Aedan held Isabe and took her out, then handed her to Heriberto in the hallway, saying, “I’ll leave Be to you.”

Heriberto took Isabe and said, “No trouble, I’m Be’s dad.”

Aedan heard that and just gave a slight smile. He didn’t say anything. After saying goodbye to Isabe, he just left.

He had another surgery this morning, so he couldn’t stay long in Isabe’s room.

Heriberto held Isabe and went back to the hospital room, and the servants had already set up breakfast.

Seeing the big breakfast on the table and knowing Iris had made some for him too, Heriberto’s little bit of annoyance just disappearedpletely.
