Chapter 380 Breaking Free

bKelly’s /bPOV

I drew in a steady breath, letting my pheromones drift lightly, carrying the chill of Snow Pack in tune with my wolf Kelly’s emotions.

My gaze swept over those women–Leiss’s old lovers–draped in their expensive gowns, standing on the red carpet like living proof of his farce. Their very presence mocked his clownish disguise.

I raised my voice. “Thank you all for your trouble. I’ll see that you’re sent home safely.”

Atst they stopped, turned sharply, and walked out of the hall. Like a gust of wind, they stripped away Leiss’s final shred of dignity.

I stepped forward, passing him as he stood frozen in ce, hollow–eyed, like his spirit had left him.

Facing the guests, I smiled and said evenly, “Everyone, treat what you just saw as a

performance. I know why you all came here. But once a bond is severed, it cannot be restored. Between Leiss and me–there is nothing left.”

Leiss’s eyes

burned red, fists clenched. He stared at me without speaking, his pheromones a chaotic storm of panic and pleading, like a wolf cornered with nowhere to run.

Inside, a grim satisfaction welled up, tinged with bitterness.

I had once been just as low before him.

“During our bond, what little affection we had had already crumbled. I know my ce. I’m just an Omega, unworthy of Crimson Moon Pack’s proud beta. From now on, I won’t even dare to dream of it.”

My words were final, severing every tie.

If he still clung to me after this, he would only be degrading himself. No wolf would persist.

“Mate!” Leiss rasped, voice shaking apart.

He lunged and seized my hand. “Where are you going? This is our ceremony–you can’t walk away!”

All eyes fixed on me. I inhaled and spoke firmly, “I’m founding aw firm, dedicated to fighting injustices against female wolves. I’ll devote everything to protecting their rights and interests. In my failed marriage I was humiliated, ignored, trampled, and pped down. I will endure it no longer. Ladies, the only shield we have issting protection of our interests. If you ever need it,e to me.”

The hall fell deathly still, even the music cut off.

Leiss nched, staring at me as though he’d never known this woman. His pheromones seeped out, bitter and despairing, suffocating the air.

Then, a lone pair of hands began pping.

I turned and saw Leslieposed, unhurried, apuding with calm authority.

I knew her story. Leslie had endured what I endured, only she’d had the advantage of birthright and power.

I inclined my head in thanks to the Rogue Pack princess.

Her lead gave courage. A second, a third… then the apuse swelled like a rising tide, echoing louder and louder.

The women’s eyes shone. Some dabbed tears, others nodded fiercely.

In our world, when bonds broke, men dictated the division, and women left empty–handed, silenced by shame.

But today, I stood tall.

Heat surged in my chest. My wolf whispered, iKelly/ii, /iiyou /iidid /iiit/i.

I didn’t have Leslie’s status, but I had given them something else–another path.
