Blood Awakening: The Strongest Hybrid and His Vampire Bride
Chapter 520: A New Mother's Changes
Chapter 520: A New Mother’s Changes
Nikolai opened his eyes slowly because of a strange wetness that dripped down his neck, waking him from his peaceful sleep. “Mm?” His throat stung as if he swallowed needles, but his eyes snapped open from a sharp throbbing pain.
He glanced down at a pretty face and fluffy white hair with a familiar scent. Nikita buried her fangs in his flesh. She chewed his neck, with drool leaking from her plump, red lips. It was quite alluring.
“Nnnn~” That’s when her eyes met his.
He watched her with half-open eyes as she sucked on his neck like a dog, and even though she noticed his gaze. Nikita continued chewing for a few moments before she pulled away with a wet, slimy pop.
Threads of her drool connected to his neck.
Nikita sucked them into her mouth without shame.
“You’re finally up, baby? I was a little hungry…”
“Y….yeah, my head is killing me.” Nikolai shifted on the bed and grabbed her tightly in his arms. “Do you feel good, is my blood enough?” He spoke with a calm, gentle tone that caused Nikita’s hair to stand on end, her cheeks turning red as he smirked at her like a devil.
Then he slid one hand under her jaw and pulled her head to the side and whispered in a low, husky voice. “I’m going to bite you.”
His fangs grew longer before he sank them into her pale throat.
“Hnnngh!”
There was no resistance as she hugged his chest with a light whimper. She trembled and covered her mouth to mask the loud moans that slipped from her throat.
‘Her blood has changed…’
A sweet, full-bodied taste, now with a subtle and mellow tang that followed. He gulped Nikita’s blood slowly, savouring the new flavour… and from her grip, he noted that her strength increased greatly, along with the fact that her body started recovering.
“Nn… I love when you bite me so affectionately.” Her arms hugged his head tighter, pulling him closer as if to melt together into one.
Nikolai answered by sucking another mouthful, his tongue sliding along her wound. The cooling sensation spread through her body, making her shudder as a sigh escaped her lips. “Ahh… that’s it”
Nikolai dragged his fangs free slowly, with a gentle flick, licking the crimson beads that clung to the small marks. The wounds closed almost immediately, leaving only the faintest red marks.
“You’ve become more beautiful.” He nuzzled her cheek while brushing his thumb across her lips. “…and tasty.”
Nikita rolled over him, lying against his bare chest with her back, lazily lounging with her eyes closed. Her cheeks glowed faintly red in the morning light. “Really? That makes me so happy to hear.” She nuzzled closer, resting her head against his chest and looking up at him with a cute expression. “The doctor said the bond between us would become deeper once I gave birth. Ehehe.”
He smiled back while squishing her cheeks. “Is that why your blood is so darn tasty?” Nikolai wrapped himself around her back and let out a soft voice. “Then we’ll stay tangled forever.”
“Nn? But what if the nurse comes in… I can feel your hard thing against my butt, what if I can’t hold back?”
Nikolai didn’t respond for a while, causing her to look up at him while frowning. “Why did you stop speaking?”
“Ah, well, I just realised it’s too late for that worry.” He then pointed to the two nurses, blushing with their charts. “Look.”
“Kyaaa!? Don’t look at his cock!”
The poor nurses suffered Nikita’s jealous wrath first thing in the morning. While the man himself just sat quietly with a grin on his face, she pointed and growled at them.

Not long after, Nikita walked slowly with help from Nikolai and a cane. The birth of three children is enough to cripple the strongest werewolf.
Nikolai supported her carefully, one arm around her waist as they passed through the bright, warm corridor of the medical wing.
The faint cries of newborns echoed ahead of them. Soft and fragile sounds filled the air with a strange harmony.
Nikita’s fingers clutched his sleeve tightly. Her legs trembled, despite the messy hair and her body still a little sweaty from the poor cloth bath earlier, her eyes shone with bliss. “It till doesn’t feel real…. how cute are they?” She whispered while stroking Viktoria’s smooth cheek. “Were these ugly, yet lovely things inside me?”
She looked back at him with a beaming face.
Nikolai’s chest thrummed at the sight.
His children and wife.
“They are,” Nikolai said softly, smiling down at her. “Viktoria, Daria, and Elizaveta. Our miracles.”
At that, Nikita’s lips curved into the faintest smile. “You sound like an old man already…” she teased weakly.
“I hope to grow old with you.”
“Ack~~ stop being so sweet, I’ll bite you!”
Despite her sharp tone, she leaned against him, her warmth and weight comforting to Nikolai. He constantly watched her and the babies with his Obsidian Eye to ensure nothing went wrong.
‘So even Nikita has become some kind of Hybrid now…’
It didn’t mean she suddenly became a half-vampire, but he could sense it in her blood. She could probably use the same Báthory blood art he did, the one that allowed him to avoid a dangerous blow sometimes.
The babies needed two days for special checks, something Sasha and the doctors requested. And so, despite wanting to hold them, Nikita and Nikolai could only settle for stroking their cheeks.
Only during feeding time would Nikita sit with them in a special room.
“Can we stay here, Nikolai?”
The medical cribs with small blankets and tubes made his heart ache. He never experienced this before. ‘The human books didn’t say anything about this…’ But thinking again, he realised he was the first complete hybrid.
“I’ll stay with you.”
Nikita let go of him and limped toward the cribs, her trembling hand brushing over each baby’s soft cheek. Viktoria yawned first, then Daria kicked her blanket, and finally, little Elizaveta opened her silver eyes, almost glowing in the light.
‘Wow…’
Nikolai realised those comments about how, when you have children, you want to boast and call your child a genius or special. Yet he could feel that his children were likely more special than anyone else’s.
He paid attention to their movements and sensed that Viktoria was already actively absorbing energy from the air… from Nikita’s touch and his… storing it in her little tummy.
The exhaustion in his body vanished… “They’re perfect,” he whispered
Nikita turned back with a strange smile and tears slipping down her cheeks. “I’m so happy I feel like crying.”
“You are crying, idiot.” He teased before wrapping an arm around her waist again. “But you’re allowed, just this once.”
Time passed faster than Nikolai expected.
He watched the children for almost three hours before moving. Nikita bit her lips and started fidgeting in his embrace… “Nikolai… let me go… it’s leaking…”
“Hm?”
She looked up at him with red cheeks. “The baby’s milk…”
Nikolai blinked, glancing down at her chest before a slow grin crept across his lips. “Ah, so that’s what that sweet smell was. I thought the nurse dropped her coffee.”
Her face flushed an even deeper shade of red. “Idiot! Don’t joke about that!” she hissed, swatting his chest, though her strength was nowhere near enough to move him.
He chuckled softly before brushing the hair out of her face, tying it up gently with a spare bobble. “Alright, alright. Come on, let’s get you seated before you explode.”
“I won’t explode!” She puffed out her cheeks, trying not to laugh. “You make it sound like I am some kind of inflatable cow…”
“I’d never,” he said with mock sincerity. “Cows don’t look this beautiful when they’re angry and… well, they’re much bigger right now.”
“NIKOLAI!”
Nikita walked towards the safely, contamination-free room, with a milking device which would collect the excess milk in case they became hungry after she slept.
She turned around at the door and pulled out her tongue.
“Pervert.”
“Your pervert,” he whispered, leaning down to press a kiss against her forehead. The tension in her body melted, and she leaned into his touch and kissed him gently.
“Later… kiss me later.”
Nikolai stood as he watched the nurses in special outfits carrying each little bed to the special room. He saw Nikita sitting on the soft chair, her golden eyes closing as she leaned back nervously.
‘She looks so pretty right now.’
He enjoyed it when she opened her gown, the swollen cherries at the end of her pillows leaking a dull white milk.
‘At least one size bigger…’
The feeding process took longer than he imagined, with Nikita’s head lulling back on the chair as she slept the moment Viktoria stopped drinking.
The nurses then took the babies and gently handled them; each one carried the same scent as Nikita, and though he could see through the illusion, their faces also resembled hers.
That’s when he sat beside her.
‘Must be Nagisa’s power…’
“Is it because of werewolves and how they bond with their mothers? I don’t know enough… let’s ask mother when I get the chance.”
He froze for a moment after speaking.
‘Wait…’
Then his lips curled into a bigger smile, his face beaming like Nikita’s from earlier. ‘I managed to bring mother back!’
“I did it.”
His sleepy voice trailed off as Nikolai slipped into a light nap beside Nikita.
