"This.." Ragnar muttered, eyes widening in surprise. He studied the details of the new skill once more before closing the window.
’As expected from an uncommon grade skill,’ Ragnar thought. ’Not only does it give a wholesome boost of 50% attack power and speed, it already grants a special effect!’
Ragnar turned to look at Noah, who had managed to miss the entire activity with the skill scroll since his eyes were focused on his shoulder, which was healing at a visible pace.
His eyes only left the recovering shoulder when the process was completed a few minutes after.
For the next five minutes, Noah did not stop praising the effect of the healing potion. He even began to inquire about the strength boosting potion and how it might stack.
Ragnar waited for the excitement of his friend to die down before they began discussing their plan for the raid tonight.

Goblin Hideout
"CHEE CHEE!"
Two goblins standing guard over the entrance of the cave spoke with one another in their unintelligible goblin language, unaware of the two furious eyes watching them from the bushes nearby.
"Wait here, I’ll quickly take care of those two," Ragnar whispered to Noah, who nodded in agreement.
Ragnar stood and dashed toward the goblins with insane speed. As he drew closer, he equipped his sword, which reflected the crescent glow of the moon hanging in the dark sky.
The two goblins noticed his arrival and lifted their weapons in defense. Their mouths opened as they attempted to scream and inform the other goblins in the hideout. But they were miserably unlucky.
Ragnar’s blade slit their throats before their voices escaped.
The heads of the two goblins landed on the ground with low thuds. Their eyes widened in terror even after death.

Ragnar ignored the two notifications that popped up in front of his retina and signaled for Noah to emerge. Before Noah arrived, Ragnar harvested two monster cores from the heads of the two goblins.
Once Noah arrived, the two of them began making their way into the deeper part of the cave. A pungent smell of sweat, rot, and other unknown substances wafted across, causing the two to wrinkle their noses in disgust.
But they continued forward, the dim light of the moon being their only source of illumination, until a certain point where all they saw was complete darkness.
But Ragnar led the way, his extraordinary perception allowing him to trace their steps carefully. Noah followed silently behind him.
After about three minutes of walking cautiously inside the dark cave, a beam of fiery light was spotted, escaping from the deeper part of the cave. It seemed to be coming from a fireplace or so, as heated wind from the cave beat against their faces.
At the same time, they began hearing clear chattering in unintelligible tongues, reminiscent of the goblins they had slain earlier.
The two of them proceeded forward even more cautiously and finally reached the gathering of goblins.
The tunnel-like path ended, revealing the large compartment of the cave where dozens of goblins could be seen.
There were three fireplaces within the cave. Several dozen goblins sat around the fire and discussed with one another.
They failed to notice Ragnar and Noah, who had positioned themselves perfectly to avoid being caught.
A cold expression appeared on Noah’s face as he saw the large number of goblins. He gritted his teeth, clutched his sword, and turned to look at Ragnar.
Ragnar’s eyes were locked on the gathering as he used [power inspection] on the goblins. Just like the horde that attacked them earlier, there were goblin warriors, goblin archers, and goblin spell casters in this group.
The population of the goblin warriors was more, almost three times the total number of goblin archers, who numbered almost a dozen.
’Except those five goblin spell casters sitting at the far end who are level 8, the others are weaker. We can take care of them,’ Ragnar concluded inwardly before turning to Noah.
"Proceed with caution. Watch out for the archers and spell casters." Ragnar warned, clutching his sword as his eyes turned cold. "Let’s begin."

"CHEE!"
"CHEEE!"
The goblins sitting around the closest campfire discussed amongst themselves, while letting out shrill laughter. Their laughter was loud, but it was compressed by the noise of the other dozens of goblins in the cave.
"CHEE...CH.."
One of the goblins was speaking when his speech abruptly ended, causing his colleagues to look in his direction.
Their bodies shivered and their eyes widened as they saw their colleague still sitting, but his head was no longer on his neck. Blood splattered everywhere and even soaked part of the fire burning beside them.
"CHEEE!"
The goblins screamed and alerted the other goblins as they reached out for their weapons.
"Do not even dare!"
"You bastards!"
Ragnar appeared in the midst of the goblin warriors and decapitated them with ease.
Noah arrived quickly and stabbed the goblin currently staring at Ragnar with awe.
Following their arrival, the cave erupted in more noise than before — all the goblins previously relaxing were letting out furious cries as they grabbed their weapons and charged at the two humans that appeared in their territory.
"CHEEE!"
"CHEEE!"
Their loud cries were messy, but one could feel the anger raging from their bestial voices.
Ragnar and Noah stood their ground as dozens of goblin warriors approached them.
"Bring out the stone golems," Ragnar instructed Onyx in a cool tone.
Three gallant stone golems appeared out of thin air, their sudden appearance disrupting the attack of the raging goblin warriors.
Meanwhile, at the far end of the cave, five goblin spell casters whose height and appearance were different from the others observed the commotion calmly.
