CHAPTER 384: 212 IS HE LOVING SELFISHLY? _4
She was naturally fine, and the housekeeper breathed a sigh of relief, quickly heading to the kitchen where the porridge should be cooking.
The room was filled with a strong smell of alcohol, and Cecilia Wilson couldn’t help but frown slightly, softening her steps as she walked in.
Foster lay on his couch after a night of drinking, seemingly asleep but immediately raising his eyes the moment he heard footsteps.
Cecilia Wilson looked at those eyes; Foster had very attractive eyes, like blooming peach blossoms floating within them.
"You... why are you back?" Foster couldn’t believe his eyes. Wasn’t it supposed to be another ten days or half a month? Why was she back now? He rubbed his eyes forcefully and looked again, indeed it was Cecilia Wilson.
"I came back because there was nothing else," Cecilia Wilson walked up and handed the bowl of hangover tea in her hand to Foster.
The tall, slim man standing in front of her was like an obedient child, taking the bowl and drinking it all in one go.
"Actually, I don’t have a drinking habit; yesterday, I was just drinking with a friend. His wife ran away; he was in a bad mood," Foster explained quietly after finishing the delicate, small white jade bowl.
"Hmm..." Cecilia Wilson nodded, and the housekeeper had already brought up the porridge.
"You drink some porridge first; I’ll go change clothes," Cecilia Wilson pointed to the bowl of porridge as the housekeeper placed it on the table, then prepared to change her clothes. Having rushed back last night and taken a car ride all night, her clothes were soaked with that annoying smell, which she couldn’t stand.
"Cecilia Wilson..." Foster couldn’t help but encircle her slim body from behind. Though he drank the hangover tea, he had no intention of sobering up; there were some things he wanted to say boldly with the courage that alcohol provided.
"Do you not really like me, and feel embarrassed to reject me?" Cecilia Wilson seemed naturally cold, is that why she isn’t passionate towards him?
"No, that’s not what I mean," The smell of alcohol on Foster covered his clean aura; he was a bit different today.
Cecilia Wilson recalled Mother Foster’s words; if her son wanted, she couldn’t refuse or string him along, or else Cecilia would meet a tragic end.
She couldn’t reject this man, no matter how unwilling she was.
"Then let’s go on a date today. We haven’t had a date before," Foster lowered his head, leaning against Cecilia Wilson as he spoke softly.
He was always gloomy, but he couldn’t let Cecilia Wilson stay bored in the house with him. He heard that girls liked going out to shop, or watch movies, something he should do with her as normal couples do.
Cecilia Wilson felt a wave of relief wash over her, she was worried Foster might ask for something like sleeping together.
She quickly nodded and said, "Let me shower and change clothes first; you change too, and then we’ll go out."
Cecilia Wilson changed her clothes, thinking about the date, she gritted her teeth and put on a little floral dress.
This Foster Family had many eyes watching her, and if she wasn’t invested enough in this date, Mother Foster would probably call her soon.
When Cecilia Wilson appeared in front of Foster, he had already tidied up, and seeing her in the dress rendered him momentarily speechless. Her hair was a bit longer now, neatly tucked behind her ears, her face plain and free from extra adornment.
With her there, she was the simplest, most captivating color in his world...
