreen Family! Frost Elf?"

Black questioned! His lips curled! His hands going over Luna’s slender waist as he pulled her closer!

"Do you think that just an apology would be enough! Saying that it was a mistake would be enough! And using the Evergreen name would be enough."

"Do you genuinely believe that you can intimidate Me! By using the name of a mere Pseudo-Divine Family! Laughable- that is what your actions seems in my eyes! Old Elf."

"Didn’t you hear what I said earlier.. Even if you beg- I won’t forgive!!"

Black smirked! Followed by a smooth motion of his right hand! Result- Aien Feran’zin beheaded.

*Slash!~* *Spurt!~* *Spray!~* *Thud!~*

"I Won’t Forgive!!" He repeated! His voice cold yet the smirk didn’t leave his face!

The old man simply watched what happened in bewilderment! His mind unable to process what he just witnessed.

"Fatherrr!!"

Jaden; who had remained silent all this time! Finally erupted upon seeing the headless corpse of his Father! His emerald eyes turned bloodshot! Full of rage.

"Bastard. Killing my younger brother wasn’t enough! You even killed my Father."

Jaden spoke in hatred! And without thinking anything charged forward! He covered the hundred meter distance and was upon Black in a second.

Immediately summoning his spear! Jaden stabbed! And was just about to deploy his partial-domain when he suddenly saw his world spinning!

Then his headless body slumping on the ground! His blood spraying and pooling the ground. ’How? No.. ’

His head hit the ground!

The life in his eyes faded! His unwilling soul and chaotic consciousness consumed by eternal darkness.
