CHAPTER 61: CHAPTER 61: DOCTOR BO SERIOUSLY FLIRTS WITH THE LITTLE GIRL

She sat up abruptly, looking down at the men’s shirt she was wearing. Gu Anxi sniffed it, detecting a faint masculine scent...

Just as she was smelling the shirt, the door opened.

Bo Xichen was standing at the doorway, somewhat surprised. After a moment, he asked softly, "What are you doing?"

"Not doing anything." Gu Anxi immediately sat up straight.

He watched her silently as she sat on his bed. After a moment, he said quietly, "Your clothes are dry. Change and have breakfast; we’re heading to school soon."

He brought her dried clothes over and placed them on the bed. As he was leaving, he suddenly turned back. "You did a pretty good job with that blood vessel yesterday. You have talent."

Gu Anxi burrowed into the blankets, her voice muffled, "I don’t want to do it at all."

"You’ll end up liking it." Bo Xichen’s voice carried a hint of amusement as he closed the door for her.

Gu Anxi waited until she heard the door close before pulling back the blankets. She lingered for a moment, then changed into her clothes and went to the dining room.

Feng Mian was unusually lively today, staring intently at her with eager eyes.

Gu Anxi bit into her sandwich. "I have something to say."

"Hmm?" Bo Xichen lifted his gaze.

Sunlight illuminated him, enveloping him in a golden glow that made him particularly dazzling.

Gu Anxi took another bite of her sandwich. "I don’t like the sound of cutting open blood vessels, and I especially don’t like getting sprayed in the face."

"In that case, use the hemostatic forceps in advance, then you won’t get sprayed." Bo Xichen chuckled.

Gu Anxi stared at him.

"You seem quite dissatisfied." Bo Xichen smiled faintly. "Is it that the clothes weren’t cleaned enough, or is the taste of breakfast not good enough?"

Feng Mian was nearly laughing himself to death.

Dr. Bo was seriously flirting with the young lady, and his technique was surprisingly effective.

However, the kid seemed a little angry and didn’t say much in the car. Bo Xichen didn’t try to placate her either.

Feng Mian found their dynamic quite baffling.

Bo Xichen had other matters to attend to, so after dropping her off at school, he went off to take care of them.

As Gu Anxi walked into the classroom, she immediately sensed that the atmosphere was off.

Chu Yan looked like she wanted to say something but remained silent.

Wang Qin came over and whispered an apology.

Gu Anxi turned her head, seeing Lin Qi and Shen Wanqing standing together, with Lin Qi looking like she was enjoying the show.

Wang Qin whispered, "The painting I submitted for you was reported to Professor Gao. He also thinks I painted it for you, but I haven’t admitted to anything."

"I’ll add a chicken leg to your lunch." Gu Anxi gave her a smile.

Wang Qin’s expression froze—Gu Anxi was actually joking!

It wasn’t just her; the surrounding students were also stunned. Wasn’t the campus belle always aloof? When did she become so approachable?

Just as they were speaking, Professor Gao arrived, looking furious.

In his hand, he held the very painting Wang Qin had supposedly done for Gu Anxi.

Lin Qi whispered, "Wanqing, Professor Gao must be furious. He’s going to tear Gu Anxi apart."

Shen Wanqing gave a slight smile. "She brought this on herself. If she can’t paint, she should say so, instead of pretending she can."

Lin Qi also laughed, delighted.

Professor Gao slammed the painting onto the lectern and then looked at Gu Anxi. "Gu Anxi, explain this."

Gu Anxi stood up. "What would you like me to explain, Professor?"

Professor Gao was so angry his nose practically twisted. "Did Wang Qin draw this painting for you?"

Wang Qin grew flustered. After all, she was an honest girl and looked as if she wanted to speak but couldn’t find the words.

Gu Anxi glanced at her, then stated calmly and confidently, "I drew it myself."

Professor Gao’s face hardened. "You claim you painted it? Then paint it for me now, right here."
