CHAPTER 409: CHAPTER 409: BANKRUPTCY

The instant she said it, the laughter and mocking from the group faded. For a moment, all of them felt a strange chill, a fear they had not expected.

They were bold and loud because they always had Diana to back them up.

Diana was their shield, their protector. Without her, they were unsure. Their confidence wavered, and for the first time, they weren’t certain if Diana would save them from Aurora.

They all turned to look at Diana. They had relied on her for so long.

Every time they bullied someone, it was because they knew Diana was behind them.

Diana was their armor. But now, Diana’s expression was unreadable. She didn’t flinch, she didn’t move, she just looked at Aurora quietly. Her silence was enough to make the group nervous.

Finally, Diana nodded. That small gesture made one of the girls, Sabrina, turn toward Aurora with a challenging smile.

"If that is true, then go ahead. Do it," she said, her voice sharp. "If you can’t do it in two minutes, I will punch you myself."

Aurora raised an eyebrow, her calm expression never faltering. "Sure. You can punch me," she said, her voice even and steady. "As long as you are able to."

Sabrina chuckled, a little nervously now, and said, "Then go ahead."

Aurora pulled out her phone and calmly dialed a number.

Everyone in the parking lot watched her, unsure what she was about to do.

The phone rang, and after a few seconds, a familiar voice answered. "Hello?"

Aurora spoke softly, but her words carried authority.

"Emily, I want... I want," she paused for a moment, glancing at Sabrina, "I need your help. I need you to take down a company completely. Its name is Samuel Corporation."

Emily was silent for a moment. Then she understood what Aurora was asking.

Aurora wanted her to issue a statement through her software company.

The statement would declare that anyone who had invested in Samuel Corporation or was working with it would now be blacklisted from collaborating with Aurora’s company.

It would force all investors and partners to withdraw immediately. That kind of move would bankrupt the corporation quickly.

Emily nodded slowly. She understood. "I will do it," she said.

Aurora nodded and spoke again. "Make sure it happens within the next five minutes."

Emily agreed and hung up. Aurora looked back at Sabrina. "The time starts now."

Sabrina’s face was pale, but she tried to look calm. She stared at her phone nervously, pretending she was composed.

For a few minutes, the group watched in silence, the tension growing. They had never expected Aurora to take action so quickly.

The five minutes passed slowly. Sabrina checked her phone and saw that nothing seemed to happen.

She smiled at Aurora, thinking she had won. "You’ve lost," she said confidently. "You can’t do anything to me."

Before Aurora could respond, Sabrina rushed forward, intending to punch her.

Aurora barely moved and decided to dodge it, but who would have thought that Kaylee would intervene? As result the impact sent Kaylee crashing toward the ground and crimson hot blood started to seep out of her lips.

She collapsed slightly to the ground.

Aurora’s eyes widened slightly as she looked at Kaylee. "Are you okay?" she asked.

Sabrina glared at her with disdain. "Why are you getting involved?" Sabrina snapped. "This is between me and her!"

Sabrina tried to kick Kaylee, but Aurora reacted instantly.

She moved with precision and kicked Sabrina hard. Sabrina flew backward, landing far away on the ground. The entire group gasped.

Aurora quickly turned to Kaylee. "Are you hurt?" she asked. Kaylee shook her head, her jaw tight, her fists clenched.

Aurora looked at her, understanding instantly what kind of person Kaylee was. Kaylee was loyal.

She would go to great lengths for someone she admired or trusted.

She was brave, stubborn, and strong in her own way. Aurora didn’t need to say anything.

A decision had already formed in her mind.

Aurora helped Kaylee up and looked toward Sabrina, her eyes sharp. "You should check the news instead of acting so arrogantly," she said calmly.

Sabrina, furious and humiliated, picked up her phone.

Her hands trembled as she held it.

Diana stood silently beside her, watching.

Sabrina’s heart skipped a beat as her phone rang. She answered it nervously.

The news on the other end shocked her. Her father’s corporation was facing bankruptcy.

The realization hit her instantly, and she broke out in a cold sweat.

She looked at Aurora with wide, terrified eyes. "You... you can’t do that!" she whispered, almost unable to believe it.

Aurora smirked, calm and collected. "I can," she said.

Sabrina turned to Diana, desperate. "Help me!" she cried.

Diana stared at her for a long moment, her expression serious.

Then she took out her own phone and checked the trending news.

Within moments, she understood everything. She looked at Aurora with shock written on her face.

"How are you connected to the most trending software company?" she asked, her voice steady but full of disbelief.

Sabrina immediately realized the truth and checked her own phone.

Her hands shook as she saw the messages and notifications.

The evidence was clear. Aurora had somehow orchestrated the whole situation.

Her father’s corporation, Samuel Corporation, was on the verge of total collapse because of Aurora.

Sabrina could not believe it. She pointed at Aurora, her face red with anger and humiliation.

"You’re lying! There’s no way a student could bankrupt a corporation!" she shouted. "This must be some kind of inside knowledge! You already knew about it!"

Aurora rolled her eyes at Sabrina’s outburst. She stayed calm, her expression unchanged. Sabrina continued, fuming.

"If you had that much power, why didn’t you tell me in advance? Why did you let this happen?"

Aurora was flabbergasted; she couldn’t believe her ears and pointed at Sabrina saying,

"Even if I hadn’t orchestrated everything now, I wouldn’t have told the news about the bankruptcy of your father. Second thing..."
