Free City State, City of Dawn.

In the great hall of the central Tower, fifty "lucky ones" from various cities and tribes stood in a row, their faces lit with excitement and anticipation.

Some of them were in their twenties, others only eight or nine years old, but most were in their teens.

Transcendent soldiers clad in elf gear lined both sides of the hall, holding their long swords high, with heads held proudly erect.

In the center of the hall, on the prominent stage that attracted everyone's attention.

There stood Charlotte, dressed in a resplendent robe.

She still bore the nearly adult appearance, with silver hair and crimson eyes, tall in stature, a pale golden glow swirling within her pupils, with crimson Divine Power enveloping her.

She gently lifted both hands, and the light of Divine Power burst forth suddenly; the next moment... a crimson mist shrouded the entire hall.

Inside the hall, the fifty "lucky ones" surrounded by Divine Power felt a gentle strength enter their bodies.

They sensed that force swiftly coursing through them, they felt something deep within their souls slowly awakening.

When the radiance faded and the crimson mist also dissipated, they only felt a significant enhancement of their senses and a subtle leap in physical quality.

And when they looked around, they could even faintly perceive the flow of Magic Power in the air.

"Magic Power... it's Magic Power! I can feel the Magic Power mentioned in the books!"

"This is... Transcendent power! We really possess Transcendent power now!"

Feeling a certain power emerging from within, they revealed their excitement, then bowed deeply toward Charlotte on the stage:

"Praise you! The great Savior! The esteemed Transcendent mentor!"

"Praise your mercy! Praise your Divine Gift!"

Within the hall, a fervent cheer erupted, as people devoutly and zealously worshipped Charlotte.

Charlotte exhaled softly, masking the fatigue in her eyes.

She nodded slightly, acknowledging the crowd with a nod, then, amid gazes of worship and admiration, she turned and left.

It wasn't until she had left the hall and dismissed others that Charlotte finally sighed in relief.

She rubbed her somewhat swollen temples, feeling the consumption of Blood Divine Power, momentarily unsure whether what she had done held any meaning.

Ten days had passed since she arrived in the City of Dawn.

And this had been her second "Divine Grace Bestowal."

The consumption from "Divine Grace Bestowal" was slightly heavier than Charlotte had anticipated.

It wasn't about Divine Power, as Charlotte had not used much of it.

Her expenditure was mainly in terms of mental energy.

Considering her identity as a Bloodline, the Transcendent power Charlotte infused into these "lucky ones" was not very strong, but rather aimed at stimulating and enhancing their innate potentials.

This required a high control of Divine Power, and even for Charlotte, who had ignited the Divine Fire, it necessitated cautious execution.

After all, the strength of the Bloodline was quite domineering.

Especially since Charlotte's bloodline had undergone multiple transformations, her blood had become indistinguishable from that of a "True Ancestor." Had she given too much power during the "Awakening," these people could have turned into crazed monsters due to their inability to handle the power of the Bloodline.

Of course, Charlotte could have turned these lucky ones into Bloodline descendants through the First Embrace.

But Charlotte didn't do so.

The First Embrace required giving her own blood to the other party. Not to mention whether these mortals could bear the blood of Charlotte, who was now a demigod, she wouldn't carelessly offer her blood.

The blood of the Bloodline was precious, containing the source power of the Bloodline. Unless it was for creating the most basic Blood Servants, the First Embrace was also a significant expenditure for the Bloodline.

For Charlotte, her blood was even more special.

Without having fully grasped the power of Mythical beings, in this era where deities roamed about, carelessly giving out her own blood could likely become a tool for other gods to use against her.

Charlotte was after all only looking to help the Free City State enhance its Transcendent strength, and the Free City State... was not worth that step yet.

Of course, even so, the Transcendent power Charlotte helped the Awakened Transcendents to possess still carried some characteristics of the Bloodline, to a greater or lesser extent.

For instance, many people's powers veered towards the Dark system, many acquired powers similar to the Bloodline, such as extraordinary Recovery Power, and explosive strength, among others.

However, although "Divine Grace Bestowal" was rather energy-consuming, Charlotte had become interested in it after the first implementation.

There was nothing more to it.

Charlotte found that this way of helping others "Awaken as Transcendents" also served as a form of spiritual power training for herself.

Charlotte's power had been growing too rapidly of late, so much so that she struggled to adapt to her current strength.

It was akin to how she used to accidentally crush teacups when she first entered a tier, unable to properly gauge her strength, Charlotte, whose physical prowess now approached the Legendary, was experiencing something similar.

Moreover, because she had ignited the Divine Fire and fused a second Faceless Divine Statue to further enhance the power of her Divine Fire, this phenomenon had become even more pronounced.

When she had just "crossed over," it directly drew the arrival of the God of Hatred and Deformation. Besides her having eliminated that deity's Favored, the aura of Divine Power she emitted incessantly, like a beacon in the dark, was a significant factor.

Put in layman's terms, Charlotte's steadily increasing spiritual power could no longer satisfy the intensity of her growing Divine Fire and Divine Power.

Now, through the method of "bestowal of Divine Grace," she could further enhance her own control over her power, tempering her spirit.

In a way, it was a win-win situation.

The only problem was the consumption of Divine Power.

Charlotte pondered that ultimately, it could not be only about expenditure; she still needed to find opportunities to increase her Divine Power.

Leaving the hall, Charlotte climbed the stairs leading to the upper levels of the Tower.

When she arrived at the library of the upper levels, Haral had already been waiting for her.

"Teacher, you've worked hard. I have already selected all the books you wanted to look up for you," he said respectfully.

Charlotte nodded slightly upon seeing the thick volumes of elf books Haral had selected:

"Not bad."

Then, she looked around:

"Where is Lilith?"

"She has gone to Silver City. News has come from there of a possible trace of the Divine Position fragments you require. She went to investigate personally. Additionally, there has been unrest among the followers of the Old Gods lately; they need to be suppressed."

Haral explained.

Upon hearing his words, Charlotte nodded in understanding.

The Old Gods referred to deities like the God of Hatred and Deformation, said to have once been asleep across Mireya and awakened accidentally by the Elf Clan.

Since the rise of the Free City States, these deities have greatly coveted the faith of the city-states, often engaging in various secret activities, even direct invasions.

The resistance led by Lilith and her colleagues fell apart due to these Old Gods.

It was only because Lilith and Haral were strong enough to barely contend with the Divine Artifacts left by the elves that they could attempt to resist.

Of course, it was only a barely held resistance. Charlotte estimated that if these deities truly intended to topple the Free City States, it probably wouldn't be difficult, yet they had not done so, hinting at hidden motives.

Charlotte mused that perhaps this had to do with the special abilities they "Awakened."

"Alright, I understand. I'd like to do some reading now; please don't let anyone disturb me."

Charlotte stated.

Haral respectfully acknowledged, bowed, and took his leave.

Soon, Charlotte was alone in the library.

It was only then that Charlotte eagerly turned her attention to the books Haral had selected.

These were the tomes left behind by the elves.

They were the spoils of war from Lilith and Haral's overthrow of the Tower Country.

At the same time, these tomes were the biggest surprise Charlotte had encountered since her "crossing over."

Taking a deep breath, Charlotte approached the desk.

She looked at the book on top, a hefty volume written on elf-specific enchanted paper, beautifully inscribed with elegant Elvish script.

Leveraging the Elvish language she had effortlessly mastered through the cheats provided by the Blood Holy Scripture, Charlotte easily read the words on the cover:

"Old Continent Brief History."
