After drying his hair and putting on the gray Karakura High School uniform, Ren went down to the first floor, this time wearing dark black sunglasses instead of a blindfold.

As he descended, the smell of a warm breakfast hit his senses, teasing his hungry stomach after a long, restless night.

"Good morning..." — he yawned lazily as he reached the first floor, seeing Tsukiko in the kitchen finishing up while Yuzu and Amagi were elegantly setting the table.

As for the old man, he appeared beside him in an instant, delivering a strong kick to his midface, while Karin watched TV with a bored expression.

Swish!

The sound of the kick slicing through the air was sharp and harsh, but Ren didn't hesitate—he bent slightly to avoid it while clasping his hands together in a familiar Naruto anime move.

"Leaf Village Secret Finger Jutsu: One Thousand Years of Death!" — without hesitation, Ren wrapped his hands in Reiatsu and aimed it at Isshin's backside.

He felt disgusted at the thought of stabbing the old man with his hands, so he relied on Reiatsu instead.

"Hah!?" — Isshin screamed, trying to retreat quickly, but his reaction wasn't enough against Ren's sudden speed.

Pfff!

His shocked and pained cry accompanied a comical forward jump as everyone froze for a moment, including Karin, who stopped changing the channel; Tsukiko, who paused mid-spoon; and Yuzu, who gasped in disbelief.

"As expected from my son." — Isshin raised his thumb with a smile more grotesque than tears, his other hand clutching his backside, red with pain and mild embarrassment. He hadn't expected his son to respond so fiercely to a mere light kick.

"Good morning, old man." — Ren smiled with a refreshing expression, feeling much better seeing his father's condition, knowing he had been burying a lot in his heart.

"Oh, it seems you've learned how to respond to a morning greeting in your own style!" — Isshin said in a trembling voice, trying to regain his composure, but it was impossible given the way he held his waist and swayed in pain.

Yuzu chuckled lightly, trying to suppress her laughter behind her hand, while Tsukiko sighed with a long, frustrated look, saying wearily:

"I swear, you two are going to bring this house down someday."

Amagi stared at the scene with slightly widened eyes, trying to remain calm despite the twitch at the corner of his mouth, betraying the urge to laugh.

"Huh… apparently this house isn't safe even in the morning." — Ren muttered as he sat on a chair, and Amagi, his loyal servant, quickly placed a cup of hot chocolate in front of him, knowing he wasn't really a coffee person.

"Thank you." — he nodded, taking a slow sip, feeling the refreshing sweetness spread through his body before opening his eyes and asking, "By the way, where is Nii-san? I heard he lost to Aizen's Arrancar."

At the mention of Ichigo, everyone froze and stared at Ren in shock—not because he knew about Ichigo's loss, but because of the way he addressed him. It had been over five years since Ren last used that nickname for Ichigo.

"..." — Yuzu and Karin stared at Ren with wide eyes, but there was unmistakable joy in their gaze, happy to see their cold older brother from six years ago return.

'Seems like I made the right decision to remarry and give him a new mother,' — Isshin thought softly, feeling relieved, having been especially worried since Ren became a Shinigami, always fearing he might walk the path of darkness, especially since Aizen would be pleased if Ren joined him.

Even Tsukiko, Isshin's new wife, could only smile tenderly.

"Ichi-nii went to Hirako-san and the others to learn how to control the Hollow power inside him." — As everyone experienced different emotions about Ren's change, Karin answered his question.

"I see. By the way, Yoruichi-neesan, do you know where they are?" — he nodded toward Karin before turning his gaze to the black cat lazily sitting on the back of the sofa.

Although he could locate the Visoreds if he extended his senses, he didn't. He preferred being guided by a beautiful woman in the form of a cat instead of going alone.

The cat slowly opened her half-lidded golden eyes, letting out a short sigh, as if she had expected the question all along.

"Hoooh… haven't seen you for a whole month, and now you come back asking for a favor?" — Yoruichi's voice carried her usual playful sarcasm as she stretched lazily on the couch like a queen enjoying her time.

"Favor? No, just relying on your expertise, Yoruichi-neesan." — Ren replied with a slight sideways smile, putting the cup aside and resting his chin on his hand.

"Or maybe I just missed hearing your beautiful voice in cat form."

"Hmm… your mouth's still sweet as ever." — Yoruichi said, slowly rising from the couch and lightly jumping onto Ren's shoulder, her tail swaying gently in front of his face.

"But fine, since you asked nicely… I'll consider helping you."

"Nicely?" — Ren raised an eyebrow lightly — "Seems your definition of 'nicely' is as strange as ever."

Yoruichi chuckled softly, then jumped again to sit on the table in front of him, raising her front paw and lazily licking her fur as she said:

"Hmm… they're training in the abandoned warehouse in the old industrial district, near the riverbank. But don't go there causing chaos, got it? Shinji isn't fond of uninvited guests."

"Chaos?" — Ren laughed lightly in a sarcastic tone, standing and adjusting the collar of his gray jacket.

"You know me well—I don't cause chaos… I just carry it wherever I go."

"Exactly what I meant." — Yoruichi muttered teasingly, yawning again.

"So, what do you say we go there together after school?" — he suggested — "Since Nii-san and I share Hollow power from the same source, I think I can help him better."

Yoruichi paused mid-lick, her golden eyes widening slightly, before the corner of her mouth curved into a mischievous smile.

"Hmm… didn't expect to hear something resembling brotherly concern from you after all this time." — she said, her voice a mix of humor and light surprise.

"Well, he's my twin after all." — he gave her a sarcastic smile, closing his eyes slightly — "So, are you coming or not?"

Yoruichi let out a short laugh, lightly flicking her tail, then jumped from the table to the floor in front of him.

"Hah, your twin, huh? Haven't heard you say it this calmly in a long time…" — she stretched lightly, lifting her head to him with a sly look — "Well, seems I can't refuse an offer like that."

"Then it's settled." — he smiled, gently patting the cat's head as Yuzu and Amagi finished setting the breakfast table.

"Good morning." — At that moment, Rui came down, having finished her bath and hair drying, also wearing her uniform.

As for Hina, she was a teacher at the school, so she had breakfast earlier than everyone else and left.

And so the six gathered for breakfast, laughing and joking together. As for Yoruichi, she returned to meowing in front of Rui, who was not part of the supernatural world.
