Each of these weapons blueprints could be made by standard assembly line with the exception of the pairing part but so long as I made plenty of it that wasn't an issue. Still I had figured out what my "niche" was going to be for my company. Drake was going to be a company for gimmicks, things that pushed the envelope for the standard of the entire six galaxies. While I had no doubt the other companies will jump on the gimmick bandwagon eventually by then it would be too late as my companies name will already be number one in that area.-

Honestly I had to thank the Eridians for this as many of these ideas I took straight from their own weapons blueprints in the vast library in my head. The best part is there were plenty of other ones I could still copy to keep my companies image fresh. Beyond these prototypes though I created a special Eridian weapon for each of my friends finally as their prize from opening the vault. For Roland I flat out took his turret that he loved and gave it a MASSIVE fucking upgrade.-

Four barrels for faster firing, larger projected shield, customizable elemental damage modules, targeted mini missile launcher functionality and even the ability to be picked up while active for mobility. For Mordy I created a thin but highly durable exoskeleton for Bloodwing that had a monomolecular edged wings and claws coated in a customizable elemental damage type to make her even more of a nuisance in battle. He fucking LOVED it. Lil was a bit trickier as I had to consider her powers that she based the majority of her combat style around. In the end I simply designed her a pair of gloves that allowed her to condense her powers into her hands to form solid energy constructs so long as they were small enough.-

To no real surprise she tended to use these gloves to create the equivalent of lightsaber daggers. Brick was the easiest to make something for though as all I had to do was create a special set of exomuscles that covered both his arms and caused his punches to hit with several tons of force. Kinda terrifying to be honest as he could literally punch a tank apart now, my own personal discount hulk if you'd like.-

One Pandoran month later or roughly four galactic months after we exticted the crimson lance on Pandora Atlas finally seemed to realize something was wrong and sent their most competent military officer to deal with the problem, one General Knoxx. And woo boy did that man move fast as within a weeks time he had a huge base set up and had taken over the roads with various checkpoints and patrols over in the T-bone junction area. We honestly wouldn't have even found out he was preparing to wipe our asses off the face of existence if the higher ups of the lance hadn't decided to fuck over their most skilled Crimson assassin who was on her way to getting out of the company.-

Turns out Atlas doesn't like it when people try to retire through the proper processes and sent her and another squad to wipe out a certain village that "coincidentally" had the woman's sister in it. According to her message she didn't take that very well and went all revenge arc on their asses, max respect. Anywho she wanted Knoxx dead for it and saw us as convenient allies since the good general also wanted us dead cuz we unalived Steeles whole branch of the lance.-

"So this is T-bone junction huh? Who the fuck thought this place was a good idea?" I asked no one in particular after we arrived.

"Whats the problem? Seems like a pretty normal town to me." Mordy said confused.

"The problem is that the town is suspended above the ground several stories! This place probably needs a ridiculous amount of maintenance or it might fall at any time. Like what's the fucking point when you could have just as easily built the damn place on the ground?" I said annoyed at the sheer illogical design.-

"Does it matter? Lets just find Scooter so we can find that Athena chick and kill Knoxx." Brick said impatiently.

At that we left the building we arrived in and I had to admit that the view was pretty good if nothing else. T-bone junction was a decently sized town that had the unique location of being built on the highway that had been built by Dahl all so long ago to more easily move truckloads of stuff. The highway itself is one of the kinds suspended high above the ground however so the town itself was also quite high up. The place was actually quite well maintained too as the buildings and roads were weather worn but otherwise still fully intact.-

The road going through the town was wide and mostly smooth and we easily spotted Scooters branch shop here since it had a big ass sign out front with his name on it. Calling it a shop was a bit wrong though as it was more garage than anything with two incomplete vehicles sitting on lifts as he worked on them.

"Well shit on a brick I ain't thought I'd see you again so soon. Now i'ma say this in code and hope ya'll have the mental capacity to follow. Your "lady friend" told me to send you to "Moxxi's place" when you arrived. Not that you'll be gettin anywhere without a set of wheels though. As it happens I can fix that little problem of yours iffin your willin to help me out." Scooter said as he got out from under one of the vehicles and sat in a chair behind the desk at the side of the area.

"Why can't we just use the Catch-A-Ride?" Lil asked confused.

"That's because this areas branch of the Catch-A-Ride is separate from the one we use typically." I explained since I already knew from talking with Scooter previously.

It was a smart move on Scooters part as it meant that each of the different areas of the system weren't connected and thus couldn't be hacked all at once. If a problem showed up in the system it was isolated to a single part of the collective as a result. Made things a helluva lot easier to fix according to Scooter.

"Right on, Now I need three parts to finish up the monster here. A X-372 Supercharger NOT a 373 on account of it burning people alive and stuff, a big ol nitrous tank and an exhaust booger and I don't even know what it does just that I needs it." Scooter said before shooing us off.

The location for the first of the parts showed up on our mini maps and we left the shop to go grab it. so you know how I said the place was mostly intact, forget that shit cuz the part was on a balcony UNDER the rest of the town with the catwalk in the midst of being reclaimed by gravity due to lack of maintenance, fun stuff. -

The second part was located topside thankfully in a pile of spare tires but the moment we grabbed it an Atlas drop pod showed up and five skinsuit clad women with swords digistructed.

"Targets spotted, execute Omega sanction." the one without a mask who looked just like Athena said coldly.

"Lets dance ladies!" I said grinning as I charged the nearest one with my hands flaring up with destructive energy.

Clearly I caught the assassin off guard as she barely had time to react and try to dodge before my right hand tore through her chest and out her back as her shield broke instantly and the energy around my hand erased the matter in front of my palm.

"Ranged attacks!" the Athena-esque assassin commanded immediately seeing this and throwing stars started being hurled through the air at us.

My friends weren't just here for decoration though and returned hostility. Needless to say despite their speed and flexibility the assassins died in like a minute, two tops.

"Atlas has put out an Omega sanction on you. Five squads of elite assassins each progressively more dangerous than the last have been assembled to ensure the objectives completion. Your only advantage is their top operative recently... left their employ. Stay vigilant. Athena, out." Athena sent over the echo AFTER we killed the leader of the squad.
