The story takes us back fourteen years.

After killing the envoy, the Priest Elders of the North Mountain Tribe secretly arranged for the Halfdan family to flee; however, they ultimately did not succeed. After fleeing for three days and nights, they were eventually captured by the Elves.

Memories of what followed were vague for Lilith and Haral.

They only remembered their parents being killed by the Elves, the destruction of the North Mountain Tribe, and themselves being taken to a mysterious Magic Research Room where they were used as test subjects for various physical experiments each day.

It was an utterly painful experience; every day, they were injected with various strange liquids by the Elves, or used as experimental subjects for various mysterious Spells and rituals.

Until one day, during a major sacrificial experiment, an unfamiliar voice resounded in their ears.

The voice, indistinguishable as male or female, wanted to make a contract with them, the terms of which involved sacrificing everything they had in exchange for the power to exact revenge on the Elves.

In utter despair, they did not hesitate and agreed on the spot.

By the time the sacrifice was complete, Lilith and Haral had almost instantly gained immense power.

They killed all the surrounding Elves and destroyed the tower where the magic experiments were conducted, but simultaneously, their minds spiraled towards madness.

They could not recall what happened afterward.

When they regained consciousness, their sanity had been restored, and the great powers they had acquired from the contract had disappeared.

At the same time, their minds burgeoned with extensive knowledge about Transcendent powers which perfectly integrated with the knowledge Charlotte had already imparted to them.

Although Lilith and Haral lost the powers obtained from the mysterious entity's contract, they quickly grew stronger using their special abilities and established a resistance organization against the Tower Country.

In less than five years, the organization resisting the Tower Country evolved into a colossal force, and under the leadership of Lilith and Haral, successfully overturned the reign of the Tower Country.
