Upon learning the news of Huang Feihu's surrender to Xi Qi, Chen Tong, the Guardian General of Lingtong Pass, flew into a rage, scolding Huang Feihu as a disloyal and unjust person, vowing to defend the pass to the very end.

However, when the two armies confronted and the arrows were ready to fly, Huang Feihu stood on top of his warhorse and publicly denounced Di Xin's tyranny loud and clear. His voice was filled with grief and defiance, touching the hearts of every soldier who heard him.

"General Chen!" reverberated Huang Feihu's voice across the battlefield, "Have I, Huang Feihu, not been loyally devoted all my life? How could I betray without just cause? Today's actions are done out of necessity! Di Xin indulges in debauchery and spares not even the women and children of the Huang Family; how could I continue to serve such a tyrannical ruler?!"

After hearing this, Chen Tong felt hesitant in his heart, but military orders were like mountains, and so, brandishing his long spear, he bellowed, "Huang Feihu, can your personal vendetta justify involving matters of the state? Today, I must keep Lingtong Pass secure!"

The two armies clashed, teetering on the brink of battle.

Leading the charge, Huang Feihu, at the vanguard, rode the Five-Leaf Divine Bull, with the Bronze Spear tightly in hand.

Chen Tong was not only skilled in martial arts but was also adept at using the Fire Dragon Dart, which possessed tremendous power.

The two fought fiercely, matched in strength.

As Huang Feihu was embroiled in the tough battle, a beam of blue light descended from the sky, revealing his son, Huang Tianhua, who appeared on the battlefield with an aura of cool elegance. Huang Tianhua, having been taken at a young age by True Monarch of Pure Void to cultivate, had now become a powerful Daoist with immense mana.

"Father, your son is here to lend you a hand!"

Huang Tianhua, standing nine feet tall with a jadelike complexion and a piercing gaze, was agile and powerful like a leopard. His hair was tied in a topknot, his waist girdled with hemp rope, his feet shod in straw sandals, and he wielded two silver hammers. The legendary Mo Ye Treasure Sword hung on his back, his presence monumental as if a god had descended to the Human World.

On the battlefield, Huang Feihu and Chen Tong were locked in fierce combat, sparks flying, battle-steeds neighing. Though Huang Feihu fought bravely, Chen Tong's Fire Dragon Dart indeed posed a great challenge, plunging him into a dire fight.

It was at this moment that Huang Tianhua leapt forward, swinging his silver hammers like a tempest attack toward Chen Tong. Seeing this, Chen Tong roared furiously, sending his Fire Dragon Dart as a streak of flame directly at Huang Tianhua.

Huang Tianhua stood undaunted, and with a breath, he inhaled the Fire Dragon Dart into his mouth and then, with a crisp sound, he bit it to pieces. Seeing this act, Chen Tong was struck with horror, realizing he had met a formidable opponent.

Seizing the opportunity, Huang Tianhua drew the Mo Ye Treasure Sword from his back; the sword gleamed brilliantly as if lighting up the surroundings, with Sword Qi cutting through the air. A single stroke changed the complexion of Heaven and Earth. Chen Tong tried to dodge, but the sword light was as swift as lightning, and in an instant, he was cleaved in two, his blood staining the battlefield red.

Jiang Ziya, watching from a distance, silently admired Huang Tianhua's display of powerful Daoist Skills. With Chen Tong's fall, the spirits of the Lingtong Pass defenders were crushed, and Jiang Ziya's grand army seized the moment to storm the pass, swiftly taking it after the battle commenced.

After the battle, Jiang Ziya personally approached Huang Feihu and his son, lavishing praise upon Huang Tianhua: "The son of General Huang, truly a man of remarkable talent and powerful Daoist Skills, your contribution today is indeed a blessing to our great army!"

Humbled by Jiang Ziya's compliments, Huang Tianhua quickly made a bowing gesture and addressed him, saying "Uncle-Master."

It was then that Jiang Ziya realized that the youth was a disciple of the True Monarch of Pure Void, now summoned by his master to serve under Jiang Ziya's command.

With Huang Tianhua joining, the morale of Jiang Ziya's grand army soared.

Soon after, Wei Hu, Tu Xingsun, Yang Ren, Li Jing, and his sons, and other disciples of the Chan Sect arrived at Jiang Ziya's camp, expressing their willingness to follow him in conquering the lands far and wide.

Amongst them, Wei Hu, with his towering stature and immense strength, wielded the Demon-Subduing Pestle, heavy as Mount Tai, stirring up the winds and clouds as he moved; Tu Xingsun, small in stature, could vanish into the earth and reappear without a trace, his Divine Skills vast; Yang Ren wielded the Five Fire Seven Feather Fan with stunning force; and Li Jing with his sons, Jinzha and Muzha, also trained by renowned teachers of the Chan Sect, each had acquired impressive skills.

Notably, Li Jing had been the General of Chentang Pass, versed in the art of war and strategy, a rare military talent.

Seeing his Chan Sect brethren, Jiang Ziya's heart swelled with joy, knowing that with their joining, his odds of victory had significantly increased.

That very night, he convened a gathering of his generals to discuss the plans for attacking Lingtong Pass.

"Gentlemen, our assembly here today is the will of Heaven. Our next target is Lingtong Pass. Once we take this stronghold, the path to Chaoge will lay wide open," declared Jiang Ziya, his voice firm and authoritative, brooking no doubt.

Hearing these words, all the generals were filled with fighting spirit.

Under Jiang Ziya's command, the grand army marched vehemently toward Lingtong Pass. The Guardian General of the pass had heard the news of Huang Feihu's surrender but remained confident, convinced that his stronghold was impregnable.

However, when the Xi Qi grand army surged toward Lingtong Pass like a flood, the Guardian General finally realized the gravity of the situation.

He ordered his soldiers to urgently reinforce the walls in preparation for battle.

Yet, with so many powerful individuals in the Xi Qi army, the defenders of Lingtong Pass couldn't hold out.

Once the great battle commenced, Wei Hu swung his Demon-Subduing Pestle, bursting through the city gates in a single blow; Tu Xingsun had already snuck underground, sabotaging the pass's defenses; Yang Ren fanned the flames with the Five Fire Seven Feather Fan, creating enormous havoc for the enemy within the city; Li Jing and his sons, along with Huang Feihu and his son, led the frontal assault, overwhelmingly rout the defending forces on the battlefield.

Through their concerted efforts, the defending forces of Lingtong Pass quickly collapsed, and the Xi Qi army seized the pass with ease.
