Blessing Of Yuri Goddess
Chapter 330 38 - Evaluation Meetings
The gifts I gave Alice and Alyssa seemed to have triggered a special blessing on the keychains attached to their magic staffs.
I also felt the blessing after feeling my magical energy, which was being drained by the magic spell that mapped the area around me, being filled again.
"This is truly dangerous. If anyone finds out about this, these keychains will spark a bloodbath to steal them," I muttered after feeling the effects of the blessing bestowed by my Goddess on these three sets of keychains.
[ Fufu... scary, isn't it? ]
[ That's why I forced Lily-chan to buy these three pairs of keychains... ]
[ Oh! Don't forget! Items that have a blessing can only be used after performing the Linked Ritual together with Lily-chan. Without performing the Linked Ritual, they are just ordinary items that are being sold in the Yurification Shop. ]
"That makes me a little relieved," I continued to mutter after hearing this important statement from my Goddess.
No matter how I look at it, the Linked Rituals I frequently perform on other girls who catch my interest have a huge effect on every item sold in the Yurification Shop.
Kacling!!
Kacling!!
Alice and Alyssa, who were happy after receiving my gift, looked carefully at the keychains attached to their magic staffs.
The small movement will made their magic staffs make keychain sounds like humming their happiness at the gift I gave them.
Seeing them feeling happy like this, I gave Mio a wink signal to prepare breakfast.
"I will prepare your breakfast, Lily-sama," said Mio, who was now in her serious work mode.
Whether it was her escape for seeking a safe place from the high of magical energy exposure, Mio quickly disappeared from this central command tent.
Srrusshh...
With her quick footsteps, I felt like I was looking at a cat that had just been out, after take a bath.
"Haahaha... you must hate things that have magical exposure like this, Mio," I muttered after seeing Mio's actions of leaving quickly.
Tuukkk...
Tuukk...
Now, I tried to get the attention of the military officers who had entered this central command tent.
"Cough! Everyone... I want to do a quick evaluation of what we've found," I said, directing my still-active magic circle to show the map that had been previously explored.
Swiirrll...
Directing my magic circle formation, which was still active and contained the map inside, I placed my magic circle formation on the large round table.
By laying out the magic circle formation that have been mapped by the exploration of the stealth slime herd and the scouting troops, I tried to write a new map that was more accurate than the mapping done by Earl Timoti before.
After giving that order, I could see Alice and Alyssa's expressions grow more serious. This orders make several military officers to immediately place their reports on the large round table.
Bamm...
Praakk...
Several wooden boards used as bases for recording note and mapping the surrounding area were piled up around a large round table.
The positions on my right and left were filled by my twin sisters, while the rest were filled by military officers under the leadership of Alice and Alyssa.
"Well, as you already know. The goal of this military expedition is to find the dwelling place of the Elf race and map this dense forest accurately. The exploration that has been done by the stealth slime herd and the scouting troops has produced a map data exploration that is quite extensive compared to that done by Earl Timoti in winter or the people who were there decades ago," I said while moving the magic circle formation that was still actively mapping the surrounding area.
"The information regarding the plants that will grow in spring seems to be under Earl Timoti's predictions. What we need to do now is double-check so that the data predictions by Earl Timoti's became a definite data, not an estimate," I continued, nodding to Alyssa.
Nod...
My nod to Alyssa was like giving her permission to lead the evaluation that was being carried out.
Plaasshh...
Alyssa immediately took out Earl Timoti's copy of the map that had been scribbled on by her pencil.
"Lily-nee, please allow me to report on the topology of wild plants that have been discovered by the stealth slime herd and the scouting troops," Alyssa replied, nodding her head as if accepting my order to explain what she had discovered and report it.
Slllaass...
Alyssa immediately opened Earl Timoti's copy of the map and received a paper note from her military aide.
"The report I received has confirmed the location and types of plants found. Based on Earl Timoti's predictions, it is true that some plants grow according to his predictions. However, some wild plants grow as parasites on other plants. In addition, several magical plants also grow in spring like this," said Alyssa while showing a copy of the map filled with letters and numbers codes that only Alyssa knew.
Poopp...
Beside the large copy of the map, Alyssa showed a small piece of paper containing the meanings of the letters and number codes that her military aide had written down.
"Lily-nee, I have grouped the types of plants according to their importance and have confirmed the accuracy of Earl Timoti's estimate at seventy percent," Alyssa continued while showing a small piece of paper containing the names of the known plants.
"As for the plant samples that became evidence for this reports, I still haven't received them from the stealth slime herd and the scouting troops," Alyssa said to conclude her short report.
After listening to Alyssa's short report, I glanced at Aiko, who was standing behind me.
"Aiko..." I said, calling her name softly.
"Yes, Supreme Commander!" Aiko shouted, now releasing something from within her body.
Plookk...
Plookk...
Plookk...
From her slimy slime body, Aiko immediately gave a sample of the plant that had been taken by the stealth slime herd, neatly sealed in an airtight glass jar.
Several plant samples were lined up in front of me like a stack of glass jars used to display the plant samples that had been found by the stealth slime herd.
"This is all we could find, Supreme Commander!" Aiko continued, her voice full of confidence.
"Now we just have to wait for the scout troop to hand over their plant samples, huh?" I muttered with a sigh of relief after the several plant samples Aiko had reported had filled the center of the spacious round table and forced me to raise up the magic circle formation that was mapping the surrounding area.
As Aiko reported the samples taken by the stealth slimes, the entrance to the central command tent opened, revealing several male soldiers entering. They were carrying plant samples, body parts from animals, and wild monsters found along the path through the dense forest.
"A-Are we interrupting your meeting, Lily-sama?" asked one of the male soldiers, looking awkward after delivering several plant samples, body parts from animals, and wild monsters that the scout troops had found.
"U-Umm... Uhh... does Lily-sama still need the samples we've found?" he continued after looking at the pile of glass jars in the middle of the large round table.
"We still need some samples for an evaluation that maps the topology of wild plants, animals, and monsters. Please place the samples you have found on the table and continue your breakfast break before continuing your military expedition," I replied in a firm commanding tone.
Several male soldiers who entered immediately piled up glass jars containing samples of wild plants, animals, and monsters.
Seeing the various samples neatly arranged like that, I could only smile to appreciate the results of their hard work.
Plookkk...
Pllookk...
While watching the male soldiers stacking glass jars, I noticed a sample that appeared to be from a wild slime monster that grew on the edge of the dense forest.
I immediately glanced at Aiko, who seemed quiet to this.
"Aiko, I can see there… a sample that came from a wild slime monster," I said while glancing at Aiko.
Skiirrikk!!
Aiko's body suddenly trembled as if she were avoiding the conversation about that slime sample.
"Y-Yes, Supreme Commander?" she replied in a forced, innocent voice.
I immediately glanced at Alice to confirm this.
"Alice, are there any reports of wild slime monsters found by the scouting troops, or any mapping reports from Earl Timoti?" I asked Alice, noticing Aiko's suspicious behavior.
Hearing my question, one of the male soldiers who was stacking glass jars spoke to me.
"Lily-sama, we did find traces of wild slime monsters, but they have been completely slaughtered by other monsters. I saw their territory destroyed like an attack by wild, ferocious animals," said the male soldier from the scouting troop.
Just looking at the sample, I could tell it wasn't from a fight between a wild beast and a wild slime monster.
Alice and Alyssa seemed to understand this after seeing traces of magic spells left on the samples. This was further compounded by the presence of other evidence currently inside the central command tent.
Alice, Alyssa, and I immediately glanced at Aiko to hear her explanation directly.
Noticing the glances coming from me, Alice, and Alyssa. Aiko had to give in and report something that had happened to one of the wild slime monsters near the entrance to the dense forest.
"Do you have any explanation for this, Aiko?" I asked Aiko with a gentle smile.
"Hiieekk!!" Aiko, who was trying to calm down, panicked after seeing the gentle smile on my face.
"Don't worry, Aiko. I won't be angry with what you did, if you're honest..." I said while still smiling at Aiko.
"U-Uuuhh... W-We did encounter a herd of wild slimes that inhabited a damp place. When we encountered the herd of wild slimes, we want sharing information peacefully. However, we received a surprise attack from them as if we were invading their territory. So, we retaliated without leaving a single wild slime behind," said Aiko after explaining what had happened.
"Pffftt... it sounds like a fight between slimes," I said after finding out what had happened while holding back my laughter.
"S-Supreme Commander?"
The report given by Aiko sounded quite funny to my ears, and I tried not to laugh at what the stealth slime herd do, when they invading the territory of another slime herd.
This funny incident almost made me laugh out loud, but I tried to stay calm after understanding what had happened to one of the wild slime monsters that should have been included in the list of inhabitants of this dense forest.
"Yup, that's quite a shame after one of the wild slime herds went go extinct," I said while holding back the laughter that almost slipped out of my mouth.
