CHAPTER 250: A NEW STAT (PART 1)
The spaceship soon reached the orbit above Planet Arkanis.
Because of the planet’s special status, numerous space channels had been established in the outer regions surrounding it, and anyone seeking entry was required to undergo strict inspections.
Azrael and the others entered the exclusive space channel designated for students of Slayers Academy, and after their identities were verified, they successfully passed through and entered the planet’s atmosphere.
Soon, the spaceship flew for a few more minutes before safely landing at the academy’s space station.
"I bet the other students and even Professor Ronald will be dumbstruck when they see we are about to reach the Epic Rank," Elyara said in a smug tone, already imagining the shocked expressions on their faces.
Luo Bingqing shook his head helplessly when he saw Elyara’s self-satisfied smile and decided to ignore her.
Meanwhile, Azrael quietly went to his room and carried No. 4 out, still unconscious.
When Elyara and Luo Bingqing saw her, both of them fell silent for a moment before Elyara finally spoke.
"Are you sure it was the right choice to bring her here? Not only is it against the rules for students to keep outsiders who aren’t part of the academy, but we didn’t even talk to her family before you brought her here."
Azrael shook his head at Elyara’s words.
"Don’t worry about the academy. I am not planning to keep her here," He said calmly, then paused for a moment before continuing, "As for her family, I will talk to her once she wakes up. If she has one and she wants to go back, I will send her home."
Elyara wanted to say more, but seeing Azrael’s composed expression, she sighed and stayed quiet.
"Are you planning to bring her to the Academy’s Health Center?" Luo Bingqing suddenly asked.
"Yes," Azrael nodded in response.
Since academy students often went on dangerous missions, many returned severely injured. Others sustained wounds during training, sparring, or while practicing various skills.
To manage these cases, the academy had established a health center staffed with numerous high-level healers.
Azrael had heard that the healers there specialized in various fields some treated physical injuries, others removed poisons or curses, and a few were even experts in healing souls.
Since Azrael suspected that No. 4’s condition was related to her soul, he intended to take her there.
When Luo Bingqing heard that Azrael was indeed planning to visit the health center, he nodded thoughtfully and suggested.
"How about I come with you? I know one of the senior healers there. He might be able to figure out what’s wrong with her."
Azrael raised an eyebrow, then nodded after thinking for a moment.
"Sure, let’s go together."
Luo Bingqing smiled slightly and said, "Let me return the spaceship first. We can head there after that."
As he spoke, all three of them exited the spaceship.
Luo Bingqing quickly stored the ship inside the storage ring he had received with it, then went to the spaceship station’s rental booth to return it.
Five minutes later, he came back, but there was a strange look on his face as he glanced at Azrael.
"What’s wrong?" Azrael asked, noticing Luo Bingqing’s expression.
Luo Bingqing quickly looked away and shook his head.
"It’s nothing," He said aloud, though inwardly he thought.
’What did he do in his room to leave such a deep cut on the wall? Those renters charged an extra 20,000 cosmic energy stones for that damage.’
Luo Bingqing recalled the cut they showed him and his mouth twitched slightly.
’To be able to cut so deeply into a Legend-rank material... just what kind of weapon did he use?’
Azrael didn’t think much of it when Luo Bingqing didn’t elaborate and simply shrugged his shoulders.
If he knew it was because he had tested Abyss on the spaceship’s wall, who knows what kind of expression he would have shown.
All three of them left the space station and headed to the parking lot where they had left their hover cars.
Because Luo Bingqing and Elyara ranked third and second respectively among the students, they both had their own personal hover cars that they could use freely.
Once they reached the parking lot, Elyara said goodbye to them and returned to her mansion, as she was preparing to break through to the Epic Rank and needed to organize some things first.
Azrael carefully laid No. 4 on the back seat of his hover car and sat in the passenger seat, instructing the car’s AI to take them to the health center.
Luo Bingqing also got into his own hover car and followed closely behind.
While they were on their way, Azrael’s student ID card suddenly vibrated. When he checked it, he saw a message from Mira, asking him to come to her office when he had the time.
’She already knows we are back, huh...’ Azrael thought, shaking his head slightly before replying that he would come by in two or three hours, after settling some matters.
Mira didn’t respond, and Azrael didn’t give it any further thought.
He then used his smart band to send a message to Oliver, asking if he could procure a potion that could help a wind-power user break through to the Epic Rank.
After sending the message, Azrael leaned back and glanced at No. 4 resting in the back seat.
’I hope her condition isn’t too serious...’ He thought with a sigh.
Because the health center was located near the space station, given how often students returned from missions injured, Azrael and Luo Bingqing reached it within a few minutes.
The health center looked like a typical hospital, but its building was much larger, consisting of more than a hundred floors.
Luo Bingqing and Azrael parked their hover cars in the parking lot and entered the building together.
Azrael had just stepped inside, carrying No. 4 in his arms, when his smart band suddenly vibrated again.
He glanced down and saw that it was a message from Oliver.
