76: Chapter 76: The Indescribable Thing 76: Chapter 76: The Indescribable Thing The Undead Skeletons marched in neat formation towards the depths of the dungeon, much to the satisfaction of Violet’s touch of OCD.

Then, she looked down into the space beneath and saw the master of this dark domain.

Even though Violet had anticipated this, the reality unfolding before her eyes was far beyond her imagination, and even her understanding.

The monster deep underground was the one Lorcan had previously illuminated for her, the creature depicted within the mural that was the focus of the summoning ritual.

No wonder, the master of the castle chose to oversee such a deep cleft, not wanting it to be known by others.

Because, when the thing he wanted to keep hidden appeared, the monstrously exposed body was beyond what an ordinary person could accept as a living creature.

This living thing wasn’t some god or demon, it was rather a bonafide monster that you’d only find in nightmares.

And now, the castle’s master somehow learned how to summon it and has brought it into this world.

The Undead Skeletons, at the behest of Violet, marched in uniform steps towards the sombre depths underground.

They showed no fear whatsoever, as if they were immune to monster’s psychic magic, their intellects as feeble as the diminished.

These undead could not recognize anything beyond bones, hence their apparent fearlessness in the face of this terrifying monster.

Under the illumination of the white orbs floating mid-air, the grotesque mound on the ground resembling a meat paste writhed slowly.

It was the ruler of this dark world.

The meat paste had grayish-green skin, perhaps to cover its hideous, rotting corpse-like body.

But it was all in vain, it had bloated to the point where the skin and meat became one grotesque mass, conveying an overwhelming sensation of disgust.

It had countless tentacles growing from the meat pile, its massive mouthparts exposed, the sharp teeth presented in a grisly display.

Through its mouthparts, one could see that beneath those massive teeth lay even more teeth interlocking together, capable of crushing and pulverizing anything that fell into its mouth.

There wouldn’t be a single person who would want to test the sharpness of its teeth with their bodies.

Through its layers of sharp teeth, it seemed like a parasite that had grown from the earth itself.

Lodging in the earth, gnawing at every passing piece of fresh flesh.

Violet could be certain that no one knew what the hell this thing was!

According to the mural, it seemed that someone had summoned it through an evil sacrificial ritual.

How bored must have that madman been to summon such a hideous thing in his idle time?

Or was he not afraid that he’d lose his appetite forever?

Violet furrowed her brows, feeling clueless about how to initiate an attack on the monster in front of her.

Its body was full of vulnerabilities, where it seemed like any part could be attacked, but it also seemed like general attacks would prove ineffective.

Only divine magic could potentially annihilate its will!

Upon this thought, Violet felt that Villes’ so-called ‘minor nuisance’ was genuinely misleading her!

A monster that is difficult to approach and even harder to kill- if such a creature is deemed a ‘minor nuisance’, then Violet was genuinely curious about what would qualify as a ‘major nuisance’!

What kind of monster would be considered as a ‘major nuisance’?

That was the honest question Violet wanted to ask out loud.

If the monster in the depths of the dungeon at least resembled some sort of animal, then it might be easier to deal with.

But who could explain what this immobile heap of flesh was supposed to be?

As Violet was engrossed in her worrisome analysis, the seemingly harmless creature attacked.

Its tentacles extended far beyond Violet’s expectations.

Just as the undead were getting closer, those aimlessly writhing tentacles became frantic as if sensing threat approaching.

These tentacles began to reach out towards the undead summoned by Violet, coiling around them, and flinging them into the sky.

Some even caught three or four skeletons off guard.

Its power was far beyond Violet’s imagination, despite its laughably bloated body.

Yet the monster’s strength was tangible and formidable!

The captured undead in its grip were like toys seized by a mischievous child, being relentlessly slammed against the ground.

No matter how powerful the Sixth Tier Undead were, they were helpless under this unilateral onslaught.

The speed of the swinging tentacles was too fast, and within a few swings, the weapons fell from the Undead’s grips.

Violet watched this bizarre event in dumbstruck awe as it unfolded before her eyes.

This was against the order of power!

Even though both sides had a sixth tier aura, there seemed to be a severe imbalance in the creature’s offense and defensive ratios.

Its attacking capabilities far surpassed the sensed aura.

This gave Violet a feeling of deception, the monster used the devastation of the sixth tier undead to display its power.

Trapped under the dark world, it lost its ability to move.

Your huge mouth is clearly used to devouring animals like human beings.

With its massive body, it must have a large food intake.

Not knowing how long it had been starving.

Because of this starvation, it became so violent.

If no one is looking after it or worshipping it, it will eventually starve to death.

But the rotten smell lingering in the air explained that although it couldn’t move, it had long tentacles.

Its tentacles grew enough to entangle demons, originally human, and deliver them to its mouth.

Watching the undead being flicked around by the monster, Violet thought about how little resistance these demons would actually put up against this massive creature.

If it weren’t for the fact that these undead didn’t have a single ounce of flesh on them, they would probably have ended up in the creature’s mouth already, thought Violet.

Finally, under the powerful slaps of the monster, the unfortunate undead drained its last bit of Soul Power, its sturdy bones lost the binding of the soul, and scattered across the ground.
