CHAPTER 71: THE DIVINE’S — REASON!!?

"Ugh.."

Black grumbled inwardly all the while killing all the admiration he felt towards Evelynn earlier because of her otherworldly strength.

How can he respect and admire her strength when she downright declared that she only took him as a disciple to just beat him up later, with such a straight face too.

Nevertheless Black took in a deep breath inwardly.

There was no point in thinking nonsense now, since no matter what the reason, she was his Master now.

’And she is strong! Absurdly strong! By how Luna described her! She has both the ability and the strength to become my Master! As long as she could make me strong too, I don’t care what method she uses to achieve that.. all that mattered is that it works and I become.. strong!!’

Black mused in his mind. All the while collecting his thoughts together!!.

’Hm!!’ He nodded in his head.

Besides the thought of becoming stronger that was born in his mind after his brief encounter with Ava’ross had now solidified completely and had become even more prevalent in Black’s mind.

Since It was a really big shock to him when he learned that his potential as a progenitor or rather his identity as one had already drawn the interest of Divine Being while he himself currently doesn’t even have a complete transformation core.

Although He didn’t know, how those Divine’s were going to form a relationship with him or even why they had to form one or just what was it that a proginetor had that could help them in there ascension to the next Phase nonetheless he didn’t care either. So, as long as whatever they did wasn’t something harmful towards him, it was alright.

He sighed in his mind getting out of his pondering state thereafter directing his golden gaze towards Evelynn.

His expression returning to normal, the earlier matter becoming of no concern to him now, hence he opened his mouth.

"What are these Cosmic Laws that you talked about earlier.. Master!!"

With pursed lips, He questioned, his tone neutral, not showing any emotions or fluctuations that would give away what he was currently feeling, his gaze locked with her amethyst one.

...

"Ugh.. "

He grunted under his breath.

"It’s morning already, Huh?" Black muttered as the sleep consuming him slowly began to fade, the warm sun-light hitting his face from the side window.

His tired and overloaded mind from all the knowledge Evelynn had shared with him last night over the course of there dinner had completely calmed down now with the good sleep he had over the night!!

"Hmm!!"

He raised his brows when he heard the sudden purring sound forcing him to turn his golden gaze towards it, in curiosity. Only to see Zephyr curled up within his arms.

Compelling a welcome smile to grace his lips when he thought about how she had firmly denied to sleep within a separate room last night and boldly followed after him to his new bedroom after the dinner besides it’s not like he had any problem, he too didn’t want to sleep alone in his large room or without her either.

A minute later..

"I can’t believe that it’s really happening to me!!"

Black mumbled absent-mindedly now staring at the rooms ceiling.

A slight breeze of wind coming through the opened window hitting his face and stirring the classy curtains.

Then he remembered Evelynn’s words regarding how the Divine’s were going to form a relationship with him or why.

Apparently the reason as for why the Divine’s needed to form a relationship with him was simply because they wanted him to evolve them into a Quantiarch, that is into a member of his own race.

Therefore, to that end, to guarantee there ultimate evolution to a Quantiarch, what better way was there for them other than to come into a familial relationship with him, with the progenitor itself.

These two revelations had thoroughly left his mind boggled, they wanted to come into a relationship with him so that they could later guarantee their ultimate evolution into a Quantiarch.

At that time he also finally understood what Freya had ment in the bathroom when she had talked about his wives. Since that was how they were going to form a relationship with him, by marrying there daughters off to him thus becoming a part of his family.

Furthermore it was not to say that Black was against the proposal of marriage or even evolving them into a Quantiarch instead he would be more than happy to do that yet he was.. more like he was.. more confused and baffled.

As to why they wanted to evolve into a Quantiarch or rather how can there evolution to a Quantiarch could help them ascend to the next phase.

He even asked questions such as —

Don’t they take pride in there own race.

Does they really think so low of there own race.

Besides if they really do think that way than why should he evolve them into a member of his own race when they don’t even take pride in ther own bloodline and are willing to forsake it.

He couldn’t help but feel disgusted and repulsed when he thought about it since he couldn’t understand why they were willing to marry off there daughters and even forsake there current bloodline just to evolve into a Quantiarch.

He couldn’t evolve such people who were so unloyal and unfaithful towards there own bloodline into a member of his own bloodline, now could he!!?

However when Evelynn explained to him the reason why that was the case he was further left dumbfounded again.

The reason was rather simple too, as for why they wanted the progenitor to evolve them into a member of his own race since it was also related to there bloodline itself.

Since the higher the bloodline of an individual is the more closer are they towards there bloodline.

Furthermore a higher tiered bloodline also aids the individual in his comprehension of the Cosmic Laws the bloodline contain.

Additionally the bloodline itself also both restricts and aids them in there assencion to higher level.

Meaning the higher the bloodline tier of an individual is the easier it is for that individual to reach a certain level of assencion and vice versa.

Then the lower tier bloodline would also pretty much restrict there assencion to higher levels completely thus becoming shackles instead.

Besides those shackles would further impede there growth and decrease there potential as an individual.

Then to shatter these chains, these shackles imposed upon an individual by there current bloodline they would have to ultimately evolve it and if they couldn’t do that.

Then they would be stuck in there current level forever.

Therefore although the Divine’s themselves had rather higher tiered bloodlines and were indeed proud of there current bloodlines yet there current bloodline tier still couldn’t overshadow the allure of reaching the next phase after becoming a Quantiarch.

Moreover they could’ve indeed evolved there current bloodline to a higher tier instead of choosing to become a Quantiarch however for them to do that they would need an astronomical amount of natural resources which was also impossible for a single Divine to collect if they didn’t have the necessary strength to compete with the other Divine’s.

They weren’t like Evelynn after all!!

Therefore it was much more feasible for them to help the progenitor in whatever way they could and further provide some benefits so that he could evolve them into a member of his own race later when he too becomes strong enough.

That would surely give them a bloodline strong enough that would surely help them in there ascension to the next phase.
