A few people had tried to use powerful contacts to get roles. But it didn’t work.

The casting director didn’t even blink at their famous names or phone calls. He had made it clear, even if someone had a relationship with heaven, they wouldn’t get in unless they were good actors.

At the end of the day, he picked up his phone and called Micah, the head of the production house.

He explained everything that had happened: Maya’s outburst, her threats, Chloe’s performance, and the team’s final casting.

Micah listened carefully. When the call ended, he sat in his office chair, deep in thought.

He knew Maya. And more importantly, he knew the man behind her... her sugar daddy.

Maya’s sugar daddy wasn’t just rich. He was dangerous. Micah had once crossed paths with the man’s wife, and she wasn’t someone you wanted to upset, either.

When the call ended, she stood up and looked out at the trees.

Aurora took it all.

She uploaded everything online. Public forums, news agencies, and whistleblower websites were soon flooded with files.

People around the country began to see the truth.

And just like that, Aurora erased all traces of her hacking and disappeared into the shadows.

At the same time, in a tall glass building in the center of the city, Maya stood outside a fancy office lobby. She was wearing a tight dress, holding a designer purse, and had a proud smile on her face.

She had just called her sugar daddy and told him she was coming to visit.

Now, she stepped into the building like she owned it.

The receptionist at the front desk saw her and smiled politely. "Good afternoon, Miss Maya."

Maya didn’t even glance at her. She simply walked past, her heels clicking against the shiny marble floor.

She took the elevator up to the 12th floor. Once there, she walked straight into the sugar daddy’s office without knocking.

He looked up and smiled when he saw her. "Maya. You’re here. How are you today?"

Maya didn’t answer right away. She walked up to him, pouting, then suddenly threw herself onto his arm like a child.

"I’ve had a terrible day," she whined. "Someone used their connections to snatch my role! I worked so hard, and they gave the part to someone else!"

The sugar daddy raised an eyebrow. "What happened?"

Maya sniffled and leaned closer. "The casting director... I think he slept with the girl who got the part. I’m way more talented than her! I should’ve gotten the role. But they picked her!"

Her voice trembled as if she was heartbroken. "Maybe if I had slept with him too, I would’ve gotten it."

The sugar daddy’s smile slowly vanished. His face grew cold. He stared at Maya.

Maya blinked up at him with wide eyes and quickly added, "But I didn’t! I would never do that unless I had no other choice."
