CHAPTER 387: 213 SUDDEN MISFORTUNE_3

The man in front of her made her feel sick to the point of nausea. The feeling of humiliation stirred her, and tears began to fall from her eyes.

She rarely cried, but because of this man, she had shed tears time and again.

At dawn, few people were on such a road.

Atlas Hallow approached fiercely, his eyes filled with overwhelming love and hate, gritting his teeth as he said, "As long as I want it, no one can stop me..."

He swiftly encircled Charlotte Miller’s slender waist, opened the car door, and shoved her inside brutally.

She didn’t want to go with him. A dangerous feeling engulfed her, threatening to devour her whole. She knew she mustn’t go with him.

Charlotte’s fingers clutched tightly onto the car door.

"Help..." Her soft, clear voice carried with it terror and sharply pierced through the calm morning silence.

A few middle-aged people jogging near the small park started approaching, "Hey, what are you doing..."

"Let go of that girl..."

"Hurry, help me, help me..." Seeing people coming, Charlotte shouted even louder as if she had seen her saviors.

Help her? Let’s see who could save her; Atlas, reeking of alcohol, turned his head and coldly scanned the approaching individuals.

He swiftly pried Charlotte’s fingers off, threw her into the back seat of the car, closed the door, and without turning back, reached into his waist, and magically produced a sleek black handgun in his hand.

The dark muzzle pointed directly at those heads approaching.

Those who came to stop him stepped back two or three steps. No matter how righteous, under the gun’s threat, no one dared to act rashly.

Atlas Hallow quickly shut the car door and drove away into the distance.

He locked the car doors; Charlotte couldn’t open them, or she would rather jump out now, willing to suffer injuries than be taken by him.

The car drove all the way to the old city ruins where Atlas used to work. It was once a factory, now mostly torn down, leaving only a huge warehouse, standing desolate in the ruins, as quiet as a ghost town.

Atlas drove the car into the empty warehouse, stopping. Sitting in the car, his deep eyes sparkled with intense desire, staring hard at Charlotte.

"I gave you everything, yet what did you do to me? You toyed with me, over and over again..." He leaned over, his large hands caressed her, Charlotte’s delicate neck, speaking lowly, "Do you enjoy playing with me?"

Charlotte’s long eyelashes trembled; this man was now exceedingly dangerous.

She softly spoke, "Let me go..."

Atlas seemed to understand her words and relaxed his grip on her.

But when Charlotte reached out to press the car door lock button, his large hand seized her forcefully.

"What are you trying to do?" If he dared to force her once more, she would surely kill him, this bastard.

"Stop doing this, don’t make me hate you even more..." Charlotte whimpered, crying out as she tried to dodge, but where could she escape in such a confined space?

Charlotte didn’t know how much time had passed, yet every minute and every second felt like torment in the Inferno.

Until everything was over, Atlas surprisingly fell asleep.

He seemed to emit all the fermented alcohol aroma from his sweat and pores, then fell into a deep sleep.

Throughout the terrifying ordeal, Charlotte kept herself awake, refusing to pass out.

Only when sure he was asleep, did she slowly move his hand clamped onto her.

Charlotte picked up the shirt he had thrown in the car and put it on, as her shirt and jacket had been torn to shreds by him.

She fumbled for the car keys, unlocked the door controls, and opened the car door, then with his car key, quickly fled.

Frightened, she forgot the pain in her body, only wanting to flee faster.

She locked Atlas Hallow inside the car, simply out of her immense fear.

She feared turning back and seeing Atlas waking up, chasing her to capture her.

She dreaded falling into his hands once more, terrified of being caught and locked in that desolate forest again, never returning to reality.
