Broken Possessors of Infinite Regression Academy
PAID Chapter 230
"Please stall for just a little longer. I’ll bring those guys over."
A quiet whisper was heard right next to her. Kang Ra-hye slightly nodded to indicate her understanding before approaching the other three, who were still standing there in a daze, their faces showing they hadn’t yet fully recovered from the shock.
"It could be a trap," she said.
"A trap… you say? May I ask what led you to that conclusion?"
While the others were distracted, Ra-hye quickly sprinted along the path the ogres had fled down. Their footprints, though chaotic, continued in a straight line.
Occasionally, she passed large holes in the ground, and at each one, the number of footprints increased. It seemed that more ogres had joined those who fled earlier, possibly encouraged to follow by their comrades. The area around her was desolate, abandoned by those who had already run.@@novelbin@@
Judging by the fact that I didn’t sense anything earlier, it was clear that they hadn’t fled because of me, like the first ogres had. Rather, those who had fled first must have invited the others to escape together.
After passing several of these holes, Ra-hye arrived at a massive clearing, far larger than anything she had encountered before. At the center of this space, she saw ogres cowering.
'Found them.'
There were a total of seventeen of them, with one twin-headed ogre standing over them. For a weak-hearted hunter, this would have been a heart-stopping sight.
'I could’ve sworn this was rated as an A-5 grade dungeon.'
Even though the Eternal Guild was involved, a group of only four A-rank hunters wouldn’t be able to clear this dungeon without taking some serious damage. At least, not by the standards of the hunters I know.
It must have been a side effect of the recent recalculations of the gate’s formula. Lately, both gate rating formulas and dungeon break calculations had been frequently off the mark.
If Kang Ra-hye and I hadn’t come along, this A-5 grade dungeon would have escalated into an even bigger disaster.
