CHAPTER 64: UNEXPECTED KISS (+18)

Noah’s heart seized when the woman boldly wrapped her arms around his waist beneath his coat, her body pressing tightly against his.

He could feel the warmth and softness of her body against his stomach, enough to raise his body temperature.

"Please help me, I will repay you..."

Noah was too busy to soothe his mind and missed her whispered words. He tried to steady his heartbeat while silently asking Zoe.

’Who is this woman?’

Their eyes lock as he hears Zoe’s words echo in his mind.

’She is Alexis Moore, a twenty-four-year-old heir to the Paragon Group. Her father owns seventy percent of the company’s shares. She has two siblings and is currently the CEO of Paragon Entertainment. Sir, would you like more information about her?’

’No need! But why does she avoid someone? Is she in danger?’ He asked curiously.

Noah silently gulped when he saw Alexis rest her head on his chest and her arms tightly wrap around him. This was the first time a woman had done that to him, except for his late mother or Alicia, his sister.

’This is the interesting part, sir. She is Jeremy Morgan’s fiancée. They are fighting before she comes out here and meets you.’

’Jeremy’s fiancée!!’

Noah couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

This coincidence left him speechless.

’What the hell happened here? This woman was Jeremy’s fiancée? And now she’s trying to flirt with me? Hugging me like she doesn’t want to let me go?’

Noah clenched his hand tightly. He refused to become the third wheel between Jeremy and this woman.

Before Noah could push Alexis away, the sound of the door opening echoed behind them.

And then a familiar voice shouted, ungrily, "Where the hell did she go? Hey, man, did you—"

Noah silently cursed, recognizing Jeremy’s voice. He looked down to see the woman still pressing her small body against him.

He was utterly surprised when her face moved nearer, and suddenly, her soft, cold lips met his.

The kiss was unexpected, but too beautiful to be unwelcome. Though surprised, Noah didn’t pull away. Instead, his stiff hands instinctively moved up, wrapping around her and pulling her closer.

As his tongue softly touched hers, he could feel how tense her tongue had become.

When he thought she wasn’t truly wanting the kiss but just pretending, he smiled teasingly and started to pull his head back. However, he could feel her hand wrapping around his neck, drawing him in.

He was momentarily stunned, but the pause quickly passed as he deepened the kiss.

Their tongues intertwined slowly, and with each gentle breath, she let out a soft moan that fueled his passion. He tenderly sucked on her tongue, showing gentle tenderness.

As he sensed her losing her balance and her hand gently pushing him away, he gradually began to pull back. His lips stayed on hers a moment longer before softly parting, leaving her breathless.

Their eyes locked onto each other; it surprised him when he noticed her lips were slightly parted, as if she had issued an invitation for him to kiss her again.

’Zoe, is Jeremy still behind?’

’No, sir. He left the moment you kissed her.’

His heart fluttered with confusion, torn between hooking up with this girl as a punishment to Jeremy Morgan for shamelessly snatching his VIP room. Yet, his rational mind wins once again.

He gently loosened his embrace and took a small step back, giving them a bit of space.

"The person who comes after you has already left." Noah calmly said.

Alexis was still shocked by her bold kiss with the stranger, but what surprised her even more was how that kiss had disturbed her feelings and made her crave more.

"T-Thank you for the help..." She responded while trying to steady her breathing and avoiding eye contact with him. She could feel her cheeks heat.

"No. Don’t mention it; you already paid it in full. The kiss was not bad at all." Noah calmly said that, but inwardly he cursed himself for having said it.

Seeing the girl’s cheeks clearly redden from blushing, Noah suddenly felt uneasy and wished to leave the balcony immediately. He couldn’t stay there any longer, or Jeremy might come back. He didn’t want to kill anyone out in the open like this.

After a few seconds of calming himself, he slightly nods and says, "Good night," before excusing himself. Without waiting for her reply, he turns toward the door.

"Uhm, sir, please wait!" Alexis called out and hurried after him.

Noah stopped and looked at her, asking, "Yes? Do you need anything else?"

"Excuse me, may I know your name?" Alexis nervously said as she quickly shared her thoughts. "Would you like to exchange phone numbers with me? I’d like to repay your kindness sometime. Maybe we could even arrange to have lunch or dinner together...what do you think?"

Noticing the man didn’t say anything, only staring at her with a slight frown, Alexis shamelessly continued, "No worries, all the bill will be on me." She can’t let this handsome man slip away from her grasp.

Noah was left speechless when he heard her words. This girl looks stunning. She has a bright family background, and her taste is sweet, which made him want to kiss her again.

But remember, he is Jeremy’s fiancée; all the good things about her become dull in his mind.

"Thank you, Miss. But you don’t need to do that..."

Alexis tightened her fists and asked, "Are you hesitant to give me your name and phone number because you’re worried about the man from earlier?"

Noah didn’t say anything, but Alexis continued to explain.

"He is my fiancé, but I never agreed to become his fiancée, let alone his wife—my parents forced me into it. At first, he respected my decision and agreed to fake our relationship. However, tonight, he unexpectedly changed his mind and wanted our relationship to become real."

Alexis took a deep breath, filling her stuffy lungs with fresh air before expressing her annoyance.

"Of course, I rejected his ridiculous idea, but he was furious! That’s why I ran to you and asked for your help..." Her face heated, and she felt ashamed to tell him this.

Noah, "..."

’Why do I have to hear Jeremy’s love story with this woman?’ Noah feels that he was unlucky to have encountered her, despite the kiss.
