Selena chuckled lightly, completely unbothered. "Oh really?" she said, her tone teasing. "Aurora won’t believe that."

Mia’s eyes widened again. "Why wouldn’t she?" she demanded. "Aurora is my best friend. Of course she’ll believe me!"

Selena tilted her head, a sly smile on her lips.

"Because," she said calmly, "Aurora knows that your body is more honest than your words. If I just start things right, she’ll see the truth herself. I can even prove it to her right now."

Mia’s whole face turned bright red. She pointed at Selena with shaky hands, her voice trembling with anger.

"You’re really... you’re really..."

Before she could finish, Selena suddenly stepped forward and caught Mia’s hand.

Pulling her close, she whispered softly in Mia’s ear, "If you can stop me, then go ahead. I’ll admit defeat."

Mia’s heart raced, her face burning. She quickly pushed Selena away and slammed the door shut, her voice filled with anger.

"I’m not talking to you anymore! You can stay outside by yourself!"

Selena laughed softly from the other side of the door. "That’s fine," she said with a teasing tone. "Aurora already gave me permission to live here."

The door flew open again, and Mia stood there, glaring at her. "Aurora didn’t say any such thing!" she said angrily.

Selena took the chance and slipped inside before Mia could react.

Closing the door behind her, she started walking slowly toward Mia.

Mia’s heartbeat grew faster. She backed away step by step, her voice shaking. "What are you doing?"

Selena smirked slightly. "What do you think I’m doing?" she asked softly.

"If you try anything funny..." Mia started, but Selena waved her hand and interrupted her mid-sentence.

"You and Aurora both think I’m some kind of hooligan," Selena said calmly.

"But I’ll tell you something...I never touch anyone without their consent. So if you can keep yourself from giving consent, I won’t do anything."

Her words made Mia freeze. Before she could reply, Selena leaned forward slightly.

Out of panic, Mia closed her eyes tightly, expecting something to happen.

But instead of a touch, she heard a clicking sound.

Her eyes shot open, and she saw Selena holding her phone up, the camera pointed at her.

"Smile," Selena said playfully. "This will be proof for when you go crying to Aurora later."

Mia’s face went red with both embarrassment and fury. "What are you doing!?" she shouted.

Selena waved her hand casually. "Relax. This is just proof that you’re lying," she said lightly.

Mia glared at her, her anger burning even stronger. "You’re bullying me!"

Selena smiled softly.

"No, I’m proving that I’m not the hooligan you think I am. You also look forward to our moments together, don’t you?"

Mia’s eyes filled with frustration. She turned away sharply, saying,

"I don’t want to talk to you!" and started walking toward the door.

But before she could take another step, Selena grabbed her arm and turned her around.

Without any hesitation, Selena leaned in and kissed her.

At first, Mia resisted, trying to push her away. But as the seconds passed, her strength weakened, and she slowly stopped fighting. Her eyes fluttered shut, and she found herself kissing back.

When it was finally over, both of them were breathing lightly. Selena looked at Mia’s flushed face and smiled softly.

"You look the most beautiful when you’re like this," she said gently.

Mia rolled her eyes, her face still red. "I don’t want to talk to you," she muttered, looking away.

Selena chuckled quietly. "But I want too," she said warmly. Then, without warning, she pulled Mia into a soft hug.

Mia stiffened at first, but when she heard Selena’s quiet voice near her ear, her anger started to fade.

"I’m sorry," Selena whispered.

Mia blinked, confused. "Why are you saying sorry?" she asked softly.

Selena’s voice trembled a little. "Because I wasn’t there for you when you needed me," she said.

"When everything fell apart, I wasn’t there to protect you. I’m really sorry for that."

Mia’s eyes softened, and her heart ached. Slowly, she hugged Selena back.

Her voice was quiet and tender. "It’s okay," she whispered.

Selena smiled faintly and stroked Mia’s back. After a while, she guided her to the bed and sat down, letting Mia rest on her lap.

She brushed Mia’s hair gently and stayed like that, quietly comforting her until Mia finally started to relax.

Meanwhile, Aurora had already returned to her apartment.

Half of the lunch break was over, and she didn’t feel like studying anymore. So she turned her attention to the work that mattered most, her software. She decided to spend the entire day working on it.

The next day, when Aurora entered the school, she was greeted by a surprising sight.

Mia was sitting at her desk, cheerful and glowing like her usual self. Beside her sat Selena, teasing her now and then, sometimes twirling Mia’s curly hair in her fingers, sometimes leaning close with a playful smile.

Aurora raised an eyebrow as she watched them. "Looks like my matchmaking worked really well," she muttered to herself.

When she saw Mia’s shy yet happy smile, Aurora couldn’t help but laugh softly in her heart. ’At least she’s happy again,’ she thought. ’That’s all I wanted.’

Without thinking too much, she walked toward them.

The moment Mia saw her, she jumped up from her seat and ran over to hug her tightly. "Aurora! I missed you!" she said with a bright smile.

Aurora laughed and patted her back. But then she noticed Mia shooting a glance toward Selena, almost as if she was expecting her to get jealous.

To Aurora’s surprise, Selena only leaned back in her chair, watching with a calm and amused expression.

Aurora smiled to herself. ’Looks like I’m going to be the third wheel now,’ she thought. ’Maybe they’ll start using me just to make each other jealous.’

But looking at how calm Selena was, she knew their fights in the future would be softer and less explosive. That thought comforted her.
